I don't know that I would recommend any Verizon store, but especially not this one. I came in to pick up my online order and was told there was a "system outage" that meant they couldn't process my original order, but that they could still create a new order. I should have left then because it seemed sus, but I needed my phone before the Thanksgiving holiday. I waited 30 minutes to go through the entire purchase process again. They said that the $80 I paid on the original order would automatically be cancelled and refunded. Not the case. I was charged on my credit card, which I used on the new order, and again on my monthly bill. I didn't want insurance. I told the lady this like ten times. She brings her I assume manager into the conversation who immediately starts with "I heard you don't want the insurance?". Just let me buy this phone and leave, I don't want your insurance. Then my hotspot wasn't activated on my new phone, which I would have expected to be transferred from my old phone. Why else does this process take so long? Stay away from this joke of a store. Instead of assisting client and help finding a solution, assist manager was quick to point you in the direction of self completion. I'm all in with upselling, connecting, building rapport and getting reward with commission. However, in this situation, assistant manager George was too busy on his phone, sitting in a hide away chair instead of assisting and getting to the bottom of an order error. He was more concerned f cancelling orders and re-entry. If your leaders DONT lead by example how are you expecting your direct reports to do so. Get off your phone, assist, ask discovery questions to get involved and help find a solution. You're more likely to get an upsell or benefit if you he'll resolve first. This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had with Verizon. I've been a customer for 30 years, yet I have to chase down a business representative just to make simple changes to my account. I was directed to work with Rudy, and since October I've left multiple calls, messages, and texts with zero response. I even visited the branch today--he was in the back and had another associate tell me he'd 'call in a day or so,' but he wouldn't even come out to speak with me. Completely unacceptable. Horrible customer service! The associate (female) was very rude nd argumentative from the start ns in front of the manager Jerry. The associate asked that I wait while she WENT TO THE BACK (for who knows what). When I asked thr manager why did it require her to go to the back he said he wasn't sure and we could ask her when she returned. When. I did she was quite rude answering that she told it would take 5 mind. I responded that I wasn't questioning the time but rather why could she not access my account while sitting in front of me. She then asked the manager to help me...the question is why was she unable to help me??? Was it because I asked a question she couldn't answer or because she didn't want to let someone know she didn't know what to do or was it because of some racial bias that she holds??? Looking at the reviews this place has it is easy to see the staff is in need of intense training. Do not upgrade if you don't have to-by the phone outright, you will be tied to Verizon for 36 months. Once you trade in and change your mind about the device they forget to tell you that you can pay the device out right but they are no longer going to give you your device back or any credit so now you cannot go anywhere else to upgrade and there is a restocking fee for the items returned. They specifically told me they make their money off of Services and perks that are added on depending on your plans and upgrades. The additional lines are not free you have to pay an activation, and then monthly add-ons. I wish I had not gone back to them I already had gone beyond my 36 months...suckered into going back because they now offer internet. read more

My Ex and I went into this store to switch to Verizon. Tired of Metro service dropping calls, spotty service and feeling uneasy not have service in certain parts of the state I lived in now for school. However, I did some research and looked online for one of the Black Friday Deals for new customers. I thought they would honor this they did not. Excited that I would be getting a new Google Pixel 7 Pro and we could get unlimited 5G service. Also Verizon Home Internet for $25 a month. The salesman put his address which by the way is a couple blocks from the store and looks up and says as smug as possible and said," Oh you can't get service at this location." I started to laugh, because I thought it was kidding and said, "The house is a couple blocks away. You're telling me that an address a couple blocks away from the store can't get Wi-Fi. Give me a break!" Definitely throwing shade. I started to laugh because how could someone that lives on foothill and center a couple blocks from the store not be eligible for service? Honestly, I don't think it matters whether you live a couple blocks away a few miles or