Don't bother showing up at 10:00 when they allegedly open. Twice I've been there before opening and they open way past 10. The employees will see customers waiting to get in at the alleged opening time and they just go hide in the back room. The first time an armored security truck came and they were forced to open the door but then shut it back up despite it being past 10:30. My advice is take your money elsewhere. read more

I have mixed emotions on this store. I have been using this store since it has been built (quite a while ago). They are usually pretty fast and most of the employees know what they are doing. Gerry is awesome and will always be my "Go To Guy". There is an employee there named Shawn, he is very rude and couldn't or wouldn't help me. He told me to call Verizon's customer service for help. Also he refused to put my screen protector on that I bought online. He said he wasn't allowed to but Gerry did it perfectly. There were two other people in the store looking for a phone case. Shawn was trying to convince them to buy one. He was pressuring them. They didn't really like anything they saw so I told them to try eBay. eBay has actually been recommended to me for phone cases by another employee at the store. He then got into my personal space and basically yelled at me. I am need to go back to that store but I don't want to see Shawn. I will only go back to that Verizon if Shawn is gone and Gerry is there. read more

Ordered a new iPhone 11 Pro 2 weeks ago and was assured it would arrive in 2 business days and they would call me. 4 days later I called the store to find out about the status of my phone order and they inform me that the guy that helped me didn't actually input my order. Okay, mistakes happen. I tell them ok I still want the phone and they order again. A week and a half later I stop by the store to see why I haven't heard from them and after promising me they have my phone, they admit 20 min later they only have the 512mb and not the 256mb I ordered. The only compensation I was offered for my trouble was a screen protector. A screen protector?!? Wow, how generous. I left the store and ordered the phone directly from Verizon online which is what I should have done in the first place. Now my phone will actually arrive for real in 2 days. What is the point having actual workers in the Verizon store? To sell cases? Save yourself the trouble and just do everything online. The process is exactly the same, just done correctly. Just bought 3 phones. Haile M seemed nice enough, but scammed me out of installed screen protector, liquid glass, protection plans, and extra eSIM. Haile M never asked me to pay extra for these things. Called Verizon and was able to cancel the protection plan and extra eSIM. However, the $500 screen protector and liquid glass are non-refundable. Shady team members is an understatement! Steven and Emanuel did not provide a receipt for my transaction so I called corporate, easy to find the number through their website and they happily emailed me a copy of the receipt. Emmanuel and Steven told me it would be emailed which it never was and that they weren't able to print it (didn't sit right with me) so I had to call. They seemed suspicious since I was "getting the manager special" and left without signing nothing. Good thing I followed my gut, l've added a picture of the things they charged me for. Apparently, I needed 3 pop sockets, glass cleaner, disinfecting wipes a case none of which I left the store with but was included in my receipt. Made me wonder their inventory audit must be way off or they're simply taking those items for themselves while charging customers for them. Anyways, went back a few days later showed the receipt to Steven ( manager with the beard) didn't even seem shocked nor apologized but "fixed" my transaction. This will be reported for the Better Business Bureau and am shocked the district manager and corporate have these type of employees doing business. While being in the store I saw a few elderly customers in the store and could only imagine they as well are being taken advantage of! Stay away from this store! read more

