3 years ago I had TvXpertz come out and mount a 75 inch television on my wall and hide the wires. I mean...I could definitely mount a television and have the tools to do it, but what I do not have is the experience and skill to resolve any last minute issues that might come up. After watching many videos I decided I wanted this done professionally. I looked online in the Lake Elsinore/Riverside area and came across TvXpertz. Their quote was very competitive, actually...it was the most reasonable for the job I was looking for. When TvXpertz arrived, they gave their opinions about where on the wall the television should be mounted. Once a location was established they got to work. I could tell by the way the installers moved that this wasn't their first rodeo. Agreed about an hour and a half the job was done and I was extremely satisfied as the work was very clean. There was very minimal clean up as they prepped everything to minimize the mess. They are so confident about their work that they said the wall behind would probably fall before that television ever falls! 3 years later the television is still up, the wires still hidden and working and I was in need of getting another television hung upstairs. I was so pleased with the first job that I called them back to request a quote. I didn't even bother to get quotes from other companies as I knew I wanted TvXpertz to do the job. Had Mike do 4 TVs in our new home and they couldn't have done a better job. The in wall wiring was super clean and there were absolutely no short cuts. Two things I really liked about Mike: 1) Compared to others, his quote was not just very detailed but also reasonable and consistent to the actual work. If a TV was easier to install, it was reflected in the price instead of just spouting a flat fee. His prices for the actual mounts were also very reasonable. Others were charging an arm and a leg for mounts and hdmi cables I could find on monoprice for 70% less. Let's face it, a mount either keeps the TV on the wall or it doesn't. So unless you're doing pull-ups any decent mount should do as long as your installer is legit. 2) During the install, he exhibited extreme attention to detail. He asked if furniture would be under the TVs to ensure proper space was underneath while maintaining decent viewing angles. He also did a painters tape mockup of the mounting location so you could see where the TV would be once finally mounted. For the TV above our fireplace (a Samsung Frame TV), he was proactively mindful of routing the cable away from the fireplace heating element and also the sensitive nature of Samsung's proprietary AV cable. I've had installers do AV work at two prior properties and Mike was probably the best. Will definitely be reaching out again for our other TVs and sound system. Thanks! read more
