Wow, there are some low rating reviews on this branch and they are all valid. I'm just glad I got some awesome customer service. I had NO plans on buying a new phone, but my sister did. It was time for her upgrade and she saw the sweet buy on "buy one get the second one free" deal on the blackberry storm Verizon was offering. One thing to note on this particular branch is that you have to sign in at the kiosk to "better help your needs." My sister stood in line for a few minutes before she was told. In about 15 minutes we were helped. We were getting inpatient, but we waited. Granted, there is a sign at the entrance and you have to go around the kiosk to get into the store, so you shouldn't miss it. Well, we did and a few other idiots like a doode that was waiting for a good 15 minutes in line. After they called my sister's name, without even being acknowledged with even a simple nod of the head I told him he had to sign in at the kiosk. He slammed open the door and cursed the store away. I don't blame him, there was a few staff that could have pointed him to the kiosk, but never did. Lindsey was our customer service rep. She went above and beyond, and was knowledgeable about everything we had questions about. It didn't take us more than an hour to buy two Storms and transfer all our old information onto the new phones. She also gave us many tips that would help with our soon to be addiction. She was able to play with our accounts with her manager's help so that we only had to pay $226 for 2 BB Storms, 1 bluetooth, 2 car chargers and 2 protective cases. Pretty damn good deal. So Lindsey was pretty damn patient with us and knew her phones pretty well. There was a couple next to us buying the same and the lady kept creeping over to our side of the counter to listen to Lindsey give us her tips. I'm happy with our sweet deal and glad that we lucked-out on Lindsey's great customer service. If you want good service look for the short little blonde. read more

Normally I don't write knee-jerk reviews but I can't hold back the rage! I went in at 8:20pm. Fast forward 55 minutes to 9:15pm and I'm still waiting behind other customers. Sure they warned me there'd be a wait and apologized and offered me a discount on an accessory, but come on man. Save your apologies and discounts, I just want to take care of my business and go home! Making customers wait an hour for a freaking cell phone is not cool. Ugh... Sorry for the rant, most of the employees were really nice, especially the woman who checked me in. They just need about five more people/cyborgs working because each customer seems to take up 30-45 minutes of their time. read more

