I had a very disappointing experience at this Verizon location today. I waited more than 30 minutes in the store. Jason, the manager, checked me in after I had already waited about 10 minutes, and then I waited another 23 minutes with no help. He was clearly available, standing with other associates and not assisting anyone, even though he could have helped me at any moment. When I asked why I was waiting so long, he told me that I had only been waiting 23 minutes, even though I explained that he came to me much later after I had already been in the store. Shannon, the sales associate, was also not helpful at all. I came in because I wanted to upgrade my phone and add 1 more line . Instead of trying to giving me best options , he told me that he did not know what was wrong with my account (he said that if I will add 1 more person ,I have to pay 70$ more ,even though they told me if I will add 4th person it will be free )and that I should call a number. Even after checking with the manager, he came back with the same answer. I waited more than 30 minutes just to be told to call a number that I could have called at home. They made no effort and did not offer any real help. My experience with this location today was very unprofessional compared to the good service I received three months ago. 6 weeks of going to this store 6 times (between June and end of July), and 5 phone calls with Verizon, including management, on 611. Just me, but I have never seen such incompetence that I really think the employees did this on purpose. They did not turn in my Zfold for 5 weeks and I lost my $800 credit. The original salesperson said he would get the monthly price near what I paid for with AT&T ($55). First it was $95, then $85, then the promise was for 65. But since they took so long to get my Zfold turned back into the larger Verizon - I lost my credit. DO NOT go to this store, unless you have the patience to deal with the number of visits, broken promises, and a fundamental lowest level of incompetence. Follow up to my Review a few days ago: Jason aka: Kevin The Store Manger told me to leave the store because of my review. He told me if I did not leave he would call the police. If you need to find the RIGHT T-Mobile Customer Representative - you need to find Christina at this location. It was totally worth the drive for me - a new customer who was having a borderline infuriating situation with the process to signup and switching carriers, adding multiple lines, with the incentive to benefit from current promotions. Things were not done orderly when done over the phone, but Christina helped to clarify a lot of these issues in person, offered more insightful information about the process, and even offered her business card to be there if anything else becomes an issue later down the line especially with the promotions. If you need to catch her, she says she's at the Northgate location later in the day after 4pm-close - after her first job. She's a hustler read more

Regarding Verizon Seattle-Northgate store: I strongly recommend avoiding this location. If you do go there, don't believe what they tell you about costs and services. As an existing Verizon customer, I went in for help on accessing my online account. I didn't ask for any new services. But while they were working on my account, they sneakily added three new monthly paid services that I did not ask for and did not want. When I discovered this later, they refused to fix the problem and refused to remove the improper charges from my account. The main customer service line didn't fix the problem either, and a formal written complaint letter to their correspondence address received no answer. Now they are threatening collection and damage to my credit rating. It's clear that Verizon's customer service is absolutely terrible. You would be much better off with other service providers with reputable and honest customer service. read more

