If you have an iphone, one of your biggest issues is your battery draining. When my lil man's phone was draining by 20% in less than 15 minutes, I knew it was time for him to get a new phone. When we got to AT&T we found out he wasn't qualified for an upgrade. Plan B...fix his battery and pronto since I didn't want him getting in trouble with his girlfriend for not texting her back right away...yup I'm an awesome mama. Haha. Anyways, pulling out my own iphone and searching on yelp for iphone repair stores in the Contra Costa area was harder than I thought. I called several places and all of them went straight to voicemail. I left a voicemail at several companies and this company was the first to get back to me. The cost of battery replacement and diagnosis for an iphone 4S was $40 and it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. So on our way there. I seriously thought I was in the wrong area, since the shop is actually someone's apartment and the technician will meet you at the front of the entrance. I handed him the phone and he ran off. No joking when I say he RAN OFF!! He was booking like he stole something or was running away from the cops. It was hilarious. We started joking around and saying, there goes your phone, never to return. Trust me we thought this company was sketchy and the phone would not come back to us or it would even be worse. After 10-15 minutes. The technician came back with a brand new battery and added a screen protector at no extra charge. I am proud to say the phone is working great now. This is when the terms "Don't judge a book by its cover". The owner of the company who called me back was very courteous and the technician was super nice. He wasn't upset that we were running 20 minutes behind. He said "no rush, drive safely". I thought that was really nice. I can't give it a full 5 stars since their competitors are charging $30 for the same service and some have a brick and mortar location. Nonetheless, they did a great job. read more

Unprofessional. I wasted my whole morning trying to get my phone fixed, and despite their posted hours, they are not available, nor do they tell you that an appointment is required, so I ended up at an address that is actually a condo complex with no phone to contact them, and I was unable to work that day because I had such a small window to get my phone fixed for work. After the great reviews I read here I wanted to have them fix my phone. Three tries later, it's still broken. 1st attempt - they only have one screen that matches the color, but it's defective. Happens. They're getting more following day, so I make appointment for that day. 2nd attempt - I couldn't make it the following day, so husband reschedules for next day. I get there, call both numbers I have available couple times with no answer. I wait for about half hour & go home. I get a callback after couple hours. She apologizes & offers to come to me the next day, free of charge for that. All right, great. 3rd attempt - I wait & wait & wait at home for a call or text, that she's either on her way or yet another reschedule. No luck. The price offered was great, but I think I'm going to pay that extra cash & have it fixed at actual store. read more

Came in really last minute to have my iPhone 6s Plus repaired, as soon as I came in they took my phone right away and went straight to work! My experience keeps getting worse. I am so upset! After they incorrectly installed my screen I took the phone to the apple store and foujd out that apple can't fix my phone because they don't use original apple parts. Since they opened up my phone apple wouldn't work on my phone and they voided my warranty...thanks a lot ..I had a cracked screen which was fixable now I have to buy a new phone. After dropping my phone thousands of times, it broke pretty bad. The back and front screen were in pieces. Little pieces of glass were falling everywhere. It was a mess. I started calling people to find someone to fix it and the quotes were pretty high. I could just upgrade my plan and get a new iphone for the same price! So I decided to buy the screens and fix the phone myself. Big mistake! Almost four hours later and a big headache, I was finishing putting it together and one of the chips broke when I was try to reattach it. I also messed up a few screws, and missed a bunch of them. They are very very tinny! Then I finally gave up. The front screen were useful anymore since the chip was broken so I decided to give one more try to find someone to fix it. Luckily i found this ad here on yelp. These people were awesome!!!! I contacted them in a very indecent hour and they still got back to me and they were very friendly. We met up next morning and they had the phone ready for me very quickly and even put a very nice screen protector. They were very efficient, friendly and professional. Have been trying to get my screen repaired for a couple days now. First they didn't answer. After calling two times they answered and said they didn't have time. Told me to call the following day. Then the following day, they don't have any screens in stock in any color. Told me to call the following day as they were getting a shipment in. Then they don't answer. Now it's Sunday and I got ahold of someone who said to come around 6. After getting lost and my phone calls ignored all day, I couldn't find the building. I initally broke my iphone 5s screen and they did not have the white screen to replace it, instead they put a temp black one on until their shipment came in of white LCD screens so I would not damage my phone. In the meantime I could not believe but I broke the screen again. Their shipment came in and they replaced the black screen with the white screen, I was ready to pay for 2 screens and they only charged me for 1. The workmanship is good, the turn around time is fast, same day service, their price is better than most. My son dropped his iphone and broke the on/off button at the top of the phone. Called iFix on a Saturday. He determined the button needed to be replaced, but he did not have the part in stock. Very professional and an expert (and a fast one too) in phone repair. I had an appointment with Mina at 5 today and when I got to my car, it wouldn't start. My iPhone 5 screen wouldn't illuminate a few weeks after someone else replaced the screen. I called Mina on a Saturday afternoon and he went out of his way to fit me in. I came in thinking my phone was going to be $80 to fix, ended up being $110. Which was my fault since I thought my iphone was a 5 when it was actually a 6. When I called to make the appointment I specifically asked the lady if it came with a free screen protector and she said yes... Unfortunately this was not the case and he told me I'd have to pay another 15 dollars for it. You can get a tempered glass screen on Amazon for 5 bucks so I didn't bother... I assumed since it was a business run from his house I could get a cheaper price but I could have just gone to an actual store for the same exact price PLUS a complementary screen protector so I was a bit upset. I couldn't find his exact location for a while so I was quite a bit late, and he didn't seem to mind which i really appreciated, I felt pretty bad. All in all, he did a good job on the phone but for the price id rather go to an actual UPDATE: Unfortunately I didn't notice until today but there is a hairline crack in between the phone screen and the back of the phone right where the sound button is. I didn't notice till now because the light actually shows through the small crack. Ill be posting a picture to show and I'll be calling tomorrow to see if they will give me a new one.
