George and Rigo were great. Showed up right when expected and made sure to stick around until we knew how everything worked. They even noticed that one of the sensors was operational, but could work for us better and offered to come back and replace it with a sensor we could monitor from a smartphone. George and Rigo were polite and competent (even though we had some password problems on our end logging into our Apple account) Jonathan was highly professional during the initial consultation, he listened to our exact needs and didn't try to 'hard sell' stuff we did not need. Overall a great experience we highly recommend Mijac alarm. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received!!! Mike was the worst sales rep I have ever met! He was so disrespectful. He came to my house asking if I wanted their services and I was interested because the previous owners recommended them. Since he stepped inside he was just talking negative about other alarm companies instead of telling me the good benefits their company offered. The worst thing was when I gave him three names of the people that would be on my emergency contact list and he said "I know how to spell all of these FREAKING MEXICAN NAMES" I was in shock but I stayed quiet. Then when he called me the next day to ask if I was ready to sign with them I said "no thanks, we decided to go with someone else" he replied "OK DO WHATEVER YOU WANT" and hung up! read more

Apparently Mijac sold to Bay View Alarm in Concrdia California- not familiar at all with my system and told I should have gotten a letter! No letter. No employees from Mijac in Rancho Cucamonga were kept, yet no one is familiar with my system - no help Ugh - terrible way to transition customers of 30 + years . Shame on Mijac. read more

Mijac Alarm - Mijac Alarm protecting my Home and Family! - Security Systems Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

I was trying to get out of a contract with another alarm company that was providing horrible customer service. I called Mijac with tons of questions. Even though it became clear that I was not going to be able to get out of the contract, the owner at Mijac was willing to help me figure out numerous issues over the course of several phone calls. These days it is extremely difficult to find people and businesses that are this helpful and honest. I really appreciate Mijac and will be back as soon as I can. read more

I have now been with vivant for 2 years and I must say I'm sorry I didn't cancel Mijac a long time ago. Much better customer service.

I have used Mijac since 1971 and up to 4 accounts at one time. Needless to say that I don't like false alarms. Mijac's service is so good as well as their maintenance that you do not have problems. Their service people are prompt and polite. They are proactive in their approach to maintenance. I have no qualms in recommending their service read more

Typically, a real estate developer spends half of the time collecting rent, and the other half solving urgent problems and keeping tenants happy. Theft and vandalism are always possible, and even a failed attempt can seriously impact one's income. After working with them for over 15 years, I can confidently say that Mijac Alarm is a business that I count on, not only for excellent customer service and equipment, but for imaginative solutions to tricky problems. A year ago, the attempted theft of a warehouse's electrical switchgear would have meant a drastic cut in income, and the failure of several business-tenants, not to mention the possible electrocution of ANYONE happening to pass within three feet of the vandalized electrical cabinet. Instead, Mijac's "videofied" alarm system caught the perpetrator. Since then, Mijac has worked with me to design and implement a solution that does even more to protect our interests, and scare thieves away. BIG THANKS to Bruce, Joe, Dee, Ashley, Brendan and Brian. You are a really excellent team. Don't change a thing. read more

I loved the great customer service with Steve. He stayed until our trouble was resolved. They are always my first call before anyone else! On another note, I did try to take this survey with the scan code several times on my galaxy note 2 and I got all the way through the questions but it did not allow me to submit my survey. Used QR Code Reader app. The error message read: "This feature has been disabled. Please contact our support." read more

Solid company. Met with Bruce when I moved my office to Rancho Cucamonga and everything went smooth. My office is complex and has many strange peculiarities, yet Bruce and his team worked them out without a glitch. As an architect/owner, I love the customer service as well. No issues with billings and Mijac Alarm is a straight up company. My understanding is that they also have direct communications with the Rancho Cucamonga Police and have even installed their system...can't get better than that, now can you? BTW, got broken into with ADT around 6 years ago, and they sent out an unarmed guard five hours after the alarm went off...needless to say, ADT is absolutely useless to me... read more