I've had the best customer experience at this store. Not just once but twice. The staff is warm and inviting. They are maintaining the store in compliance with Washington State and CDC guidelines. Berto was amazing. He saved me money on a plan that offers me more benefits. I never felt rushed or pressured to make any adjustments. I record my savings and then Black Friday sale came and he was amazing working every offer to upgrade me to the new iPhone 12 Pro Max. Do not trust anything that Christian from this store says. He will tell you anything to get a sale but most of what he speaks is lies. Shame on Verizon for promoting a system that scams their clients. 1. He will give you his "direct number" to call if you have any questions and to help "things go through". Every time I come here I regret it. One, I spend too much. Two, the service sucks. The people running this show are entitled, rude, and can't make eye-contact. It all starts when you walk in and no one greets you, or they say "just a minute"...well I was not aware that a minute was actually more like 20. Then, the service itself is awkward and slow with few places to sit. I understand not providing chairs if you don't want your customer to stay too long and get comfy, but let us get real, I never wanted to stay longer than 10 minutes yet here I am 3 hours later as you set up and reinstall thing-a-ma-jigs. This one takes the cake! I came in around Xmas/new years last year and was told that because I purchased whatever product I picked up that day, that I would receive a free ipad mini. Well fast forward a year later and there is no discount on my account (which was meant to offset charge of monthly due for iPad) and I have to pay for its data, purchasing the item, and for the actual line itself. Yeah, I am so done. And now, I do not get service in all of the right places in the world and I've had more dropped calls with them in 2 years than I had with At&t in 6. Now, this is a store that delivered on Customer Service. They fixed the Samsung Galaxy issue that started with another Verizon store. Both James and Andrew were an absolute rock star's in taking the issue and listening to the frustration level and making it right. We were there at 7:30 and they both stayed and worked the issue until after closing. The were calling everyone to find a solution. They did not get a total solution that night but called the next day as promised to resolve the issue. Their solution caused a small fee which they put a credit on my account to counteract the unintended fee. The work that they put into this issue was exceptional. This review is for the Verizon mall kiosk near the Best Buy Mobile and Ram restaurant part of the mall. While Verizon isn't known for their customer service, I had an appalling experience just WALKING BY the kiosk. We were in the store early to pick up iPhones on launch day and walked past the kiosk to get some coffee. My wife asks the group of 4 of them politely what time the mall opens for walkers and other folks and an employee named Kyle responds "Uhhh, you're in the mall now, aren't you?" and proceed to tease her about what a dumb question it was. When she walked away, got her coffee, and returned back to the other part of the mall, unprompted, Carlos, one of the employees, yells out "Did you and your "posse" (who says that?) get in the mall" and the group begins to giggle again. I later return with my wife to speak to the store manager, and it turns out that Carlos wasn't just a punk-kid employee, he was the STORE MANAGER. While he might possibly be a competent sales guy, he's lacking in the maturity department. As I tell them how disrespectful their behavior was, Kyle (the guy who started the whole thing) says "grow up!"...the ultimate irony. Who calls out and laughs at customers as they walk by? How do they even get hired? How does a store manager have less maturity then his terrible employees? I came in during happy hour (slow times in this area "3-6") and the hostess said it was going to be about a half an hour wait, since I was on lunch I couldn't do this. She told me if I log in online I can schedule an appointment and not have to wait, so I did and came back 5 min before my appointment time. I've waited for half an hour now and still no help... Verizon responded to my complaint by saying that they send a negative zero balance bill to show that the account is closed. While that may sound "reasonable," it's after-the-fact. Yeah, I switched carriers recently and decided to come here to buy a new phone. The clerk that helped me was ok, but the one thing that I questioned was..... he said if I paid in full for the new phone (instead of the 24 monthly payments) that I couldn't return it within 15 days if I was unhappy about the phone. He did mention that after 15 days I could pay off the phone in full. I found that whole thing a bunch of horse pucky... they just assume that you will never pay it off and then you are somewhat "tied" to a 2 year agreement. It clearly said on my receipt that I had 15 days to return. Other than that I guess I'm happy about the switch. Except the endless email offers.. read more

Worked with someone recently and he was rude and snobby. He didn't listen to what we were saying so I had repeat myself about 6-7 times before he even understood what I was saying. I usually go to University Village store and the customer service there is always amazing. I asked multiple questions and he wouldn't directly answer the question and when he finally did answer me it was in a condescending way that makes my questions look stupid. Horrible customer service. We've been with Verizon for a decade or more and while we've had headaches here and there in dealing with their customer service we never had major problems...until we changed our service agreement last year. Long story short, we recently figured out that we were being charged $20 per month for having accepted what we were told were free notebooks and when I went into the Northgate store (where we had changed our plan) to discuss the matter the sales associate first tried to bait and switch to comparing plans - apples and oranges so it made no sense. Then he got testy. When I persisted, and said that we may need to either separate or add a new family member, the salesman said he thought I was just trying to get out of paying, basically called me a liar. Outrageous! It was a personal attack and totally unwarranted, we were having a civil discussion. I was so upset I had to leave - I have never been talked to like that by a salesperson. I'm seriously considering lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as with Verizon. read more