This used to be my store. I will never do business with them again. I have bought 2 I-Phones there, and went there for my third one. Bernard, I thought, was giving me a good deal. But he started throwing accessories into a bag. I asked him what was happening, and he told me these items were all included with the phone purchase. Then I asked him if the store still included a free case, and 3 free screen protectors, with the purchase of a new phone. He said yes. Then I paid him $230, knowing that there were always change over fees, taxes, etc. I told him I wanted no phone protection plan, I was very clear that I have that with my credit card. He didn't give me a receipt, he said he would email it. He entered my email address incorrectly, and I didn't get it. I returned to the store, and talked to John. I told him I didn't get the receipt, and he checked. He emailed me a copy. It took me a couple days to look at it. Bernard charged me for everything, case, screen protector, adapter, cleaners, that I never asked for, and that he had told me were free with the phone. He had also made mistakes to the plan I wanted. I called John, and he texted me back that he would call me the next day. That didn't happen. I have returned to the store four times, and even at times that employees had told me that he would be there. They lied to me, snuck behind me and stole my wallet, and took what they could get. I will never set foot in not only this Verizon, but one of the many that John apparently manages. You better look at your receipt folks. And don't let them email it, they have a printer. Look carefully at it before you sign for any amount. $31.49 for an adapter. $45 for a screen protector. $50 dollars for a case. Not only did I not ask for these items, the prices are ridiculous. Seems like every time we get a new phone, the process becomes as involved as buying a new car. The only bright spot in this experience was Bernard, the employee that helped us through the process. I had come in earlier to order a new iPhone for my daughter for Christmas. The employee that helped me (let's call him Not Bernard) did NOT explain to me that it would be impossible to take the phone home, not yet activated, so we could wrap it and let her open it on Xmas morning. (The plan was to bring the phone back after Xmas, with her phone to trade in.) I did mention this plan while putting in the order. Not Bernard also sold us the wrong size screen protector and case. Anyhow, the phone was ordered. When I came back a couple days later to pick it up, Bernard was the unfortunate employee who had to burst the xmas gift bubble. Knowing there wasn't much I could do, I decided to just bring my daughter back that afternoon and give her the phone early. So, we came back that evening and Bernard helped us again. We had to wait approximately 30 min to be helped- which wasn't Bernard's fault. He was the only employee working. (I understand wanting to save on labor costs, but this just isn't safe.) It was then that we realized the case and screen protector was the wrong size. Bernard took care of everything. He was also very patient in describing the data transfer process- which frankly, never makes total sense to me. He explained that the wifi in the store wasn't the greatest and we would have better luck at home. No problem. When we tried again at home, the process failed a few times before we got an error message stating there wasn't enough storage on the new phone. Not Bernard hadn't inquired about the GB size when we ordered. Perhaps I just should've known, but it seems to me it would be a pretty basic question. (Makes me wonder if he was simply concerned with making the order, not whether I'd be satisfied with the end result.) Back to the store we went the following day. Again, Bernard was super helpful. He came up with another solution- expanding her cloud size to make up for the difference. A few moments later her contacts and pics starting populating on the new phone. It was a frustrating experience, but Bernard got us through it successfully. read more

Shawn is seriously one of the worst people I have ever talked to. Talk about being condescending and talking down to you as if you're stupid. 2 people before us cussed him out before we even walked in and told Steven they don't like his attitude. Frankly, I don't like it either. He signed us up to add a line to our plan and said he was gonna thrown in a bunch of free stuff cuz he liked us as people. Lol ended up being a load of lies, he said he would email us the receipt, and he didn't. We called Steven to email us the receipt and Shawn ended up racking up a 200 bill with "free" stuff and said it was just taxes. We couldn't confirm this until we got the receipt an hour later. Then! We came back an hour later and he called us saying he "didn't think it was COOL of us" to wanna return the phone and cancel everything he tried to sign us up for. Updated review. So the 5 stars is only for Steven. I have been emailing the regional manager almost every other day with no response and when I would go in, I kept being told he was going to get back to me. I was even told that the manager above him had been brought into the matter. Yesterday, they even said they had just spoken with him and he would be calling me right away. Never happened. Dwayne there regional manager is horrible! I am in an administrative position and under no circumstances would I ever consider not returning someone's call or email within 1 business day esp. with the accusations that I had stated. I went in again today in person and Steven was there and told me that if he had known, he would have corrected the issue right away. He admitted that what I had been charged was wrong and that I should have been getting the refund every month on my bill for the phone I turned in. He contacted Verizon right then and there and that issue was handled. He also dealt with the issue of the incorrect billing. He had been reprimanded regarding the incident but not allowed to speak with me. If they had just from the beginning, given him my name and phone number, the entire issue would have been handled quickly by him instead of over 6 weeks later. I appreciate Steven's honesty and the fact that he handled the issue. It is unfortunate that they have such a horrible general manager above them. read more