They were prompt, helpful, and when I left with my new phone, I was stoked. However, when I got home and put together my phone adapter that turns my phone into GPS, it didn't fit my phone unless I took off the rubberized case on the outside! Hello, pain in the butt! Come on now, you sold me all the stuff. I would have bought anything that yous said worked well with it. And I did. So why no mention that the Thunderbolt with its case doesn't fit in the GPS car adapter? I tried to take it back apart so I could return it and couldn't even do that. It's a long story but I need to get this out (sorry)... The Northgate KIOSK: When I found out the iPhone was coming to VZW I was super excited because my contract with AT&T was up allowing me to go back to VZW. I've always been with VZW & love their services. I only went with AT&T for the sole purpose of the iPhone. I made it very clear that I had a discount with my company, one of the main reasons why I was switching back to their services. It was one of the first things I mentioned and the rep at the KIOSK made a note of it. The guy used his sales pitch on me telling me that the DROID was a better option & showed me the features and most of the sales reps working there had the Droid & said that they would never go with the iPhone. I had the old iPhone 3G. He told me because the iPhone was still considered an Apple product, I wasn't able to get a company discount thru VZW, which I was bummed about so I went with the Droid Incredible (to get my company discount). I even got insurance on it for $6.99 a month that was automatically withdrawn from my acct because if anything happened to the phone I'd be paying $600-$700 for a new one at retail price. Hell no. The Droid Incredible: Went home and was satisified with my purchase. But, only for about a week. When things sunk in, I started missing my iPhone and its features. I did NOT like the Droid Incredible due their HORRIBLE battery life! If you wanted your battery to last 1/2 the day you'd have to get an add'l battery for it. It was so frustrating especially if you didn't have a charger nearby. People kept cutting in and out when I would talk on the phone and the music quality wasn't that great. I kept complaining about the phone for months and really wanted my iPhone back. I was almost at the point where I didn't care if I had to pay for the termination fee. I have two other friends who work for VZW and they told me that I WAS able to get the monthly discount my company had if I chose the iPhone, just not the 17% off the purchase of it! I was upset that the rep didn't tell me that! It seemed like he was so bent on me getting the Droid that he failed to mention that part to me. I would have been glad to pay the new contract fee as long as I still received the monthly discount. What made me even more upset was that he NEVER applied the discount to my bill! I had to go and set it up myself, which didn't apply until two billing cycles later. He talked a big game, but never delivered what I asked of him. I even gave my old iPhone to get refurbished and got nothing back for it. On top of that, he never told me that I had to call a specific number to cancel my insurance. When I called VZW directly they couldn't find it on my acct. They later told me that KIOSKs usually work with 3rd party vendors that is separate from them. I was on the phone for forever trying to sort this out. The VZW Store: After 4-5 months (Feb - June) of dealing with the Droid, I went into the actually VZW store at Northgate and talked to a different rep about getting a family plan and getting the iPhone. The sales rep there I talked to was named Rusty who was extremely helpful. He was able to get me a free phone (no data plan for my mom) in addition to the iPhone (for me) at the discounted new contract price. He was able to reduce my family plan and was very helpful, friendly, and set everything up for me, which I appreciated so much! I've never had a problem at the KIOSK before but after that experience, I will never go back to one again. If you want an actual phone through VZW, I recommend going to the actual store. I came in on Thursday to sign up for a new verizon account. To be honest, I was pretty desperate to get a phone and an account as I had been having issues with my old company. I was helped by Ahmed who I thought was very helpful - at first. Then he entered my home address wrong - when I corrected it, he said that I would have to call 611 to update it as he couldn't change it at the store. Okay..... Then he said that they had a buy one get one free discount on accessories - sounds great. I check my bill later and it was buy one get one 50% off - so another strike. I ended up spending $100 to buy an i-phone and he stated that he would waive the activation fee. I check my bill online and there is a $35 activation fee. Strike 3. I work for a company that offers 15% discount at verizon and told Ahmed this, he said again that I would have to call 611 to set this up (and to set up paperless billing). After spending 20 minutes on hold with 611 they tell me that Ahmed could have set it up for me in person! STRIKE 4. Overall my experience was horrible. I left feeling happy with my purchases and the honest experience, but every single day I am finding out another lie that was told to me and another chunk of $$$ that I have to pay because of it. Taking advantage of people is not what businesses should be about. I will not be returning to this store and I strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere. read more

Slimy scumbags to the max! Went in to redeem my free phone upgrade. They told me I would get a "free" tablet if I "upgraded" my service. The sales guy explained I could get a free tablet and save $10 a month if I switched from unlimited data to a 5GB data plan. He showed me my usage numbers and said I never even got close to 5G. Lies. Sounded good but I thought I was smart by making sure I could change my mind. The guy assured me several times that I had 14 days to change my mind. Lies. I bought a nice case and tempered glass screen protector for my tablet. The screens were out of stock so they ordered one for me. A few days later, when the screen came in the mail I brought it into the store to be installed. The girl totally screwed it up! There were several bubbles under the screen and she scratched my case when she rammed my tablet in upsidedown. When I asked her to fix her mistakes she shrugged and explained I would need to remove the screen protector and ship it back myself. Huh? After another couple days I realized that my data usage was nowhere near what I had been told. He had just straight up lied to me. Really? I decided to return the tablet and accessories and switch back to my old plan. Turns out that the 14 day window is only for hardware, not plans, or at least that was the story I got. Again, the guy had just lied, blatantly and repeatedly. Hey, fair enough. I should have read the fine print. But who does? And I guess I just didn't think they could lie like that. So, at least I can return my tablet that I don't have enough data for anyways, right? Of course I can return my free tablet. For a $75 restocking fee! How do these people sleep at night? We've been with Verizon for a decade or more and while we've had headaches here and there in dealing with their customer service we never had major problems...until we changed our service agreement last year. Long story short, we recently figured out that we were being charged $20 per month for having accepted what we were told were free notebooks and when I went into the Northgate store (where we had changed our plan) to discuss the matter the sales associate first tried to bait and switch to comparing plans - apples and oranges so it made no sense. Then he got testy. When I persisted, and said that we may need to either separate or add a new family member, the salesman said he thought I was just trying to get out of paying, basically called me a liar. Outrageous! It was a personal attack and totally unwarranted, we were having a civil discussion. I was so upset I had to leave - I have never been talked to like that by a salesperson. I'm seriously considering lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as with Verizon. read more