Wait, it's right there! Yes, right there, I can see it, you haven't seen that the whole time you've worked here? Wow. Here's the f-cking account number, here's the ID, here's what I think of your service, here's what I think of your store. Now stop charging me. We are done. Don't blame these people though. I'm sure they are just following orders. "If they try to cancel their plan, just don't tell them where the computer is!". These are the bullshit tactics that make people hate big business. God, why do people who sell phones have to be dicks? Every time I deal with them (since I've purchased my phone) all the do is condescend. I bought a new phone the other day because I hated my Motorola Q. Absolutely hated it. I went in to the Northgate store because it's closest to my house and I wanted to transfer my contacts. The guy who takes me phone then proceeds to talk to me like I'm a kid who doesn't know anything. I've been a Verizon customer for almost four years now, and before that I was with T-mobile for two. I don't need to be treated like I've never owned a phone. Needless to say, it took them nearly 45 minutes to transfer my contacts. Not because I have that many, but because they took their sweet time and decided to try to sell me stuff I don't want. Do as I asked, not whatever you like, please. Oh, and Verizon customers? Just an FYI: the stores are going to start charging you $10 to transfer contacts from one handset to the other. read more

Now, we're new Verizon customers and recently have been going in rather frequently to check out options of phones before we ordered online. Each and every time that I've come in, the service has been pretty awful. The check-in process is always rather prompt and friendly. Unfortunately, after the check-in, you will sit and wait while you watch others sit and wait. Now, the worst part about it? You'll see Verizon sales reps/employees standing around as well. Now, I understand they may not be trained on my particular need, but seeing employees and customers all sitting around is not a good sight. Not a fan of this branch. Their store is actually two parts: a kiosk out in the middle of everything where they sell you stuff, and a storefront elsewhere where they hide you while they fix your stuff. The guys in the kiosk are knowledgeable but the location sucks. Signing up for service out there is like trying to buy a house at a football game - the environment doesn't cater to making good business decisions nor is it private. I tried to conduct my business in the storefront, preferring the peace and countertops. The guys in there didn't mind me being odd but they don't know how to do a simple phone setup. I ended up having to go somewhere else (namely, the Southcenter store) to fix my phone later when it didn't work. read more

Ugh. I hate mall kiosk locations for cell phone carriers. It's as if they take the sales people who can't make it in the 'store fronts' and shove them here. My husband had been waiting (impatiently) for the Galaxy Nexus to drop and it had been delayed about 3 weeks (seriously!) So we finally came to pick it up on launch day. There were 3 guys in this small kiosk. They told us that they were sold out, laughing the whole time. I'm pretty sure they had 3 in stock to begin with being such a small location. When I asked about other locations, he told me the 'other' location in the mall as well as the Best Buy Mobile Kiosk 10 feet away were "all sold out as well." We came home and called another Verizon store and picked one up about 30 mins later. Come here if you want some post high-school grads to snicker and laugh at you. Wow, there are some low rating reviews on this branch and they are all valid. I'm just glad I got some awesome customer service. I had NO plans on buying a new phone, but my sister did. It was time for her upgrade and she saw the sweet buy on "buy one get the second one free" deal on the blackberry storm Verizon was offering. One thing to note on this particular branch is that you have to sign in at the kiosk to "better help your needs." My sister stood in line for a few minutes before she was told. In about 15 minutes we were helped. We were getting inpatient, but we waited. Granted, there is a sign at the entrance and you have to go around the kiosk to get into the store, so you shouldn't miss it. Well, we did and a few other idiots like a doode that was waiting for a good 15 minutes in line. After they called my sister's name, without even being acknowledged with even a simple nod of the head I told him he had to sign in at the kiosk. He slammed open the door and cursed the store away. I don't blame him, there was a few staff that could have pointed him to the kiosk, but never did. Lindsey was our customer service rep. She went above and beyond, and was knowledgeable about everything we had questions about. It didn't take us more than an hour to buy two Storms and transfer all our old information onto the new phones. She also gave us many tips that would help with our soon to be addiction. She was able to play with our accounts with her manager's help so that we only had to pay $226 for 2 BB Storms, 1 bluetooth, 2 car chargers and 2 protective cases. Pretty damn good deal. So Lindsey was pretty damn patient with us and knew her phones pretty well. There was a couple next to us buying the same and the lady kept creeping over to our side of the counter to listen to Lindsey give us her tips. I'm happy with our sweet deal and glad that we lucked-out on Lindsey's great customer service. If you want good service look for the short little blonde. read more