another state away. Any address they put input is going to say no. You cannot get service because that makes no sense at all. Don't offer a promotion if you're not going to follow through with it. Not cool. Verizon Also, the salesman kept trying to add on little gizmos and gadgets that were unnecessary after you already spent a couple grand in there. I just thought it was petty trying to sell a special charger because the new Google Pixel Pro doesn't come with a proper charger to charge your phone, you have to use your old charger. Does that make any sense at all ? The phone does not come with a proper charger that has the right ports. I'm thinking this salesman doesn't know much about salesmanship. If he had any common sense he would have given us the chargers because that would ensure that we'd come back because we would remembered all that guy was really nice. He gave us a couple of chargers. Let's go back there !! As soon as home I went online and ordered wireless chargers because I'm not paying extra at that store for some charger that should already be included with $1,000 phone give me a break! I came to the Rancho Cucamonga location to exchange my sons 4G sim card from his old iPhone to a 5G one for his new one. The employee that helped me was very rude! Our account is listed in my wife's name. I am listed as an account manager on the account. He would not help us because his tablet was not saying I was an account manager despite me logging in to the Verizon website and showing him that I am an account manager as well as my son. I spoke to the manager and he was very rude as well. After awhile he refreshed his tablet and it showed I was an account manager after all. This was 30-45 mins later. He then said he could help us. Went to get the sim card only to come back and say their system was down and to come back tomorrow. Fuck that! I'm going to the Eastvale store to get it done. I'm never going to use this Verizon store EVER! They are rude there and don't know what they are doing. My advice is to go to another store instead. read more

The manager checked me and and told me someone would be with me soon. 30 mins later my name is called and the sales rep tells me the business rep is gone for the day and he can call me tomorrow when he comes in. I don't understand why I waited 30 minutes for nothing and the manager couldn't have explained this to me. Waste of time. Fast forward a week later and the business rep still never reached out. However, when the service member (Guillermo) realized we weren't going to be purchasing a new phone and were just switching plans, he couldn't answer any more of our questions as there were "other people ahead of us." He said he would come back to help us after he helped the other people ahead of us. In the meantime, another staff member came over asking if we had questions even though he was helping another party (he's the reason I'm giving two stars and not one, thank you Alberto!). When the original staff member came back he walked straight passed us to help the guy who came in after us. I asked if he can answer our question really quickly and he said another staff member would be helping us. We had one question. And he refused to answer it. When I followed up after he was done with the guy after us saying he had originally said he would come back to help us, he said he was really tied up now and someone else would help us. Came to this store when I found out Eric the manager transferred over here. He had helped me with all my needs with Verizon and helped me bundle and get my bill lower and have my plans run more to my usage with is more cost efficient for us. He actually fixes the problems he says he's going to fix. In one visit, about an hour long, he fixed my credits, changed my number, got all my lines activated, got me new accessories and screen protectors all installed and I didn't have to remind him of one thing as he went. He literally knocked them all out and remembered about the problems I went in for. STAY AWAY FROM VERIZON The staff at this store are sneaky, rude, and absolute liars. I went in the store with my roommate to pay her bill and MELINA convinced us that if I switched over from T-Mobile and joined a plan with my roommate, it would lower both of our monthly phone bills. She proceeded to tell me that they had a trade in offer going on. She told me I would receive $300 trade-in value to pay off my old phone with t-mobile. Upon switching, I had not heard anything about my phone being paid off through T-Mobile, so I reached out to the store only to find out that I had been lied to and misguided by our salesperson MELINA. Apparently, they do not "buy out" contracts or "pay off" phones from other companies. Instead, I was told the $300 I was promised would be discounted from my monthly bill over a period of 2 years. Melina did not explain this to me WHATSOEVER. Then, I was left to pay off my contract with T-Mobile - Almost $400 out of pocket. Who in their right mind would make that choice. I thought my contract with T-Mobile was going to be paid