This store has had years and years of terrible customer service reviews on Yelp and nothing changes. I went anyway, on a Saturday, and was told 5 people were ahead of me. Just like all the other reviews, after 45 minutes, we were still waiting. I caught one of the reps to ask if they had the model in stock. Why wait any longer if they didn't have the phone I wanted? I emphasized the model I wanted and he said "I heard you." I don't remember a time when someone in the customer service business talked to me like that. And maybe if this store is so busy, hire more staff. I am seriously considering switching carriers because of this store. The manager doesn't need to reply to this review. What can I say? These guys are terrible. I mean the worst. If you want to waste a whole morning or an afternoon, go ahead, be my guest, head over there. We ended up there several times over the years because we live in the neighborhood. But, never again. First off all, the place is always understaffed. It's not that they're actually that busy or anything. I think that they intentionally under staff it so that you are forced to look around at their products. Anyway, the staff is terrible. I mean just awful. I once waited there for over an hour only to be told after waiting and enduring an entire hour plus that they were so sorry, they did not actually have the headset I wanted in stock. Mind you, I specifically told the nitwit manning the door exactly what I wanted when I walked in the door. And, he didn't even seem that sorry when he finally told me that I had waited for over an hour for nothing. And, they ALWAYS TRY to put you in the most expensive plan they think you can afford and sell you something you don't need. Plus, they have twice signed my wife up for a protection plan she specifically told them that she did not want. More importantly, they're morons. Seriously, their sales associates are complete idiots. It's like they seek out and find all the rejects from every other local tech retail outfit and make a point to try and employ them. It's unbelievable. Honestly, I would rather beat my hand with a hammer until I break every bone in it before I ever step foot inside this hellhole again. Don't say you weren't warned. Do not trust these reps to get an order correct!! Had to place my order 3 times for the new Galaxy Edge & accessories. I spent several hours upgrading our family plan with 3 lines, to finally leave the store with NOTHING! Kyle said the Galaxy was sold out & would ship in 5 days. 10 days later, no phone. Verizon customer support said it will ship in another day or so. Gave it another week, still NOTHING. Went to Northgate, "oh looks like your order was hung up (canceled). We'll ship it out." Except they sent it to the wrong address! Went back a 3rd time today to fix my order again, also discovering Kyle dropped the ball on the accessories too! I signed for the total but it appears this guy didn't click complete on the order. Left there today with my accessories but still NO phone. I got home to notice that one of the accessories is for iPhone series. read more

First off let me say I've been a very happy Verizon user for 8+ years since leaving AT&T. This place though was terrible. I went there this morning specifically to see the Droid 2 Global in person after doing a bunch of research. Signed in with someone although there was only one other person being helped by the sales staff. Went to check out the phone on my own in the meantime and it seemed to be the one phone in the displays that wasn't working - the screen flashed a Motorola logo a couple times but wouldn't fully appear when I hit the power button etc. 25 minutes later still no one to help me and at this point after looking at some of the other phones I made the mistake of going back to the Motorola at which time I somehow set off the anti-security device. The dude who was helping out the one other shopper said they were sensitive while no one else came to help still. After about two minutes of standing there with the alarm going off I finally walked out. Tried calling back later to see if I went back if they would have a working version and just got a no operator available message. Very frustrating. read more

This used to be my store before I moved out of state. I am not a tech genius. When I lived here, this place was always extremely helpful, went the extra mile, and even kept a straight face during all of my dumb questions and slowness with catching on with things regarding operating my phone. Was in Seattle for a visit, needed help again, and even though most of the names and faces that worked there had changed, the service again was outstanding. This time it was a representative named Daniel who spent extra time trying to locate (he did) and conjure together parts that would be compatible with my much earlier model phone. Had been to a couple Verizons in Portland before my trip here, and the workers those shifts were far below the established high standards of this store. read more

