I am a new Onward customer and Gage provided excellent customer service when he installed my equipment to get my wifi set up last month. Gage arrived at the top of the 2 hour window I was given for his arrival. He was kind, professional and work quickly. He took the time to explain the Onward app, walked me through the features and answered all my questions. I felt set up for success by the time he left. Thank you Gage! As for the ACTUAL Onward service (wifi), when it works it's good. However, I am disappointed with the lack of range as it relates to the connectivity (wifi). I have gotten some improvement by using the app to "prioritize devices." I expected better as I purchased the highest quality option though. Hopefully this improves. read more

This review is for the quality of internet, not the quality of customer service, as the people who work there have been helpful - they just seem to be working at a horrible internet company. We have CONSTANT issues with connectivity. I'd say in the last month we have had an internet outage at least once a week - for hours on end. They blame the electric company for power outages but this last two times (twice in one week) we have not had a power outage. They don't answer the phone, they make you leave voicemails. Whoever is running this internet company also didn't tell anyone that they've switched names, so I'm not sure who we're even paying anymore! The service people have been very helpful, and I'm sure they're very frustrated as well; but the product is horrible. They are affordable, but I guess we get what we pay for. We'll be switching ASAP. read more

Service is mediocre and disconnects all the time. I have to cycle my router weekly. The Customer service is responsive.

If i could give this service zero stars i def would. I've been without internet this round since Thursday night intermittently and Friday completely out. I left an online message and a voicemail. Get a call today and the girl said they will send a tech out at 5:30pm but engineers have to review it before approving a tech. And engineer named Davis calls me and says ok we'll see how it plays out for a tech to come at 5. It's not almost 7pm and no tech. I've troubleshooted this and it comes down to the modem more than likely being defective. Direct Ethernet connection gets nothing, until i change the modem into bypass mode. The WiFi doesn't connect to anything. If i had other options i would def get away from onward. It's ridiculous how bad the connectivity is. read more

It used to be inyo and now it's Onward and the services has gone worse. I had inyo/onward for more than 2 years. The apartments nearby are using them too. The internet service was so slow (I had 1Gig). It kept turning on and off and I had to reset the router every time. I had to put a ticket multiple times out of the week because of this. I was getting frustrated. I called customer service to see if maybe they can check if it's my router. The guy came and found out that the internet has been restored so he did not even bother coming in and checking the router. He stated "one of your neighbors has been playing with the cord connected to your internet but it's been taken care of so you should not have anymore problem". I was bewildered by that statement but okay. After a few days, the internet started messing up again. It's not getting connected to my Resideo, ring doorbell and myQ garage. So I called customer service again and told them the problem. The audacity of the representative telling me that if he send a staff to see what's wrong, I could get charged. Why? I have wifi boosters throughout the house through my builder. This should not happen at all! Then he asked me if I have Ethernet cable to see if my internet really is not working. I don't have those cables! Then he said "I don't know what to tell you, it seemed like it's connected but it just have poor signal. Possibly because of where your house is located". Uhm excuse me? Poor customer service! Right there and then I replaced them with frontier and I never had problems then. They deserve 0 stars and they deserve to get out of business! read more

The worst. Don't use them seriously. Besides the awfully slow connection speeds for a two person household... they notified us of an outage taking "7 hours" which has turned into 3 days going on four without internet and they're saying they don't have a timeline for when it will be fixed ... really??? Have been using their service for almost 4 years now and the internet service is top notch. We have multiple devices in various rooms of our home with no buffering or download issues. This has been the most reliable internet we've had in our area. I've only had to call customer service once to finalize set up and they were professional, friendly and responsive. They send out emails regarding updates ahead of time if upgrades are being made in the area which allows for other accommodations to be made. However, most take place late nights/early mornings. So minimal affect to us. Highly recommend. read more

I'm writing this review as a customer that has been with Inyo Networks long before Onward was in the picture. We as a customer always fear that change can cause a slew of issues to the customer (like Verizon going to Frontier). However that hasn't been the case at all. In fact, the one thing that has impressed me most is their communication with the customer and secondly, their customer service. I've never seen an ISP send out communications to all their customers about network upgrades and letting customers know that they have a known issue and that they are working on it. How many times have you had your internet go down with the other guys, and wonder if it's your router, a cable or a computer of yours that has gone bad... a waste of time to troubleshoot something that is ok to begin with. The great thing here is that If there is a network issue, they shoot off an email to take the guess work out of it hence saving your time by not having to call them. So impressed with that! I'm a network admin where I work. I have 2 circuits from Inyo/Onward. Up time has been great. I am super impressed with their latency. This type of network is what I call a 'gamer's dream'. So you can only imagine what normal internet surfing and streaming will do. Bottom line, if Inyo/Onward is available in your area, you've scored! If not, hopefully they will continue to expand into other areas where the other ISP's are at. read more

Gage at onward is the man. I had an issue w my service today and spoke to a few folks over the phone to try to resolve the issue. They ended up sending gage out for the fix. He fixed the issues in minutes. Not to mention this is not the first time gage has been to my house to fix an issue. Gage is knowledgeable and very respectful. If you ever have issues, hope you get gage! read more

Adrien was extremely knowledgeable and set up my internet in about 15 min. Even showed me how to change the password and ID immediatly.

This company is the worst. Cancelled service and they state 60 days to issue a refund. Now it's going on 90 days and still no refund. Called three times. Supposedly they escalated it twice. Internet service is the worst I have ever had and is always intermittent. The only reason they have business is because it is one of two providers in the area. read more

Punctual friendly and timely. Not a negative thing to say in the least. Highly recommended.

Very Unreliable, and I'm being nice. I work from home & have been in important VP meetings and bam! Signal goes red and I lose connectivity. It happens at the most inopportune time. And forget about calling support. They claim to have 24/7 support, however I was first in the call queue and waited 15 min, only to figure out no one was ever going to answer. Additionally, the website said to send an email with your issue for troubleshooting...huh??? I guess that's the 24/7 support. They are hard to get in touch with. You're better off going up on your roof with a soup can and string to get stable connectivity. I really tried to stay, because they have nice customer service, but their product of internet access stinks! read more
