He advised me that he will have someone over to the house around 11am-12pm, which worked out best for me. The Installation Tech, Elmer called me at 11:30 stated that he was in front of my house. He was very professional and asked where I needed my tvs mounted. He gave me several options before he started to drill, cut the dry wall and mount the tv's. He was quick with the work. The work is phenomenal! There were a few fire walls that Elmer had to cut through but the work is super clean. Couldn't ask for a better company/Installation Tech to do the work! I definitely will use Happy Modern Homes again and recommend their work. FYI I contacted other companies and they would charge you an arm and leg to do what I got done.

The installer found our home neat and clean when he arrived. The mantle below the TV was covered with debris left behind after drilling holes in the wall. In addition to the dust, there were zip ties left on the mantle and the floor, screws from the TV base were left on our sofa. The plastic wrapping from materials used left on our coffee table, floor and in our bedroom. I may be oldschool, when contractors do work in my house, they should make sure the space looks as good or better when the job is complete. Never have I ever- had a contractor leave behind such a mess. I suggest this company and its installers invest in drop clothes and a dust buster to clean up after themselves. Will I use their services again? NO! Will I recommend them to family and friends? NO! Overall, after I cleaned up my living room and bedroom after the installer left, I was satisfied with the TV mounting. This experience leaves me with two thoughts, 1. The installer doesn't know better. And 2, because we don't live in Beverly Hills it's not as important to make sure our home is left clean and in order. What stands out most was Rick's accountability to the job and for the work of his crew. He was communicative, kept me informed throughout the job, and made absolutely sure any issues I had were addressed. Rick's team also tested every cable run with a Fluke tester and verified that each run was properly shielded and capable of 10 Gbps performance. They were also attentive to the smaller cosmetic detail requests, including cable color, outlet style, and the specific placement of wall jacks. I hired Shannon and Elden to install 5 speakercraft speakers in the ceiling. These are specialty speakers only available through certified dealers. There are a lot of knockoffs, these speakers come with a lifetime warranty as long as they're bought through their dealer network. Shannon being a dealer got me the exact speakers I was looking for, and offered instalation. I'm not familiar with installing speakers in the ceiling. I was about to hire a guy who said he tears up the drywall and patches it but doesn't paint it. No matter what, if you tear up the drywall, patch it and paint it. It's never going to look original. I spoke to Shannon, got me a fair price for the speakers and labor. As you can see from the pictures, he installed the speakers (without tearing up my drywall) and it looks factory original. 5 stars all the way. Calling him back for my patio speakers next.
