Just had THE WORST dining experience in my life. This place does not seem to care for the customer and their experience at all. Just a cattle call of getting as many orders in as possible. I am fine with waiting at a restaurant, as that happens all the time. I don't love the price point but understand that to an extent. HOWEVER, the fact that we were given our number and then just have to wait and stare making others uncomfortable as they are forced to scarf down their food in order for someone to get a table is insane. While awkwardly hovering over people and their families trying to eat we waited for about 15-20 minutes staring at people as they eat just in hopes to get a seat to eat our meal at. BUT DON'T WORRY BECAUSE THEY STILL ARE TAKING ORDERS KNOWING THERE IS NOWHERE FOR THEM TO SIT. Finally, after already wanting to leave because the experience was so awful and immediately regretting spending almost 40 dollars for a chicken biscuit and ham biscuit, we were able to sit down at a table. We had to jump on it immediately while it was still gross because of not we wouldn't have been able to eat. Upon sitting there a worker walked up and spoke to us. We weren't greater with a "sorry for the wait", "sorry about the mess", "sorry about that" instead we got your food is actually on the way out now. That was followed by them cleaning the table off and screaming our table number "13 is sat". Miraculously our food had "just been put on the plate". Once we got our food my order was incorrect and we couldn't even enjoy brunch because the roles were now reversed. We felt as though we had to eat as quickly as possible so the vultures looking for their seat that wasn't available could get one. BUT DON'T WORRY BECAUSE THE ORDERS WERE STILL COMING IN AND BEING TAKEN WITH STILL NO PLACE TO SEAT THEM! We awkwardly finished our meal in 6 minutes or so in order to leave so that people in the rain could get out of it and could get inside. Just so ridiculous. Just a glorified expensive biscuit place that has no care for the customer. WILL NEVER STEP FOOT BACK THERE. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I love vicious biscuit! If you have a craving for some good, quick, classic southern food like biscuits and gravy, this is your place to go. It has many options from biscuit options to yogurt. My favorite is The Vicious and it is delicious! read more

I had the Hoppy biscuit breakfast sandwich. Country ham, white cheddar & an egg over easy. Hands down the best breakfast sandwich ever! And I've had a lot of breakfast sandwiches in my day. read more

The breakfast options were plentiful. The food was delicious. The building doesn't look like much but the line out the door says it all.

Oh my biscuit! This was so yummy! And the service was great. It's a place where you order at the counter and then sit to eat. I was accompanied by my husband and brother in law. We each ordered something different and completely cleared our plates. We each tried each other's food and all agreed that it was fantastic. Also - we also had cold brew coffee that was refreshing. All in all - it's a great restaurant, great atmosphere, and great service. Go eat there. read more

We love Vicious Biscuits alllll the wayyyy! They are pure perfection in everything!!!

We found this place on Yelp. The reviews were all good and 100% accurate. This restaurant was soooo good! We waited in line for about 15 minutes, ordered and received our food in less than 10 minutes. We went to three extremely well rated restaurants over the course of the weekend and my husband said the meal he got at the vicious biscuits was his favorite of all of them. He got the flame thrower. I got the shrimp and grits. Both were so delicious. This restaurant will for sure be a routine place for us to have breakfast when we visit Charleston. Completely worth the wait! read more

Vicious biscuit was recommended to me by a couple coworkers who had nothing but amazing things to say about it, and rightfully so. I'm an adventurous eater with a love for traditional American comfort food. So I had to go with the famous vicious biscuit and let me tell you I'm glad I did! Fried chicken, a cheddar jalapeño biscuit, gravy, and cowboy candy (jalapeños) made for the perfect combination of savory with a kick. I also added on a side of breakfast potatoes (because I'm a full believer that a meal isn't complete without potatoes). They were good but a tad bit too salty for me to eat all of them. I washed it down with a "Josh's Greyhound" cocktail which to be honest I could've gone without. I could've ordered a glass of lime juice for the same taste. But that very well could've just been the bartender on shift having an off day! I will definitely be coming back! read more

Biscuits were SOO GOOD. Definitely the best biscuit I have ever had. Line is long but it doesn't take very long to get to the front. I will be back! read more

Our first visit was not pleasant. Person taking order was rude and abrupt was not helpful. Food was ok but pricey. Will not return.

