I called Jay, on 12/2 for mounting service. He responded quickly but, was booked up for 12/3 unfortunately. That was to be expected, coming off of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I was able to get an appointment on 12/4 @ 8:30. He reached out to me the morning of 12/4, to let me know status location and approximate arrival time. He was prompt, professional and helped choose the setup. Everything was excellent, and I would highly recommend him and, his team!! As they definitely exceeded my expectations!! Pros: - Knowledge and expertise - Quality of work - Quick Response - Options provided - Price point Cons: - Zero

Contacted them to mount my tv above our fireplace. He was very nice and gave me a quote of $750. That was a bit too much for us right now. Not that it was a bad price, just not something we could do. We ended up having a friend help us mount our tv. The mount was done right and we haven't had problems. The problem is that he couldn't help with hiding our wires like we were hoping. We tried the wall next to it but they stand out a lot which isn't what I wanted. FYI I have a stone fireplace. I contacted Jays and asked if they could help just to hide the wires. He had me send him a video of what it looked like. I did. He responded that he doesn't "band aid jobs like this". Which didn't make sense to me because I wasn't asking him to remount it. I was just asking for help hiding the wires. I said thank you anyway to him. I really don't understand why he didn't want to help us. We were willing to pay him. Is it because we didn't have him do the job initially? He didn't really specify. read more

Absolutely one of the best! I made an appointment and set a date and time; they called to come earlier, which worked out perfectly; it's always a wonderful thing to work with a firm that says what they are going to do and then does it; excellent communication. They detailed everything, measured, and ensured it would fit. While on-site, I asked for another quote for another project, and Jay climbed into the attic to look at a few things for this other project. He installed a 75" TV and set up the soundbar that we had as well. read more

I had Jay install a couple of TVs (70" and 55") and a ring camera system. I will only use Jay for these types of installations moving forward. Everything is done professionally and perfectly. If I ask him to do things a certain way, he can do it without issue. I'm glad there are great professionals like him out there. I've had terrible experiences with others not measuring and installing hexagon nuts in areas where they shouldn't be. Jay uses all modern and professional techniques to get things done. I keep Jay in mind if I know there's something he can install. read more

Firstly, Jay was extremely responsive and very attentive to what I wanted done at my house. He made sure that I was comfortable with the services he provided and I never felt pressured at any point. I had a TV mounted and some outdoor speakers installed, and everything was done very cleanly... he even went on my patio cover and concealed wires. His work was top notch, everything was done very professionally and he had everything on hand to do the job quickly. I could really tell his work was high-quality and I would highly recommend him if you needed any TV mounting services. read more

Ricardo and is colleague were awesome, professional yet friendly and personable. They cleaned up after themselves and did an overall fantastic job to make any streaks or scrapes anywhere. HIGHLY recommended if you are looking to have ethernet ports installed that extend from your main router/modem that go through the wall/roof so you don't have ethernet cords lying around on the floor.

I do realize that ADT corporate is different from installers like DPS and my complaint is more with corporate, but I feel it is my duty to inform potential DPS customers what it is like to work with ADT. DPS did my initial install and while they have been professional and courteous, they are attached to a deceitful company. Last fall, I decided to sell my house. I wanted to upgrade my control panel to an all-digital panel as part of sprucing up the house for sale. A tech came out to check out my equipment. He quoted me a price for the new panel and came out the next day to install it. I have now moved and called ADT to cancel my service. I was informed that when I upgraded my control panel, I signed a 2 year contract. Well, I was not informed of this by the tech. Did I read the purchase document for the panel? No. I'm admitting fault on that - but I was told it was just for the panel. Again, I told ADT (both in my initial reach out and in person with the tech) that I was doing this to upgrade for a MOVE. I made it clear I was LEAVING. Why on earth would I agree to a 2-year contract extension? After more than an hour on the phone with ADT trying to get it canceled (I was transferred 5 times) I was told I got the penalty reduced to "$22/month for 12 months." Before I signed (as I was in a hurry as I was at work and had already spent more than hour trying to get a simple contract canceled), I asked the account manager if there were any other hidden fees associated with the contract. He said no. Imagine my surprise the next day when a self-install unit arrived at my door with a pricetag posted to my account for ~$400. Once again, the account manager knew I was living with family and did not want or need an alarm. I do believe I was intentionally set up twice - and fell for it. That is on me. It's on ADT that I was set up. Nefarious business practices. I reported this to the BBB and a day or so later, I got an offer from ADT to reduce my penalty by $500. (The penalty was originaly showing as $1,300.) So now it's down to $700 but I am not giving up on principle. I was a customer for more than 8 years. I paid every bill on time every month. When I buy my new home, you can bet for certain it will NOT be with ADT.

But when there have been glitches or problems, we find ourselves working through the national center rather than our local providers.