I called this company to set up a day for them to come out an give me an estimate on cameras for the prpperty I work for. The first time I called everything seemed fine and they said they do free estimates. I gave them my info and they said they would call back. They never did. I called them today and they told me that they won't come because it wouldn't be free. They want me to take a picture and send it to them so they know what cameras I have. And they will determine what to do. But how is that possible without viewing the wiring and distance or the camera set up? I'm not going to go into much more details. It doesn't seem like everyone is on the same page there. I would have given 1 star but I'm not that shallow of a person. Please clarify if you guys give free estimates or not. Thanks! read more

Mijac set up the alarms at our office in Rancho Cuamonga. The installation was great, Bruce Robinson did a great job explaining the system to us before we bought and after the alarms were in. The system works great. On of our staff left the door ajar the second night we had the system and the wind must have pulled the door open after we left. Mijac called and we were back to he shop in two minutes to secure the door. What if that door was open all night long? Thanks Mijac! read more

This Review is specifically for Richard, Tanner, Jake, and Joe. I had recently needed to have some wireless motion sensors wired to the system directly. Joe was able to accommodate my request to have work scheduled on a Holiday normally observed by private businesses, and local/federal government agencies. Richard, Tanner, and Jake had arrived with smiles and an eagerness to assist with my request on that day. I really liked how they communicated with each other and their service department in determining solutions to problems. Without any hesitation, the 3 of them got right on it and proceeded to complete the wiring. The work was completed way before the original proposed time and in compliance to the work request. Finally, after checking the system multiple times to confirm the integrity of their work, they cleaned up any debris which had resulted from the installation. It's really nice to now that a company cares about the cleanliness of the job just as much as completing it. Kudos to these gentlemen and MIJAC Alarm for such a positive experience. read more

This is a top notch company. I called them and Jon was able to come out and give me a quote the next day. I was also able to schedule the work a few days later. Two guys came out to install the alarm. They worked diligently and got the work done in a timely manner. They were able to use the space where there had already been an alarm, and it worked out perfect. I was very impressed with how the cleaned up as they worked and the entire job done. We just purchased our very 1st alarm system ever! We went with MIJAC for a variety of reasons with #1 being that they are a multi-generation family owned business. They have been in the area for over 20 years and serve both residential and commercial properties. When I began researching companies, I noticed a lot of their signs in the area. They are a local business with a BIG business approach. John came out on a Saturday for a quote and sold us on the company. Our installation was just 4 days later and the installer was great. Answered all my questions, offered suggestions and didn't mind the dog following him around. He went through the system and the alarm settings very thoroughly with me, giving me all the time I needed to feel confident that I knew how the system worked. It feels great to have piece of mind that our home and possessions are secure! read more

We have been using Mijac Alarm for about a year now and they have been great. We have accidentally set off our alarm while learning to use it, and recently out painters covered our smoke alarms, setting them off. In both instances, Mijac called me right away to let me know, and walked us through what we needed to do. They are always on time for service calls and all employees we have dealt with have been extremely nice and helpful. We would recommend this alarm company. read more

I have been a Mijac customer for 8 years. I became dissatisfied when they started hounding me about upgrading to 5G and that if I didn't do it soon it would cost me more later. My employer uses Mijac and wasn't being bombarded with calls and letter about a 5G upgrade. I was concerned Mijac was only going after residential customers. Mijac never addressed my concerns in a manner that seemed truthful to me. Then I got a call from Utah on a Sunday that my battery was low and needed to be replaced. My question was which battery and whether I could replace it myself. The next day Mijac called to follow up and schedule an appointment to replace my battery. When I asked which battery, I was told it was the battery in my fob. I asked the question again to be certain I understood and the individual said yes. As you might imagine I have replaced the battery in my fob several times over 8 years without Mijac calling to me it was low. This sounded ridiculous to me. That along with snarkiness instead of customer service was the last straw for me. I moved on. read more
