I'm confused what star rating to give Verizon? The store at this address is fine. It's clean…read morecompetent. The location is convenient and it has private parking lot with ample parking. However, our experience from switching over from AT&T to Verizon has been awful We had two phones that Verizon delayed activation because despite us having our proof of identity via our drivers license and lots of others, their system wouldn't let us initially get a phone and that was after waiting a few hours. With lots of additional legwork and jumping through unnecessary hoops of fire to complete this task, we finally did it all newly purchased Apple iPhones for users. That should be easy, right nope,no it was not We also were supposed to get free phones switching over Our phones. We were given the wrong communication about what models we're going to be acceptable so what we initially thought we were returning and we couldn't turn in so then became the scavenger hunt for the proper phones. Which we couldn't remember the old Apple ID for so they wouldn't transfer. Currently, it seems like we're stuck purchasing one or two phones because we can't find the Apple ID information which is completely frustrating and disheartening and it makes me lose faith in both Apple and Verizon However, the people at this location seem a little more knowledgeable than the people over at Best Buy, which is why we are now focusing on coming to this brick and mortar Verizon store versus a kiosk across the street that has a sales associate that's supposed to be managing multiple carriers. I strongly advise anyone reading this who wants to deal with Verizon to come to this or this type of brick and mortar store versus an agent at a different big box type of situation such as target Walmart, Best Buy that deals with multiple carriers and multiple carrier products. . You will get better service here and have far less frustration.

Unfortunately I was NOT able to get it activated so I took it to the store where the item was purchased. When I told the representative what my situation was, she immediately advised that they could not help me and sent me to the Apple Store. When I went to the Apple store, I was advised that it's an issue with the SIM card and had to return to the Verizon Store. Had the representative at Verizon first try to resolve my situation, I would have NOT wasted over 1.5 hours going back and force. Moral of this, if you're buying an Apple , go directly to the source as they are able to provide you with all carrier plans and provide you with their best service. This location "thumbs down!"

But I already sent the email last night based on seeing that email in other responses, and he hasn't answered. So I question if All his responses below are just BS to try to make it look like they care about their customers. Let's see if he responds to my email requesting the $200 back. ------ Came into this Verizon Authorized Retailer Store today to upgrade my wife's phone and sales rep Alpha told me the trade-in value on her current phone was $220 with keeping our same data plan - the 2GB data plan. We had a very long conversation comparing my grandfathered 2GB data plan versus the lowest unlimited plan, and it would have been $56 more per month than my current plan. So it was very clear we were staying on our same 2GB data plan. I asked what promotions we have to upgrade the phone on our current plan, and Alpha said while there aren't any promotions, the trade-in value on the phone was $220. So my wife signed some digital paperwork, Alpha started setting up the new phone and transferring over data, and when it came down to sign the final digital paperwork, he informed us he could only give us $20 for the trade-in phone. We had already been in there for probably an hour and a half and when I asked him to stick by what he told us, by the deal that we made for $220 for the trade-in, he refused, and then he called his manager Brett and Brett refused as well. And then supervisor Melissa and rep Christina at Verizon customer service refuse to honor the deal that Alpha made as well. This isn't the first time this has happened. The Polaris Verizon store previously refused to honor an offer I had in writing. I would not recommend going to this Verizon store because they're going to give you misinformation and then refuse to stand behind the deal that they make with you until you're already far down the line, and then change the deal on you after you've already signed some paperwork. Shame on Alpha, Shame on Brett, and Shame on Verizon overall for failing to stand by the deal Alpha made and for failing to make this situation right with a long time Verizon customer.

So I couldn't pick it up even though the phone was sitting right there. I drove a long way to get this phone which was the last one in stock and I called them first to make sure it was ready and they didn't answer. Turns out the phones haven't worked in 2 weeks. Not to mention there were 6 customers in the store and only one employee in the store who had to call her manager for help. Her manager was off today and she was the only one working. I typically don't post or share reviews but I feel like I need to share my experience so that other customers don't have to go through what I did. A few days after preordering our new phones, my wife got a call that her phone was ready to be picked up and activated. She went into the store and was there for nearly three hours while they tried to set up her new phone. I then got a call asking me to immediately go to the store because they weren't able to upgrade her phone until my came in, which wasn't scheduled to arrive for another few days. The reason they asked me to come in was so that I could get a different phone so that hers could be upgraded. This meant having to not only leave in the middle of a work day, but wake up my daughter who was napping so that I could get there "immediately." When I arrived, we were told that they actually couldn't give us either of the phones. We voiced our discontent with the employees there due to their total ineptitude. My wife was not given any transparency into what was going on during the three hours that they were trying to activate her new phone nor could they explain what we needed to do to be able to walk out of the store with our new phones. Upon expressing this, one of the employees walked stormed into the back and slamming the door, causing the walls to shake and scaring my daughter and my wife. Giving up, we walked out of the store without any idea when or if we'll get our new phones not any idea what happened to all the money that we paid while there. If both phones for both people need to arrive at the same time so that they can be activated, this is something that should be communicated from the beginning. If a store tells a customer that a product is available for them to pick up, that transaction should take minutes, not hours.

Tonight, I got stuck with some lady with a major attitude problem. I went in there to see what my options were with a trade and she proceeded to have to check her phone every two minutes because she didn't know what she was saying and had to check her trainings. Maybe pay attention during training next time? Anyway after talking to her for about 15 minutes she basically said there is nothing she can do without making me pay for a new phone in full. I'm not sure I would've bought from her anyway due to her attitude but that's besides the point. I get home and call the Verizon helpline or whatever you wanna call it online. Within 15 minutes I had an amazing deal on a brand new phone and am picking it up tomorrow. Like I said both times I visited previously I had amazing experiences but one bad apple ruins the bunch. If you walk in and encounter a lady with an attitude problem, get right back in your car and call the Verizon basic number and they will give you a much better deal than she will.

I've been with Verizon for over twenty years and have never received the high quality service I received from this young man. He worked with me and took care of other customers at the same time. Usually, it's been my experience that after the sale is complete, customer service comes to an abrupt halt. He is patient, knowledgeable, humble and friendly. He helps with technical issues, and explains them in a way I can understand. I would put him in the category as a super-exceptional employee and should be acknowledged. Any business would be fortunate to have him as an employee. Kudos to you, Jayson! You rock!

Another Verizon franchise retailer gone wild (and I don't mean with bikini-clad coeds)!…read more Whatever you do - avoid this store. First of all, it's not a corporate-owned Verizon store. What does this mean to you? Less integrity in regards to customer service issues and a greater chance for customer dissatisfaction, which is exactly what happened to me. If you never received your high school degree and want to manage your own retail store, I'm sure the owners of this franchise will be more than happy to hire you without an interview apparently. Why do I say this? The manager on duty when I visited this store appeared to have recently had a lobotomy (or something similar to it). He didn't know anything about anything. Constantly on the phone with other stores to find the answers to customers' questions, this manager was in serious need of some real training. I actually felt sorry for him. Maybe he's more proficient now, but he wasn't then and that's a true reflection of the leadership involved with this store. Finally, I don't even know why one would bother walking into this closet-sized store. It's too small to provide the selection one deserves when patronizing Verizon. Compared to the corporate-owned stores, this one doesn't even come close. Why bother? Sorry Verizon. There's always a few bad apples in every bushel and this is one of them. Good luck.