I've always had a great experience with this location. Everyone is always very helpful and friendly. For some reason I seem to pick out the phones that have tech problems, when any of my phones have had problems (wether it be user error or actual tech issued) the staff have always been understanding and able to either fix the problem or get me a replacement. I always leave the store knowing that they were able to help me and knowing that verizon is the best phone company for me. Also, Kevin is awesome and has helped me a few times with my phone issues or questions. Perhaps I'm just in there too much, but he always remembers me and what I do for work. He is very personable and fun to chat with (even when your phone is looking more and more like a really expensive paperweight). read more

I've been with Verizon since 2008 and this trip basically made me call up to cancel service. Which I did, since I was quoted 2 entirely different prices in store vs. online. Advice for anyone wanting to buy a phone and plan via Verizon, stick to buying it online. You can clearly see everything and no one is going to attempt to boost their sales by constant up-selling. This is probably my favorite Verizon store in the area. They always make me smile whenever I come in for any kind of a service change or transfer everything to a new phone, even when I wasn't having the best day. They take their time and treat their customers like they actually want them to be happy when they leave the store (what a concept, huh?). Great staff and eager to help, even if they aren't getting any commission off of you. My first time in there, the manager had me cracking up as I had to wait a rather long time for someone to put my screen protector on my phone (there was only one guy who knew how to do it well at the time). And Verizon is so expensive because they still have the best service around, far superior to Tracfone. I'd bought it new just the day before, and although it seemed to work in the store, it didn't work once I got it home. Next day, Seth saw to it personally that my problem was fixed to my satisfaction, calling around to other stores to find a working one in stock. Worst customer service of any carrier - nationwide. Had my car broken into and wifi card was stolen. Called to cancel the card/service. Verizon informed me that I cannot cancel until end of my current contract bill, despite being under no long term contract. Was told I could suspend but had to call back on June 12 to cancel. Consistently poor customer service is a guarantee from VZ. They over charge and deliver non-customer service. Go Sprint, TMO or AT&T before considering this carrier. read more

Let me tell you that customer service and how you treat people should be #1 on any employees' to treat list. Only a few companies get that and for sure Verizon is on my top 10 list. I purchased an iphone 12 mini at the Verizon Northgate store. The employee who sold me the phone specifically told me to only pay $499.99 and not the full $699.99 price of the phone, saying there would be a promotional credit on my account for the next 24 months. I asked a month later why the promotion hadn't been applied to an employee managing the line outside the store. He told me it takes a while for promotions to show up. I went back today with an appointment and asked why my promotion had not showed up as a credit on my account yet. They said that the promotion the employee entered had not actually been applied and it in fact the promotional terms were something I did not agree to. The employee had lied to me to get the sale and then entered a promotion I would never obtain. The store employee connected me to Verizon loyalty customer service, where I spent an hour and half on the phone with a representative who could not even see the purchase receipt and kept asking me if I got my phone for free. I was then connected to her manager who said that he could not find a promotion on my account. Oh, and he said to call him back when I find the promotion (like I know what all of the Verizon promotions are?) Well, one thing is certain. I will not ever be buying from Verizon again. I will buy straight from Apple. Thanks for nothing Verizon. Also while buying my phone, the sales rep misled me and told me to buy a wall adapter that would work with the cord in the case. I then bought a bunch of new cords thinking I needed new ones. Nope, came back the next day and he told me my old cords would work. Yes, I had to come back the next day because he refused to activate my phone while in the store and it of course did not work when I went home. All around excellent crap service, Verizon. read more

I want to the Verizon store at Northgate Mall. Not a kiosk but a store on the outside of the mall. When I checked in they said 10 minute wait and it ended up being probably 5 minutes. Kyle helped me out and was super helpful. Kyle Brown. We were switching my wife from AT&T to my plan and got her a new phone. Kyle explained everything, listed out the monthly costs with different plans. Super fantastic customer service! He knew how to work through my wife's old phone, the AT&T website, really knowledgeable overall. And a nice guy. My wife just switched to Verizon from AT&T. I switched to Verizon from Sprint about a year ago. Both of us are happy with that choice. read more