Unbelievable food!!!! So good! I wish I could eat it everyday! If you get a chance please eat here!

Excellent service and so clean and tidy. Hard to believe as well as this is run, it's the only location. I had chicken and waffles. The coffee was great. They have a butter and jam bar for the amazing and fluffy biscuits. Easy in and out, fair price. This would be easy and great for kids too. Highly recommend. read more

Whaaaaa....AMAZING!!!! Fresh squeezed orange juice, fluffy, buttery, flaky biscuits, thick cut bacon...they cut no corners. I am from out of town. Last trip to Charleston tried Calliies Hot Little Biscuit...was not into it at all. Didn't get what the big deal was. But Viscous Biscuit holy god this is a whole different mind blowing experience. I Get It!!! The ONE downside is I'm sure it's a heart attack on a plate but it will taste great getting there. read more

Great food, everything on the menu sounds delicious. Hospitality makes you feel like your part of their business and appreciated. Visiting from Ohio on vacation. read more

Great breakfast! Family had a couple of different plates! I had the vicious Benny which was delicious! The folks working there are great! They are on top of everything! Team leader today helped me out with one of my orders! Don't let the long lines turn you away! They go fast! We do recommend! read more

Delicious breakfast! The biscuits were light and fluffy. The portions are huge which pleases my husband who then got to try everyone's meal. The gravy train had huge pieces of meat. The Ranchero was full of flavor. The 7 year old had no idea there were sweet potatoes in his waffle! Enjoyed every bite! read more

Every time i come here, it's always busy but it's always worth it. Whether vegetarian or carnivore, there is something on the menu for everyone. The coffee is strong, the juice is fresh squeezed, and the meals are perfectly proportioned to satisfy anyone's hunger. Plus if one delicious biscuity meal isn't enough, you can always order another. read more

This Alabama girl is highly satisfied. As a bonafide biscuit connoisseur I can testify that these biscuits are legit. If you slept in and missed church you can still meet Jesus by eating one of these biscuits. Holy Vicious Biscuit! read more

Have you been? If not you need to go! Locals and visitors alike, try this spot east of the Cooper. Their biscuits are the best in town and there's even a few things on there for those wanting lighter fare. The owners have transformed what was a tired watery space into a kitschy spot purveying great food. Locally owned! Get by and treat yourself! read more

I really enjoyed having breakfast here, the staff were quick and polite. The lines are always out the door. They have a nice menu and it very good. read more

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and was a welcome stop after the Boone Hall Plantation tour. It was very good for what it was. It was a clean, hip, fast food looking establishment in a nondescript area of Mt Pleasant. The flame thrower was very good with excellent bacon. My wife's oatmeal was also tasty but neither the atmosphere or the food was on the level of some of the other restaurants. We would go back if we wanted some unique food and we're in a hurry. read more

Vistor in Mt Pleasant for a few days but have already eaten here twice and will many more times! Not only is the food outstanding but so is the service so don't let the long line in fool you....they are fast! We were sitting there waiting for our order and a young man, turned out to be the manager, stopped to chat. Such a nice guy and nice looking too! A big hi to Jared the manager! He is surely a people person and in the right job. Biscuits to die for! read more

AWESOME BISCUITS! My wife and I have eaten there twice and we were not disappointed. Fast service and great coffee.

