Be careful, UIA will auto renew your contract without informing you, after 4+ year of slow unreliable internet that they claim, I went a month after my contract in to cancel and now I have to pay for a year more. Even if things are bad with my new provider, I will go with anyone else other than UIA read more

they have a service contract that (unknowingly to customer) renews every year!! if you move or cancel they will charge you an early termination fee!! and they are more expensive than all other internet companies that have no contracts!! i highly suggest you use any other carrier except ultimate internet access!! read more

When canceling my Internet with this company that had many issues I emailed multiple times to remove my card from auto pay and send me the invoice of the cancellation fee final bill so I could have the new service provider pay. But after I emailed I got an invoice saying my card was charged for over $1,000. This person quickly did the transaction after I started multiple times they did not have my authorization. My ultimate choice to cancel was because the price and service. My Internet service with this company frequently would stop working. I called and I advised I would like a technician to come troubleshoot because it's not working but they wanted me to do the troubleshooting..which is fine but I have no clue what any of that is. I'm the only one working in my office as the sole owner. After they kept asking who set it up originally and if there is a staff member that is our computer tech. I told them I'm a one women show. I want an Internet service provider that will help make my Internet easy and I understand outages but not as many as we could get. When I inquired about canceling and the fee they quickly offered me a cheaper price. Why was this never offered before? And is this being offered to new and all existing clients? They offered me a price of $99 so if you have a contract for more I would call to adjust. I'm glad spectrum came to my area off of vineyard in Ontario in the office buildings. Now I have another option to try for Internet with a lower price tag and best thing out of it all there is no contract. I asked the representative to reverse the charge made this morning and they said it was automatic but I told her before she processed the transaction..anyone in business knows there is a way. The person just wanted to charge my card apparently to get my money? I asked for a reversal so the right person can pay the cancellation fee, which is the new Internet provider. I haven't heard back yet and will report to my bank and BBB shortly because I don't think this company should do this. They also emailed me saying the other service provider wasn't going to work well. I understand that they're trying to keep business. But I think it's up to the consumers to decide. If you're considering getting Internet from this company I would do your research and shop around. read more

This fucking company suck. I have called them now three times and no one ever gets back to me. Today they told me the CEO would call me . So guess what nothing. What kind of bullshit company is this. Why put yourself as the best company when you don't even take care of your new customers. I am going with a different company cause am tried of waiting on these people to come and put my internet on. I've been with UIA for a while now, it was a very good decision to go with them! Their prices are super competitive and their speeds are lightning fast. Their customer service and tech-support are excellent! I had trouble when I was on vacation with my Internet after a planned power outage by Edison. I had to wait till I got home and I still couldn't get anything going so I waited till the next morning and called first thing. Tech-support immediately figured out that I had a lighting controller plugged in directly to their modem and not into the router and it was stealing all of the data. He even told me the brand name of the lighting controller and which port it was plugged into. I moved it to the router and have had no issues sense. I Highly recommend! read more

This is a horrible company, they will make unauthorized charges to your account. Be warned!

If you're in Helendale/Silver Lakes this is the only company that you should even consider. This is the only fiber provider in the area. DSL, Satellite and the rest are a joke around here. These guys came to town, actually wired silver lakes with fiber and run the system very professionally. There is no cable company in Sliver Lakes. Any of the cell phone providers are very unreliable for internet service. The telephone company is in bankruptcy now (Frontier). Beware "Lead Generators" like Dish TV. They do not provider service they just sell your name to whoever's buying. Finally, Satellite Internet should be considered only as a last resort for places where you can''t get anything else. Silver lakes has fiber, if you don't take advantage of that, you're truly missing out. This company is based in Ontario, but they maintain a presence in Silver Lakes. I've had them for 3+ years and they're the best provider I've ever had. They're a technical operation, not a marketing operation. This is what you want. You will not be disappointed. read more