Absolute trash. I have 16 devices on my plan and Had to go in 3 times after being told a manager would call me back to clarify everything on my business account. Sarah helped me and did a extremely poor job at executing anything that was discussed inside the store. Not only were my phone calls not returned, again I had to physically go in 3 times to try and get someone to actually do anything. To this day nobody has reached out after my visits. Dealing with Verizon is like playing the shell game where they lie about where the shell is to begin with. Last December we bought a pre-paid package for my husband's very old cell phone which he carries on bike rides for emergency purposes. We confirmed that it was for a year's duration. In June we got a message that he needed to add more money. Three hours on the phone with multiple "customer service agents" and I thought the matter was resolved: a year's worth of coverage as first promised rather than 3 months. July, he tried to call me while on a ride and got a message that his phone was without service. Two more hours on the phone. Final resolution: his phone had been turned off because he never used it, something we were never warned about when we bought the service. Because it is so old (3G), it cannot be reactivated. So....even though we were told we had purchased a year's worth of service, his phone was turned off because he never used it (something he was never warned would happen). Five hours of phone "pass the buck." They have our money. We have no service. read more

However, Nichole is one of the most patient customer service person we have ever met, she overcame all the technical difficulties of Verizon and AT&T and she set up everything correctly, despite the whole account set-up system being a giant piece of antique covfefe, she managed to get our request done flawlessly, while being all nice and patient. I have to tell you, one thing that I really dread going to do is head in to the Verizon store to go through the process of getting a new phone. Not because I don't like the people there, I just don't like being made to feel like I'm being sold anything. THAT SAID, when I woke up the other day to find my phone not taking a charge or working at all, it was time to head in and see what was up. When I walked into the Northgate Verizon store I was greeted by a smiling face and it took about 5 minutes to get help from Roxy, who totally rocked the entire process. She was clear and helpful and answered all my questions perfectly! We took a look at my account, I got some recommendations and got to settle on the iPhone 5 without feeling pressured or persuaded. Not only that, but she used her magic skills to hook me up with a really awesome deal on a cheap bundle package that got me an iPad for just a few bucks more than my new iPhone was going to be. We got iTunes set up, and she waited with me to get all my contacts backed up so I was good to go the second I walked out the door. Heading in there was definitely the fastest and easiest time I've ever had getting a new phone. Not only that but the staff were chill, down to earth, and easy to talk to.. despite some whiny/bitchy customers I had to overhear. People that work at these places are people just like you, so when you come at them sideways from the get go, no wonder you get a bad reaction! The cherry on top was when I got a phone call from Roxy today to let me know she was shipping me the portable on the go phone charger that we had talked about that day in the store - FOR FREE! Talk about awesome. It inspired me not only to write this review, but also sign up for Yelp to do my very first one. Ok, I have been a Verizon customer for over 25 years. I was over billed last month and this afternoon, I called in to talk to a customer service rep. I have now been on hold for 1 hour and 32 minutes only listening to the music on their system. At the beginning of the call, I was told that the wait time will be 10 minutes. I understand a slowdown for Covid-19, but this is not acceptable. Maybe it is time that I transfer my account to T-Mobile. read more

I just went to this Verizon store specifically to purchase a glass shield for my new phone and to purchase a $100 backup battery charger. The greeter was friendly, checked that the glass shields were in stock, and told me it would be a few minutes until one of the sales people could help me. More than 20 minutes later of sitting patiently while watching the staff chat, joke, and move at a generally glacial pace I left. 20 minutes waiting to purchase 2 simple items. Little wonder Amazon is winning. I'd prefer to shop at brick and mortar stores, but not with service this horrid. read more