off. I was definitely misled and feel extremely taken advantage of. TO TOP THIS ALL OFF, the day we left the store after I switched to Verizon, I got a call from a private number and from a males voice on the other side of the phone, I was told "Hi, I work at Verizon and I got your number from your paperwork. Me and my coworker think you and your friend were super cute and we'd love to take you guys out sometime" HOW ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL NOT TO MENTION ILLEGAL. He stole my private information to try to date me. I was absolutely disgusted. I attempted to speak with management on multiple occasions. I told them about the deceit from salesperson Melina and the absolute unprofessionalism of 2 of their sales reps stealing my private information for personal gain. Management told me there was nothing they could do for me. I attempted to go to a different Verizon store to get answers and it was even less helpful. Now I'm stuck paying a monthly bill that is equivalent to what my T-Mobile bill was, when I was promised it would be lower and had to pay out off pocket nearly $400 to T-Mobile when I was promised it was going to be taken care of by Verizon. And the cherry on top, I feel unsafe that my private information is so easily stolen and no repercussions were made to make me feel safer. I dont like to admit this but, I have been a Verizon Customer for as long as cell phones have been around. I stay with them because of the coverage and basically no issues. From time to time people will talk about cheaper rates somewhere else, only to complan about dropped calls and other issues so I have stayed put. This is a big thank you to "V" at this store. I had such a horrible experience at the Brea store that I was about to call it quits after all these years. Basically went into that store and was told it would be a 2 hour wait. I understand being short staffed and sign of the times, but literally there was not a single customer in the store....not 1. I was in that store the night before and was told that if I come within the first couple hours there shouldnt be that long of a wait. I was purchasing a phone for mothers day for my elderly mom and I needed her phone there, so I brought her and my father both 80 and live 30-40 minutes away. So I then asked are there any appointments for today, and they said none until next week. That is unnacceptable and so I asked my parents to go home and I kept her phone. I work close to the Rancho Cucamonga location and I decided to give them a try. I honestly was not hopeful at all. I was greeted by "V" and I almost didnt want to tell her my experience as I thought she would think I was "one of those customers". But she listened intently. She took care of EVERYTHING. It was quick, exactly as stated, and such a pleasant experience. I think if Verizon wants to stay on the top of their game and not rest everything on having the best coverage they need to look at employees like "V" and promote them to a position where people within the organization can learn from servant leadership. My whole family has Verizon phones . I recently had an issue with my phone which I purchased through Verizon, in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I had to have it substituted with a new one since it wasn't charging anymore . This was about 8 months from my initial purchase . They told me to send the phone back to them within 5 days of the agreement , which I did using the UPS store nearby. It was all done and I kept my receipt . After about two weeks, I received a message saying to send the phone, and that I would be charged $ 500 if I failed to send it . I called Verizon , was on the phone for about 45 minutes , let them know about the problem . and they said they were waiting . A week later, I received another similar text , so I called them back. I was on the phone for another 40 minutes or so . They told me they received an empty package ...?!? I told them my husband had sent it ( without a doubt) and we still had the receipt , and that if UPS loses it or someone else at the factory's reception facility , it shouldn't be on us . They said they would investigate further and get back to me . After about 4 weeks I was debited $900 dollars . I called Verizon again and they looked into my case history and noticed nothing was done about it . They told me to wait another 5 days to a week and they would get back to me . Verizon's procedure and integrity is completely at fault . I find I have to pay $900 for their inefficiency and dishonesty . What I noticed about this company is that if you're buying, everyone runs after you , if you have an issue , no one cares . How can companies and their employees be so careless ..? Zero stars for the second time. I hadn't been able to access the internet with my data for weeks. After wasting hours daily on the phone with customer support and doing all of their instructions to check my settings and reset my network data multiple times, I was told that my plan was "old" and I needed a new plan. I switched to a new plan which