Excellent customer should be recognized. I made a quick stop into the verizon store because my I Phone was not charging. Now normally what you get is the big upgrade sell , which is where the original store associate was going. I was also told by the original store associate if I did not know my 4 degit verizon code ( so how many of you know your verizon 4 degit code?) I would have to go accross the street to the verizon corrporate store , I was quickly becoming annoyed when another store associate ( Steven) heard what going on he quickly stepped in . A couple of simple questions and what do you know he had my entire account in front of him. He then asked what was the issue with the phone , I explained the issue. Steven asked if I could give him a minute. Steven took my phone in the back of the store , 5 minutes later he returned my phone completly repaired. Steven explained that he used to repair phones. Steven quickly turned what could've been a not so good store experience into a fantastic experience. So these 5 stars are for Steven and his attention to customer service . read more

After waiting hours to replace my phone and even leaving an hour for dinner and then waiting another hour because their system wasn't working correctly, when when I asked to use their restroom, the young associate assisting the manager,gave me the Verizon speech about using a restroom next-door or walking to Starbucks. And this is after walking across the parking lot to the bank and getting cash out because their system wasn't working and thought that that would speed things up... really? I really hoped that they would overlook their restroom policy since I had spent from 2:15 PM to 7 PM with a one hour break for dinner because their system wasn't working properly. I would not even give one star review if I did not have to. I purchased a new phone for my grand daughter 4 months ago, added a new line to my account and while I was there they said I could get a phone equal to or less than the iPhone 12 Pro Max of which I bought her. I figured why not if it's free. They said they would even give me 100.00 for my phone if I traded it in. After 3 hours of setting up phones and waiting in line we were ready to walk out the door. They said their printer was not working so they would not be able to give me a receipt. First time that has ever happened to me. Well, stupid me trusted them. Should have known they work on commission....anyhow, they told me to wait 2 months for billing to check on my account. To my annoyance I found they had not given me the phone for free, nor given me the 100.00 credit. So, I called customer service. They said the only deal that was happening at the time was an 800.00 credit. That was not what they had told me. But they said rest assured we will fix it...nothing was fixed, my bill still shows I am being charged 33.66 with a 23.00 credit. How does this represent free? Meanwhile, my phone stopped working, so I went back in to the store. All different people there, they said I for sure needed a new phone and they could not help me but to call this number. I called the number and they said they could not help me that the store should have marked my file and completed a tag. I told them I was not going back to the store and I needed my phone to work. I should not have to go back and forth. Not my problem if they employee did not do what they said. So, I was placed on hold for another 40 minutes and explained my situation again only to have the person tell me they would not be able to help me. I asked for a manager who told me it would take 5-7 days for a new phone but I needed to go back to the store so they could create a tag. I told him I was not going back there to stand in line again. So, he said he would send me a new phone. I never received the phone. UGH!!!!!!!! SO, I have a phone that did not work and they did not care. I took my iPhone to the Apple store and they took care of it right away. The speaker was broken. Now, I have a phone that works, but I still am paying for a phone that was supposed to be free. BE CAREFUL don't take their word for it if they don't give you a receipt for a stupid reason. I am so mad right now. I wrote a letter to corporate...and the retail store I bought from. I also called the store to talk to a manager and did this twice...they said they would have the manager call me back...never received a call. I ordered 3 phones from Verizon online. 2 were available at the Verizon Victoria Gardens location. I walked in the store, gave them my ID and they literally gave me my phone within 3 minutes. Unfortunately, my other phone I ordered was at this GoWireless location in Upland. I walked in and had a totally different experience. Waited 2 hours to get my phone. First because "their system was down", second because "their inventory was messed up", and a bunch of other reasons that weren't helpful to me. On top of this, there were a bunch of other people waiting there for as long as I was. Not sure if they are understaffed or what, but this location needs help - as in training, staff and more. I'd suggest going to an actual Verizon location. Hate leaving bad reviews but this was deserved. read more
