    I had one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had at the AT&T store on Olympic Blvd in Walnut…read moreCreek, and it happened right before Christmas. I ordered an Apple Watch SE with a new line as a Christmas gift for our son. My husband, Andrew (the account holder), went to this store on December 23rd for pickup and waited over an hour. He was told the watch could not be released unless he was added as an authorized user. While he waited in the store, I spent over 45 minutes trying to add him online (during peak holiday errands). The website was extremely difficult to navigate, and the sales rep refused to speak with me by phone to help resolve it. Andrew ultimately left without the watch. The next morning (Christmas Eve), I was able to successfully add him as an authorized user exactly per AT&T's instructions and even sent him back with my physical ID to avoid any confusion. He again spent over an hour, paid for parking both days, and dealt with holiday chaos in downtown Walnut Creek only to be told they still would not release the watch and would not explain why. Later, we were informed our account had been flagged for fraud. This accusation was shocking and insulting. We have been AT&T customers for over 10 years, all services (3 wireless lines, internet, DirectTV) are through AT&T, and our account is in good standing. Even store staff admitted they didn't understand why the account was flagged. I returned in person on December 26th with my ID and spoke with store management. The store manager Damian who was timid, evasive, and unable to explain anything clearly. Basically talked in circles wasting my time. I was eventually put on the phone with AT&T's fraud department and told the account was flagged because my husbands Social Security number is on the account and not mine which makes no sense since he is the account holder and was physically present in the store twice. No one asked him any verification questions, and no one attempted to contact us to confirm our order. As a result of this incompetence, our son had no Christmas gift, and we were falsely treated as suspicious customers instead of long-term loyal ones. This store demonstrated poor training, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. Accusing customers of fraud without explanation or verification is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone against relying on this location for time-sensitive purchases or holiday gifts.

It was a mess, and both Tier 1 and Tier 2 Apple phone support wasn't helping. Nyasha stepped in with patience, kindness, and a ton of expertise. Not only was he fantastic with customer service, but he actually solved every problem. He's clearly sharp and has a wealth of knowledge--it made all the difference. His patience and professionalism kept me calm in an extremely stressful situation. The store itself is bright, well-maintained, and full of helpful people. I've also seen some of their classes, and the instructors are fantastic and enthusiastic. After this experience, I'll definitely be choosing this particular Apple Store whenever I need anything Apple-related. Thank you Nyasha for your professionalism, courtesy and care!

    The genius techs need more training ! Brought my daughter's…read morephone to gave a battery replaced, a 2 hour process took 4 hours . They broke the back glass . Of course fixed it . No one mentioned while we were waiting why it took so long. I also brought my phone in for a battery replacement . The tech broke the internal part, they ordered a new part , when back to have it fixed . They didn't fix it and now i have a phone with lines on the screen also and connection issues . They told me they will order a phone to replace it . So now i have a phone , not all my info can be downloaded . They dis a hard reset . Compensation - comp cover . Pathetic Never bringing a phone to walnut creek again !

And some people need more help than others. So try to be patient. And they do not work miracles, so keep your expectations reasonable. I've been to the store on Crescent Dr a few times in the last few months to help with orders and tech support. Each time I was seen within a few minutes. On two occasions I had the pleasure of working with Julie. She's great. Friendly, very knowledgeable and efficient. The store is lucky to have her.

Then, we went back in to drop off the trade in and was helped by someone that turned us away and told us to go directly to UPS, even though the email said to drop the phone off at the store. Then UPS turned us away because we didn't have the right information. Finally someone explained that their system was down and walked us over to UPS with the right code. This isn't my first time with issues in service quality and accuracy with Verizon. The Martinez location that closed down was also disruptive and caused extra work for us after the sale was made.

    Tried calling store with a question about computer printer repair…read more 15 minutes later the new AI answering program would not/ could not let me connect I went to store in person ( faster) I asked a Customer service agent about printer repairs at their big repair desk He pointed and said get in line there I did After waiting in line 10 minutes later the geek squad repair guy asked me what I wanted I told him He said "We don't repair printers " I told him the Customer Service guy told me to get in line after I said I wanted my printer repaired He looked at me, shrugged his shoulders, and walked away I ask the customer service guy for the manager to make a complaint 15 minutes later, a woman walks up, does not identify herself as the manager, and he asks me what I want I told her about the Customer Service guy and the repair guy She says you should've called first I told her I tried and she said everyone in the store knows you can't call into the store for help. It's a corporate decision. We have nothing to do with it. She said the division managers have all complained to the store manager about the AI voice, but nothing is being done ever because of a corporate decision I told her YELP recommended this store for Repairs and she said sorry I asked her if she could tell me where I could get my printer repaired and she said no I can't.