did not help. Then I was told to go into the store to have them open the tray to check the SIM card because apparently mine was "old." I purchased my iPhone 14 two years ago from this store. At the store, a male employee refused to help me (I never even made it past a few steps into the store) and he said it was a problem with the tower (an outage) without even bothering to listen to me after I said I had a data issue. I called support again and they said there was no outage. They connected me again to several reps over the next several days who told me that I needed a better plan because, "data is prioritized and customers with a more expensive plan get better access to data and I was at the bottom of the barrel." Then I was told that the data traffic in my area is "congested." How can it be congested 24/7 even between the hours of midnight and 6am? Each rep also tried to sell me a protection plan to cover other devices of mine for $25. Why would I pay anything more when I was already paying for an unlimited data plan that doesn't work? Text also didn't work. The last rep I talked to in customer support said that my new plan was actually a platinum plan and she said to go back into the store for a replacement SIM or phone (my phone was covered). I went back to the store yesterday and had the most unpleasant interaction with an employee (I think her name was Olivia). She was so rude and condescending. She treated me like I was an idiot, repeatedly interrupted me in a chastising manner and maintained a look in her face as though she was thoroughly disgusted. Other employees were standing/sitting around because the store was nearly empty. The employee "helping" me popped in a different SIM card to test it, but I still had no data. She then said my only options were to purchase a new phone or take my phone to Apple because she said the problem was my iPhone. She said I wasn't entitled to a replacement phone and that I'd receive a $450 discount by trading in my barely 2yr old iPhone 14 Max but that I'd be charged the remainder cost of a new phone. I left and went to Cricket, got an unlimited data plan with a hotspot ON MY SAME PHONE for $30 cheaper than what my Verizon plan was and instantly had complete access to the internet with their plan. Cricket also honors the ACP program for low income families (Verizon does not) which lowers my new Cricket plan to $30 a month. The issue was absolutely a Verizon issue and NOT an issue with my phone. It's clear to me that unless I was going to purchase yet another, more expensive plan with Verizon or buy a new phone, Verizon had zero intention of providing me with service. I will never use Verizon again. I was a long-time customer. The female employee who treated me so rudely should not be a customer service agent. She had such a bad attitude and was hostile. I had a family member with me and they were also appalled at her behavior. Today is a holiday but tomorrow I'm going to call to request a refund for services not provided yet paid for and disconnect my number because it's useless, obviously, and Cricket gave me a new number for free. I would NOT recommend this corporate store on Foothill in Rancho Cucamonga to anyone based on how their employees treated me. In that past week, I have had to call/text/show up in person to speak to people to fix my service EVERY SINGLE DAY. I will lose data randomly, have no bars, when people try to call me it will say phone not in service, I cannot send texts through SMS nor through iMessage. When you try to speak to some tech "expert" through the phone they cannot understand what you are saying and will get confused, mainly due to the language barrier. Not only do their "experts" not know how to handle phones properly or how to fix their own service issues, instead of fixing the problem at hand they will try and upsell you. They will tell you to just "Get More Unlimited $10 little difference!" and try to tell how your service will be better so long as you pay more. It's a scam. They have options for their starter service plan but this service plan means you get no service and if you want better, pay more! Then, they will push the service issues by stating "you're by a busy freeway, unfortunately service can be spotty there." I am in a city smaller than LA and they can't provide good enough service? makes no sense. We got a surprise when we got our first bill and actually have to pay $10 a month for 24 months for an old model iPhone. When we went to the store they advised us "your best bet is to sell the phone, we can't help you or return it." After speaking to Brandon the manager he didn't want to hear our side of the story and only sided with his employee. Instead of asking what he can do to make things right he got very confrontational after we said he was worthless and dismissed himself from the conversation. Bought an IPhone 8+ last week. The salesperson sold me the Zagg Case (face shield) with it which is 30 dollars (around). He told me there's a lifetime warranty on the face shield protector before I paid for everything. After