I don't usually leave reviews but I felt so strongly about my breakfast this morning I had to share the love. This place is THE spot for a biscuit. It is the best biscuit I have ever had. It was thick with a great crust and crunch on the outside and tender and fluffy in the inside. It had a great flavor. I had the fried green tomato biscuit with pimento cheese and bacon jam. I haven't stopped thinking about it all day. The butter/jam bar is fantastic. You can tell all of the jams are made from scratch. The place is clean and bright. The service was great. The staff was very friendly and genuinely seemed happy to have you there. I LOVE Charleston and Vicious Biscuit ranks up at the top of reasons why. When can we bring one to Florida? read more

Biscuits and grits are amazing! Nice crispy bacon and farm fresh eggs. Partnered with a mimosa or blood Mary and you're good to go! Also extremely nice staff. read more

If you see a line, it movs swiftly and it is worth it. These biscuits are like no other and the condiments to go with everything like different flavors of butter and jelly's. The facility is clean and well-kept, and the staff is cheerful and friendly. Don't miss on the shareables menu, they also have beignets too! read more

Came to this place Christmas Eve not knowing what to expect. Eggs were great, grits were incredible, and crispy perfect bacon. Small quiet really fun place for brunch. Loved it. We got our food very fast, excellent service and the manager came and chatted at the end of the meal to make sure we enjoyed it! Really impressed!! read more

Are you kidding me !? RUN don't walk to vicious biscuit. I wish I could have a place like this up north. It makes me so sad I can't eat here daily. This is heaven in your mouth. The cowboy candy (candied jalapeño) the jalapeño cheddar biscuit, the fried chicken. It's all to die for. I'm just sorry I didn't get a chance to try everything on the menu. In addition to the food they have a fabulous drink menu if you enjoy that. The line is long but there's a reason why. Don't go anywhere worse. Trust me. read more

Not quite sure what happened with whoever created the gravy (sauce really) for the shrimp and grits it tasted like a mix of hot sauce, ketchup and mayo all stirred together and then amassed atop good stuff it should not have been allowed to get near ... might have been an accident? No idea. Will try this place again though, everyone else's looked good. read more

My favorite is the Belgiam waffle. But there is 1 problem the service. But it's the best restaurant I've been to keep up the good work.

Omg - delicious! Lots of choices - biscuits huge - more than anyone one person should eat - would definitely go back !

If you have family in town that wants a southern food experience with a modern vibe vicious biscuit is the spot. Show up early to avoid a line! The line is worth the wait if you're there during peak brunch hour read more

My girlfriend and I traveled to Charleston for the first time and were looking for the perfect breakfast. We found it. Everything was perfect from service to the food. When we arrived there was a line and we were a bit worried but we were eating in about 15 minutes. The biscuits were amazing, just the right a pint of fluffy and crispy, amazing. We will be back for sure. read more

Amazing food. Decent price! So many choices. Probably my favorite brunch place in Mount Pleasant. Will be coming more often. The only problem is it gets packed easily especially on the weekends, so come early. read more

Five stars doesn't do this place justice. I am rethinking all of my 5 star reviews from the past. Nice, clean and friendly atmosphere. I got the FatBoy. The biscuit was perfect. Fried chicken was cooked perfectly, the pimento cheese was good but the hot honey they have on this sandwich is ridiculous! I loved it. My wife had the Mater. She loved it and the bacon jam was tremendous. She allowed me to taste it. My daughter loved her SeaBiscuit and her boyfriend inhaled his Ranchero. When he came up for a breath, I asked him what he thought and he gave me two thumbs up. Don't leave Mt Pleasant without trying this place. We live an hour away and this will be a regular stop for my family when we are in the area. read more

Will definitely return! Fast counter ordering and they will bring it to your table. Incredible biscuits with a wide selection of tasty trimmings you might ever consider. A great find with great food! Their biscuits are on point & make each selection a winner, can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

The name drew us in and the food made us glad we went. I really enjoyed the Chicken and Waffles.

Got the fire cracker and my girlfriend got the fat boy and they were both awesome. I think I like the fatboy more because of the pimento cheese but the firecracker was delicious as well. The bar with the different jams and better were good also. Will come back and worth the wait! read more

We are so glad that we took the time to visit this eatery. Although it was a short wait to enter, the food, service was worth it. A lady in line was a frequent flyer & recommended a few items. We got the Old School breakfast plate & added a sweet potato biscuit. Our food came out within minutes. Fresh, hot and delicious! read more