If I could give the good people at Verizon Northgate six stars, I would do it. If you need help, ask for Travis and Roberto and you will be in good hands. These gentlemen went above and beyond to sort out a huge mess for me this week, and I cannot speak highly enough about how they handled the situation. Read on for details... I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon earlier this week and made the mistake of doing it through Victra in Ballard, which is an authorized 3rd party Verizon Retailer but not an official Verizon store (called Corporate Stores, as I later learned). Victra Ballard initially hooked me up with an amazing deal, claiming that they would throw in a free case, wireless charger, screen protector, and something called a hum that I would have never taken if it wasn't for free....Or so it appeared, until I got home and was able to view the receipts and bill breakdown online. Turns out Victra Ballard shafted me by charging me for $300 dollars of accessories - all of the "free" items they threw in as a special deal with the iPhone X I purchased! They even added the hum as a second line which would cost me $10 a month for the next 24 months along with a bunch of activation and device fees. Needless to say I was pissed, and when I called Victra they claimed it was all part of the "bundle" and probably couldn't be returned. At this point, I decided to go to a real Verizon store to figure out what the hell was going on with my account and see if they could help sort out the mess. I am so glad I went to the Northgate store! I explained my situation and was immediately approached by Roberto (sales rep) and Travis (store manager). These guys were incredible! First of all, they were extremely unhappy with Victra Ballard. Travis said that he had dealt with a similar situation one week earlier where an elderly woman was tricked into adding a hum to her bill for the next two years, which had been set up by none other than Victra Ballard. He was as pissed as I was and immediately got in touch with regional managers for Verizon and Victra to drop the hammer on their shady operation. While Travis worked on holding them accountable, Roberto started to erase the numerous errors and unwanted charges from my account. He essentially had to wipe the slate clean and do everything from square one because Victra had done such a poor job. Roberto explained the plan, phones, charges, and process and whole way through, and he ended up spending at least an hour on the phone with the main office fixing the port of my phone number so I could switch to Verizon without service interruption. Victra Ballard had said that even if I returned the items, they would charge me a $70 restocking fee and some other non-refundable administrative set up fees. Travis jumped in again and told me not to worry because he would personally see to it that Verizon would refund me for the fees by taking the money off my bill. Recognize that this wasn't Verizon's fault whatsoever and they had no obligation to refund me for the restocking fees of a third-party retailer. That is some next-level customer service right there. They also gave me their cell phone numbers, said to call directly if I had any issues, and also said they would keep an eye on my bill to make sure Victra removed everything that they had set up. All in all, it turned out to be a great experience that redeemed my faith in Verizon after a very unpleasant initial experience. Roberto and Travis, if you guys are reading this, thank you. This is a long story, but I'll try to keep it short. We live in a condo in Seattle, near Northgate. Our cell phones one day stopped working properly. They dropped calls, if calls could even be made. I went to Verizon. They had no idea what was wrong. I figured out-- on my own-- that someone else in the condo complex bought a network extender. My phone was connecting to the network extender instead of the cell tower, but it was too far away to be useful. Thus, the dropped calls. Verizon's solution? Buy your own network extender for $120. So I did. I spent $120 on a problem that I didn't create. About a year later, I bought a mi-fi device. I thought it would work great in my house. Nope. The network extender only boosts the 1x signal, not the 3G signal. The mi-fi device only works if you drive across the street and sit in the parking lot. After about 6 months of that, I got fed up. I wanted to out of my mi-fi contract without having to pay a cancellation fee. The Verizon Northgate store said no. They told me I should have said something after 14 days. They offered no solutions, no discounts, and didn't even offer to have a tech come see if they could solve the problem. Time after time, I have to figure out the problem, and when I do, it usually costs me a ton of money to fix. Goodbye, Verizon. You've lost a customer. read more

This review is about the Verizon store located on the west side of the mall (not the Kiosk located inside the mall). I bought a new prepaid plan and phone (from a different store). I don't use my phone a lot (thus the prepaid). This phone was a lemon. It would suddenly discharge itself completely and may or may not charge up again. So I brought it to this store for replacement. They said I was 4 days too late for a replacement with a 'new' phone, but would send for a refurbished phone for me. I purchased a new phone for $110 that was defective and now they want to replace it with a refurbished phone. Two days later I went to pick up my refurbished phone and they wanted to give it to me with the old battery from the defective phone. The phone's battery would not keep a charge! These people are totally out of touch with reality. I switched from a reasonably priced wireless company (T-Mobile) to a premium priced wireless company (Verizon) and I get inferior service even though I am paying a premium price. The manager was rude. Do they really think they have a chance in hell to make a customer happy when they sell a defective phone and refuse to replace it except with a someone else's returned phone? I hate Verizon!!! They have better coverage than other companies but otherwise they have the worst customer service I have experienced in many, many years of dealing with hundreds of different businesses. read more