I paid for everything, he told me that for every replacement, it would be $5 and I would have to do it online or go to the kiosk at Victoria Gardens. I was kind of upset but in a rush so had to leave. I didn't get the name Of the salesperson but have had friends go to this store as well with a similar experience. Just shows their sales reps are hustlin haha. I know they need to sell shit, but never had an experience like this where they told me after I paid. If anyone has seen training day, Smiley woulda told me I got played like a fool, haha. When you need a new face shield, you need to pay for shipping and handling which is a little more than $5. If you go in person to the kiosk they charge 9 dollars! Was a complete rip off, I don't have the name of the sales rep, I wish I did. The products at the Verizon store are a complete rip off. Go on Amazon for accessories everyone, everything is cheaper and good quality. The face shield protectors are 3 for 6 dollars on amazon- they're all good quality too. don't buy verizon' overpriced, in store accessories. They'll say their accessories are top of the line but you can get them on amazon for 10-15 dollars cheaper. Not to mention, they didn't even have a sample display of any iPhone 8 phones. We came in because there is several issues we need to address on my business account which has over 10 lines! We were advised to visit a corporate store by a manager. However, upon walking in at the door, an employee basically turned us away because he said what we needed to do could be done over the phone with corporate and no one at the store can help. We didn't get a chance to really explain the issues we just mentioned business account and he stopped us and told us to just call corporate. My husband and I came here to switch from Sprint to Verizon. We were immediately greeted but was told there would be a wait. Ok that's fine since it's busy. The guy that helped us in the whole process I believe was Aron as that's what the receipt says. At first it was going good. He helped us save money and told us to save money on activation fees we can go and do it online. Which he did for us. We paid for the taxes of our phones and waited for the phones to be "ready for pickup". While this was going on he then walked away to help someone else. He seemed to be all over the place yesterday and not 100% into helping us. He was more interested in being off and being with his family. Which I totally get as it was Christmas Eve. But, please don't inconvenience us because you're going to leave. Well our phone numbers for some reason weren't transferring to the new phones. So, he said do you want to wait here until 4 or go home? So we could do it at home. Mind you it was only 30 minutes from 4 so we decided to go home because he said it'll take a couple hours to transfer. Well we waited and it wasn't working. Still. So, I called Verizon customer service and it took 1.5 hours to set everything up with them and she said he didn't do anything that he was supposed to in the store. He didn't put our pin in. Nothing. So poor people on the phone but it made us even more upset since we were in the store for 2 hours. I have never had an issue like that before. So since he didn't help us in the store it took time away from our families because we had to call and get it taken care of while he was spending his time with his family since we are no longer his problem. Is like if I own any of the devices which I don't my phone been paid off since 2020. Bro I have the 11 iPhone !! Scam is what they are they will do anything for you not to cancel. just so you can be paying them! for services that you don't even have!! I switch from September 28,2022 & till this day I'm getting bills from them. With the issue of me having 2 tablets which I only have one !! They have not solve the issue so I own them $429 !! So until they fix all this misunderstanding I'm over here been charged for service I don't even have or use !! They give me so much headache . I'm not rich to be wasting my money just like that .. FIRST TIME YELPING ANYTHING BUT THIS NEEDED TO BE SAID. The Manager Eric at the Verizon store was a jerk. I bought the New Galaxy 5g S10 on 7-10-2019 came back into the store on 7-11-2019 the next day to get a copy of a receipt from recent purchase same Associate, same manager Eric that help me the day before that remembered me by face and greet me. He even told me that he remember me from yesterday. Would not give me a copy of my receipt because I forgot my ID, asked if their was another way to validate my account information. I know in a perfect world everyone always have their ID on them. But things happen from time to time. If this guy didn't remember me for the previous day and I just came in off the street, I would have understood. I just hope this guy forget his ID and he meets himself on the other side of the counter. The whole time he scold me for being irresponsible for not having my ID. You should not be driving without an ID, I'm not losing my job because you don't have your information together.
