I wish I could give this a higher rating but honestly it was a waste of my time. My laptop died and it was the battery that I needed to quickly replace since I was teaching a class in 5 hours. They opened at 8 which was great! But I was first in line and there was only one worker. I kind of felt pushed out because he quickly looked and told me they didn't have it so he could get to the other customers. It is what it is. Went to Batteries plus on Cemetery Rd in Hilliard as walk in for a bad iPhone port connectivity. I thought I would need to get a replacement port. Seen immediately and the lady said let's try cleaning it first. She did this and phone worked well. Fixed!! No charge for her service. Very pleasant and efficient establishment. Have been there before for car battery and multiple other tasks. Each time my experience has been excellent. Would highly recommend and will be back for future issues. read more

I changed the battery and it did not improve so I went to Batteries Plus on Cemetery Road prepared to spend several hundred $$$ as mine is loaded with every option. I had a bunch of 12 volt lead-acid batteries in my garage, accumulated and stored over the years since I knew these can't be put in the trash (landfill). I called these guys on a Saturday morning and they were very happy to accommodate the recycling of my batteries. I arrived and they help me unload and were extremely courteous. When I arrived at store, I was approached and employee did a quick evaluation of my phone. Employee said to come back at 2. When I came back at 2, another employee approached me and told me the bad news that my phone needed replaced. He understood the news was not good and I was not charged for phone evaluation. I needed a battery for my15 year old Lawn Boy Gold Star Electric and pull start mower. The one i had for 5 years finally went out. I called several mowers services and went on line. Each wanted 75-$100 with no guarantee they would work. Called Batteries plus in Hilliard talked to Bryan. He said they have for $60.00. I rushed over and the battery was waiting for me. Wifes car battery decided to no longer hold a charge so we were going to replace at the Hilliard Batteries Plus on Cemetery Road as they had a online discount plus free installation. Upon arrival they checked the older battery (which we had purchased there a few years ago) and discovered it was still under warranty. They replaced it free of charge, no questions asked. Stay away if you want to have your iPhone battery serviced here. I was without a phone for six days due to the negligence of the technician who serviced my phone which may or may not have been the manager, John. While always very forthcoming about the situation, they did not go far enough to satisfy me when they broke my phone. What they did do: refunded my money on the failed attempt at servicing my original iPhone, replaced my iPhone with a refurbished one and called me throughout the process. What they didn't do was offer me enough of a gift card to make up for my inconvenience living without a phone for six days. If you think that $150 in merchandise is unfair, think about what it would be like to run a business without your phone for six days. Furthermore, my tweet to the corporate feed was met with a sterile "fill out this form link," which did NOT transfer over in full to the customer service rep that called me the first time. I am busy and did not have the information (copied on to a document at home) at my fingertips and did not want to take another 30 minutes to rehash my situation. I'm sure they're good for other things, but you should read this review if you are getting your iPhone battery replaced. Buyer beware. I will never back to a Batteries Plus or Batteries Plus Bulbs ever. read more

Made an appointment to have the charging port replaced on my iPhone 6. The technician looked at the phone and told me he thought it was just a dirty port and cleaned it up in a couple of minutes. He tested the phone and showed me it was charging fine without a new port. I asked what I owed them and they said it would be no charge and to keep them in mind for any future lighting, battery or cell phone repair needs. Even though it is a bit out of the way for where I live I will definitely give this store my future business. read more

Sometimes you get to see what a business does when things go wrong. It is where you find their level of character. I cracked my iPhone 7 screen and needed it replaced quickly. BPB had it done in just over an hour. A couple a days later I noticed the screen "ghosting" where it looks like a disembodied spirit is touching the screen. I took it back and they replaced it again. Although not as bad as the first screen but my ghost returned. I knew I needed to take it to an Apple Store but now I had an after market screen. BPB offered to find a cracked iPhone 7 screen from another store. I jumped this. In a few hours they had a broken screen. Once I arrived an apologetic Trey, promised to bump me at the head of the repairs so I could make my apple service appointment in less than an hour. I was given a full refund without any hassle. Eventually I had a working iPhone. BPB owned this issue with a passion to make it right. For this I am a loyal customer. read more

Very knowledgeable and willing to listen to what you have to say without jumping to conclusions like the punk college kids at the "genius" bar at that red fruit store. I took my iPhone to the Apple store at Polaris. The college kid there didn't even let me finish before he assumed he knew what the problem was (pocket lint in the charging slot). That didn't fix the problem, plus I had to schedule an appointment 3 days in advance. I felt like they were rushing me in and out. I went to Batteries+ on my lunch break, the technician listened to my thoughts, told me my options, and fixed the problem (a whole new battery) in about 15 minutes from stepping in the door to leaving the store. I will definitely go to Batteries+ before the red fruit store, if I have an iPhone issue in the future. read more

Amazing service. I needed a remote battery for my 10yr Canadian car. Not only did they have it ($7) but they solved a long-time problem of only having one key. My iPhone 6s battery needed replaced. I tried going to the Apple store at Easton, they have ALWAYS been a waste of time for any sales or service we have ever needed. I called Apple, after about 1.5 hours on the phone they did a diagnostic to assure me that the battery needed replaced (because the settings/battery feature saying the battery needed serviced wasn't good enough?!), but all their options would take at least a week with no phone for me. I made an appointment at Best Buy on Morse Road, walked in, and they said the appointment was just to do the diagnostic (Apple already did this - again, I know the battery needs replaced) and then I could set up another appointment for at least a week later and they would need a week from that appointment to replace the battery so I would not have my phone for a week. We went shopping at MicroCenter and tried there, but they couldn't look at it that day. I finally called the Hilliard Batteries Plus store. The girl on the phone said they could do the battery replacement that afternoon, so we made the appointment and went to the store after lunch. When we got to the store, they were very friendly and checked me in and replaced the battery in about 10-15 minutes. I wish I would have just called them first. Lesson learned. They are first on my list from here on out. Highly recommend them for cell phone service and battery replacements. read more

It's great having a place you can find pretty much any battery but they are way overpriced. I bought two batteries to replace the old ones in my key fobs for $8 and change. These same batteries are about half that pretty much anywhere else. read more
