Incredibly rude, uninterested employee who only cared about selling us the most expensive phone. Went to Alderwood and got great service.

I truly do not wish to be in these folks shoes. They do a great job with a very complex stuff they have to deal with.

If you need to catch her, she says she's at the Northgate location later in the day after 4pm-close - after her first job.

I've had a change to chat with security staff at the front and some, former military are super caring and kind. I feel super safe around northgate. Given the fentanyl and crime rate in the area this extra level of safety reassures me. The store is always clean and well displayed and the staff are knowledgeable. I think this store attracts a specific personality type and I noticed that some staff focus more on the specs of an item rather than focusing on the customer. It's hit or miss. Having come from sales and the service industry, I think that the emotional iq aspect could improve. I'm not giving this location a bad rating. I hope that my feedback can serve as a learning opportunity if you want. For example, I often have to find an associate to find something if there isn't one at the front by security. Sometimes, the staff will speak as if I am knowledgeable about tech and I hope the staff person can ask me what my knowledge of tech is first before processing. Value is fine. The Best Buy regional number gave misadvised me and I the staff seemed clueless at this location. I still like shopping here and they randomly have a good selection of toys.

Based on my recent experience with Best Buy, I foresee that coming. I intended to purchase a Bose Smart Soundbar at the Northgate Seattle Best Buy. I called Best Buy, only to be connected to a completely frustrating and useless AI assistant. It took several requests by me, and several unrelated responses by AI, to finally speak with a human being. I asked that human if a particular model of the sound bar was available, on display, and set up for listening before making a purchase at the store. I was assured that the store had the sound bar set up. I asked the customer "service" representative if she was absolutely certain because I didn't want to drive 15 miles to get there and find out the product wasn't available or set up for demonstration. I was assured it was. When I got to the Northgate Best Buy I found that there wasn't a display model set up. The model in which I was interested was sitting in box on the shelf. I asked the sales person how difficult the item was to set up. "Really easy!" I asked if it could be set up so that I could listen to it before purchasing. The answer was "no." I was encouraged by the manager to buy one of several other models that were set up. When I explained that I was told by customer "service" that the sound bar WAS set up for demo, the in-store staff told me the call center has NO connection whatsoever to the stores. When I asked if the store had a direct number I could call in the future I was told "no." There's only the call center. That would explain why the call center rep sounded like she was based in India. The lack of customer support is appalling. The inability to speak with a store employee by phone is equally appalling. I decided to purchase the sound bar I want from another retailer on line. If Best Buy believes that its customers don't need customer service, then the retail chain doesn't need my business.

I recently had my Nikon freeze up (the film advance jammed) and I figured this would be a great time to try them out. Despite being 15 miles away, I still decided to ship my camera to them. (I am not fond of driving into Seattle). They eventually got back to me with an estimate for "a full overhaul of the shutter, meter and film transport. All functions would be set to factory specifications and the light seals will be replaced. This would be a full clean, lube and adjust. Well - First off, I never sent the light meter. So there is no way they could touch "the meter." This was also, clearly, a generic form - probably not sent by the actual technician who will be working on my camera. Despite those warning signals, I approved the repair(s). When I received the camera it did have new light seals, and the film advance was no longer jammed. HOWEVER: The film advance squeaked - and felt rough. At this point I am no longer thinking this was a "full overhaul" of anything. I'm thinking they just un-jammed the camera and sent it back to me. They over-sold the process. *** Now I am driving into Seattle to return the camera so it may be properly OVERHAULED. At the store, customer service was 50/50. Clerk 1 was monotone with no eye contact, staring at the computer screen. Clerk 2 was quick to see the situation, and jumped in to assist me with my return. Another week later I get a call from an actual tech. He was bewildered as to why I returned the repair. I told him it was a rough film advance, and it squeaked. He told me it's an old Nikon (1960s) and it isn't going to work like new. I argued that an overhauled, cleaned, lubed, and adjusted film transport shouldn't squeak - and should be smooth when advancing the film. He reiterated that it was old and he's been doing this for years. Myself? I have owned a few thousand vintage cameras. Take what you want with those qualifications - But where I come from, I know what an actual Over-Haul is. And that is NOT what I received. Overall, they oversold the over-haul, and the repair department is disconnected from customer service. I will absolutely not be returning here for repair work.
