    It is that time. Quality/Quantity - I guess I am consistent; I am doing an update of this location annually, lol. And they are consistent in service also. Still my favorite Apple store in both states that we frequent. The team here is just better! And today was no different. Ambiance - Beautiful location; it still looks new. Huge location. The Genius Bar is located in the back. I suggest going directly there, maybe even entering from the back to save time. The people in the front are there to sell. But today, it is time for me to get a new CPU. After studying it online, I wanted real personal advice. In conclusion, she is going to save me $200 because I talked with her. I forgot that I can custom make the CPU rather than buying the stock ones with more stuff that I do NOT need. Thank you! Service - 5 stars; I wish I remembered her name as she deserves credit! Price - Expensive, but worth it for safety and security. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1976; wish I bought your stock then. I wish I never sold your stock...

    So many employees standing around, yet nobody who can simply intake my MacBook Pro for the scheduled repair? Had to wait over 10 minutes for a technician. Ridiculous.

    Apple Stores are tricky. If you walk in hoping for a repair, an AppleCare claim, or a refund, nine times out of ten you are going to leave frustrated. Last time I came into the Emeryville store with my phone still under AppleCare, I figured I would get a quick replacement. Instead, I was stuck there almost four hours while they transferred data, checked for water damage, ran diagnostics, and did every preliminary step they could think of. Painful. And honestly, I think that Emeryville store just suffers because it is too close to Oakland and their service has always felt hit or miss. This time I went to the Apple Store at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek and the difference was night and day. I walked in already knowing which iPhone I wanted, no appointment needed, and within minutes I was walking out with it. Service was smooth, no attitude, no wait. Even though I did catch a couple sideways looks, probably because they do not see too many people like me out there, the overall experience was much better. The store itself is clean and minimal like always, but the real win is how much easier everything feels when you treat it like an in and out mission. Go in, grab what you want, swipe or drop the cash, and you are back out the door. That is the only way to have a good Apple Store trip. I doubt I will ever bother with Emeryville again.

    i came in to check their deals for these holidays coming up. i specifically looked at their new iPhone, and staff was great. i booked appointment for future date, and ill be set with new phone

    Although my technician was friendly, my request to have the MacBook replaced was not met. Only the display got replaced and the trackpad as well but when I brought up the issue with the gap and bent top-case, I was denied a replacement. Only then when I picked it back up and took it home under the repairs of AppleCare+, after turning the laptop on and off the screen never turned back on. I took it back to Apple that same night and I had to pay another $99 as the first case already closed out. Because of the first technician not informing me that I could have the top-case replaced as well, I had to pay another $99. I'm a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran transitioning into the civilian sector and am trying to get service for my school laptop. Bad experience with conflicting information. Wasted more money and losing lots of time.

    Yes they do and they are super helpful. I am sure you can get in on the weeks pretty fast maybe wait a little more on the weekends but yes they do take walk ins

    I had one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had at the AT&T store on Olympic Blvd in Walnut…read moreCreek, and it happened right before Christmas. I ordered an Apple Watch SE with a new line as a Christmas gift for our son. My husband, Andrew (the account holder), went to this store on December 23rd for pickup and waited over an hour. He was told the watch could not be released unless he was added as an authorized user. While he waited in the store, I spent over 45 minutes trying to add him online (during peak holiday errands). The website was extremely difficult to navigate, and the sales rep refused to speak with me by phone to help resolve it. Andrew ultimately left without the watch. The next morning (Christmas Eve), I was able to successfully add him as an authorized user exactly per AT&T's instructions and even sent him back with my physical ID to avoid any confusion. He again spent over an hour, paid for parking both days, and dealt with holiday chaos in downtown Walnut Creek only to be told they still would not release the watch and would not explain why. Later, we were informed our account had been flagged for fraud. This accusation was shocking and insulting. We have been AT&T customers for over 10 years, all services (3 wireless lines, internet, DirectTV) are through AT&T, and our account is in good standing. Even store staff admitted they didn't understand why the account was flagged. I returned in person on December 26th with my ID and spoke with store management. The store manager Damian who was timid, evasive, and unable to explain anything clearly. Basically talked in circles wasting my time. I was eventually put on the phone with AT&T's fraud department and told the account was flagged because my husbands Social Security number is on the account and not mine which makes no sense since he is the account holder and was physically present in the store twice. No one asked him any verification questions, and no one attempted to contact us to confirm our order. As a result of this incompetence, our son had no Christmas gift, and we were falsely treated as suspicious customers instead of long-term loyal ones. This store demonstrated poor training, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. Accusing customers of fraud without explanation or verification is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone against relying on this location for time-sensitive purchases or holiday gifts.

And some people need more help than others. So try to be patient. And they do not work miracles, so keep your expectations reasonable. I've been to the store on Crescent Dr a few times in the last few months to help with orders and tech support. Each time I was seen within a few minutes. Then UPS turned us away because we didn't have the right information. Finally someone explained that their system was down and walked us over to UPS with the right code. This isn't my first time with issues in service quality and accuracy with Verizon. The Martinez location that closed down was also disruptive and caused extra work for us after the sale was made.

It's a corporate decision. We have nothing to do with it. She said the division managers have all complained to the store manager about the AI voice, but nothing is being done ever because of a corporate decision I told her YELP recommended this store for Repairs and she said sorry I asked her if she could tell me where I could get my printer repaired and she said no I can't.
