My experience with Ifixandrepair was excellent. My laptop was a mess after an innocent update with…read moremicrosoft. Given the condition I needed to leave it for a few days. The unit was totally fixed. Any issues after that, tweaks-adjustments, etc. were completely taken care of no charge. I highly recommend. Also had my Iphone screen replaced in a snap! I feel I have a place to go that I can rely on for any technical/software issues! Thank you for such excellent service & repair! Di

!!!This review is subject to change depending on how the situation is ultimately resolved!!!…read more On Wednesday the 6th, I went into this repair shop to get an estimate for fixing my phone. I was quoted $270 for the repair, plus $95 for overnight shipping, bringing the total to $323.25 after taxes and fees. Even though the part was not expected to arrive until Friday, I paid the full amount upfront on Wednesday because I personally knew and trusted the employee helping me. On Friday the 8th at around 1:10 PM, I dropped my phone off believing it was in good hands. That turned out to be a huge mistake. I returned around 2:12-2:23 PM to pick up the phone. At first glance, everything seemed fine. The screen had been repaired and the visible damage was gone. Unfortunately, after a few hours of use, I realized my front-facing camera was no longer functioning properly. Instead of displaying an image, it either showed black or a static effect similar to an old TV screen. I immediately called the shop and was told to bring the phone back in, which I did. After dropping it back off and doing some shopping nearby as suggested, I returned to hear something completely unacceptable. I was informed that another part needed to be ordered and that I would be expected to pay an additional $110 for a component that was damaged while the phone was in their possession during the repair process. On top of that, I was told I would need to leave my phone with them until Monday. As someone who relies heavily on my phone, this situation has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. I have worked in this Walmart and have supported this business since they first opened. I have always treated the staff kindly and recommended people to them in the past, which makes this entire experience even more disappointing. Instead of taking responsibility for damage caused during the repair, I feel like I am being pressured into paying even more money to correct an issue that did not exist before I handed over my device. To make matters worse, my mother even came in personally to explain that I am disabled and currently dealing with a broken arm. Having access to a reliable phone is extremely important for me in case I need assistance or have an emergency. While they did provide me with an old loaner iPhone, it is nowhere near comparable to the value or functionality of the phone that was damaged. The reason this review is currently 2 stars instead of 1 is because I have had positive experiences with the owner in the past, and they are at least attempting to address the issue. UPDATE AS OF 5/11/2026: Today at 1:34 PM, I called simply to ask when my phone would be ready. Instead of receiving a professional update, I was yelled at by the employee, who sarcastically asked me if he was "a FedEx driver" and repeatedly acted as though the delays and situation were somehow my fault. At no point did I damage my own device after repair. The additional issues with the phone occurred while it was in their possession. I understand that shipping delays can happen, but taking that frustration out on a paying customer is completely unacceptable. I remained patient throughout this process, even after my phone was returned to me with additional damage, but the way I was spoken to today crossed a line entirely. Because of the way this situation has been handled and because of the unprofessional behavior shown toward me today, I will no longer be changing or removing this review regardless of the final outcome.