Expect to walk in and stand there waiting for your turn while 3 employees joke around behind the counter and ignore you for at least 20 minutes while giving you the occasional dirty glance. Worst customer service around. Go to a competitor and avoid a terrible experience at a ridiculous price. read more

I've been to this store many, many times for different reasons--billing questions, checking out new phones, upgrading, etc. Almost every single time, there was a wait. Sometimes it's short, about 5-10 minutes, sometimes 30-40 minutes, and sometimes, like today, they quote you 15-20 minutes and you end up waiting 45. The most irritating part is that there are employees in plain view that are not doing anything. Today I saw one lady leaning on the counter playing on her phone. Not the best thing for your temper when you've been waiting twice as long as you were quoted. Last time I was here, I waited 15 minutes longer than I expected, but it wasn't a big deal because I wasn't in any hurry. Today, not so much. The guy that checked me in told me there was a 15-20 minute wait, and that I could come back in that time. So I came back after 20 minutes and there was one person ahead of me. Perfect. 20 minutes later, there was still one person ahead of me. Not so perfect. I understand that each customer may have time-intensive needs, which is fine, but the fact that this is a perpetual problem is a concern. If there is this much demand, maybe they should staff more employees. When I asked the check-in guy to take me off the list because I was leaving, he gave me a spiel about how all the employees are busy helping "doing their BEST to assist EACH and EVERY customer to the FULLEST EXTENT." Uhm, that's totally fine by me. What's not fine is being quoted 20 minutes and having to wait twice as long with no end in sight. You'd think Verizon would be doing better at a basic thing like customer service, especially in this economy where their competitors are introducing some very tempting deals... read more

So my wife and I go into the Verizon store to trade our phones in and they have 3 salespeople just staring at us and one even drawing on a notepad, yet there r still 3 people ahead of us. It makes no sense to have a waiting list and have sales reps doing nothing. It makes the experience so tiring. Who came up with the idea to have customers wait? I think it just makes the sales people lazy and it wastes a lot of my time and others time as well. Change the structure. It's crazy how someone at the top of verizon thinks this is good customer service. read more

I went in today to ask why my new phone was not taking calls or texts and to see if they could help me activate it. It was on back order so I had it delivered to my house and I had trouble setting it up at home. A tall, burly associate with shoulder length brown hair says he'll help me. I only describe him so you can keep an out out. He proceeds to ask me if I have protection on my phone, which is a whole spiel I went through with the Verizon rep I bought it from, and I have to tell him no a few times. I told him I did the math and that it's more cost efficient to just replace the screen if it breaks then pay each month. GET THIS, he then says "Can't replace a screen on a stolen phone." Implying that I stole it. Proceeds to hand me both my phones back and stare at me. I didn't realize what he was actually saying to me until after I left. I spent $1300 on a phone at the Woodinville Verizon store then went to the Northgate store to ask for some help a few days later ONLY to be basically called a thief to my face. This employee is classless, unprofessional, and flat out rude. The interaction was short but unfortunately memorable. I didn't catch his name but BEWARE. Everyone at the Woodinville location seemed caring and has helped me many times without any judgment or being pushy. I recommend going to that location. Don't bother giving this guy a commission off your back. read more

UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHARGED UP THE ASS LEAVE VERIZON!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot stand Verizon. I have been with them for years ONLY because they have the best cell phone reception. I have been screwed over by this company SOOO many times. Every single month we have to go through our family plan with a fine tooth comb to see what has been added to our bill without our knowledge. CROOKS I went to this store yesterday to buy a new phone and WITHOUT my consent LOUIS (sales guy) added cell phone insurance to ALL of my families phones, again WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I was told by LOUIS that I was getting a FREE wireless charger with my new phone that retails for $59.99. I specifically said ALL I wanted was the phone, to pay the tax and have NOTHING touched or changed on my cell phone plan. NOT ONLY DID LOUIS ADD $44 WORTH OF REOCCURING MONTHLY CHARGES TO MY FAMILY PLAN HE CHARGED ME FOR THE WIRELESS CHARGER, CHARGED ME FOR MOBILE INSURANCE && THE SALES TAX FOR THE PHONE. read more
