Why didn't I know that there was a Target on 2nd Avenue just 10 minutes away from my hotel? I'm happy that it is close and very convenient for me. Downtown Seattle is very interesting, somewhat eclectic. There's a shopping district nearby, central business district, Chinatown, Capital Hill all just a hop skip and away. With three floors of shopping, Target is secure with Seattle Police Department officers on standby making sure that shoppers and employees are safe and sound. So many departments such as groceries, greeting cards, books, kitchen and home decor, men's, women's and children's clothing, electronics, accessories, personal care, office supplies, snacks and more. Everything in store is organized, clean, with well lit lighting. I've never seen so many locked up store shelves compared to other Target locations. Self-Checkout is the best way to go. read more

No public restrooms, even for people who make a purchase? Was having a medical dilemma and needed the restroom STAT. Was told by plastic cop to go to a business that was closed. This is why I returned my purchases after I got right. Target will never see another penny from me. read more

This target is in a busy tourist area. The service (or lack thereof) matches the area. Lack of customer service is appalling. If I had options I would have left . The items I needed are all locked up so you must wait for someone in each area to get it. That's a slow long process itself. While waiting I looked for a restroom was told they don't have one and to walk a few doors down to the market and try there. At that point why do I need to come back to target??? Not one member of that staff was friendly,welcoming or helpful! I do not normally shop at target and this made it clear why I should continue down that path. read more

Quality/Quantity - Made a wine run. Got 4 bottles of wine for our cruise to Japan. My daughter and my wife got a few items also. But because the alcohol department was in a different part of this store, we divided and conquered to make our purchases easier and quicker. Ambiance - Small format store, catering to tourists mainly. Think convenience store. With minimum selections. But more than enough for our needs. Fairly busy location. Service - Self service. Price - $90; reasonable for "convenient" prices. Weather you're in Long Island, NY or Seattle, Wa. the formula stays the same. Therefore the reviews will pretty much be the same except for the local specialties. I was jet standing outside the building when I thought to myself, wow... this place is huge! There is a huge assortment of EVERYTHING. This place reminds me of the old EJ Korvettes [on Long Island] and their attempt to have one store capture everything you need to set up and live in either a house or apartment. Their staff is generally very friendly and helpful, if you can find an actual person who is not working on one of the very few cashier lines since everything is automated now. I did have a small issue that was handled very quickly by the very friendly team member. This is a good place to come for some one-stop shopping but I suggest you do not do this on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. This store and the one in Tukwila is why I am no longer a customer of Target. I owe them a thanks. What an awful corporation Target has become! First, this store is quite busy. It's hard to shop here and get in and out quickly. Like many other stores in Seattle it has about 20 security associates. Not quite the greeting you want when walking, but retail theft, blah blah. And you'll have to ring the bell for a number of locked up items, which may take a bit because the store seems understaffed. There are no bathrooms. That's right, $113 later one trip, I had to go elsewhere to use a bathroom. I felt most for pharmacy customers who often need a bathroom. Pharmacy staff were rude. I did nothing to deserve the attitude I received for waiting in the line and then asking a question. My question? "Hi, I was wondering if I could pick up some Covid tests with my Aetna insurance?" Oh that ticked off the lady pharmacist. Like it's my fault $100K later or whatever she paid for her degree, she has to talk to customers. A customer who simply asked a question. What's more, they don't stock those. She loved saying. that. You could just tell. Pretty sure she wanted to add to that for me to go f%%k myself, if she could have. That is a corporate decision, folks. Then, my husband stopped in another time and they charged him .8 cents for a bag. For what? M&Ms small size. We only used self service check out after that. Now, self service check out. Go to the basement level. How long will you wait? In my four times (too many) in the store -- it's never been under 10 minutes. They offer a lot of products in store but very few that I was actually looking for. It's a weird phenomenon. A little of this and that, but none of what you actually need or want. We tried online pick up. Just as bad. We were charged full price because on a 2 for 1 deal, they only had one product. Never got an email or option like Safeway and QFC do to reject or substitute. In the end I called the corporate number because there is no email option. I said I wanted to share my thoughts just for "consideration by corporate management." I generally wanted to share about not having a bathroom. I figured I'd get a gentle, "Thanks for calling." That would have been fine. NBD. I truly wasn't expecting anything; I rarely call 800 numbers. Woman listens and literally says, "Nothing I can do about that." And promptly hung up on me. And then I quit Target. Best decision ever! I happily shop elsewhere now. And have saved a lot of money! read more

Nestled right at the beginning/end (depending on what direction you're coming from) of Pike Place, this Target is conveniently located. It's a full size Target and had all the essentials we needed. Their apparel was fully stocked and the fitting rooms were clean. We visited multiple times during our stay and there was never a cashier actually open and available. We always used self checkout and it was easy. I'm not sure how purchasing alcohol works since there wasn't a cashier though. read more

Very lacking. This location was clearly struggling. When we first walked into the store, everything looked messy. Clothes were falling off the hangers and there were items on the floor. Not only did they not have what we needed, but everything was locked up and there were barely any workers around to help us. Needs a lot of work. read more

This Super Target has 3 stories with escalators and elevators taking you to the various levels. It's very spacious and clean. I bought some fresh blackberries and they were super sweet! The packaged naan bread was really soft and fresh as well! Definitely come here to get your fruits and groceries! I was impressed with the selections in the market/produce section of the store! I also got some Fuji water at a very reasonable price as well. They have self-checkout stations that were convenient and easy to use. read more

This Target is fine and I wanted one thing and got it. It was out of the way from the places that I was going to at the time, but there's nothing to complain about. I'm glad that they were here, across from Pike's Place, because they were easy to find. Someone helped me find what I was looking for, I forgot because the trip was so long ago. But I found it. Someone who worked there helped me find my product which was nice. I love places with old time charm and a Target seems to be a bit too modern for the Pike's place area, but the ease of finding what I want and being able to get it is definitely worth it. I'd come back in a heartbeat just to peruse. They have three floors of stuff and urban Target stores (like the ones in New York, Honolulu) have a very different feel. But my husband wouldn't have had any of it, so we got our product and ran. What I appreciated most was the ability to find what I wanted without running around the whole city. This target is just not it. It will work in a pinch if you need to grab something while in the city but I definitely recommend doing an order pickup. If you do an order pickup just know that the store has less items so expect some items at a normal target they may not have. When doing my order pickup the worker was very kind but I had to wait over 15 minutes as there was only one person working the counter. read more

I've never seen so many isles filled with locked cages of products that are just normal items like deodorant, shaving cream, toothpaste, etc. It was an interesting site to see. I guess that is their normal though. I came into this Target getting a few things that I forgot to bring on the trip. Overall this is one of the scariest Targets I have been to. Free parking for an hour, wow! I'm used to paying $15-25 to park downtown so free parking is a huge benefit. I was pleasantly surprised at our positive experience shopping here and will return. I was nervous about visiting this Target location due to its proximity to troubled 3rd Avenue x Pike, but it was easy and free to park, the store was overall clean and tidy (an underwear drawer display was broken, causing a hazard, but almost everything else was easily accessible), and we didn't have issues with any sketchy characters. Security guards were visible but not scary. Shampoo and conditioner were not locked up, so we could shop with ease there; we did need to beckon over a staff member to unlock the deodorant. The natural light coming into the top floor and wide aisles give a nice feel. I wish they had counter staff; checkout was exclusively self-serve. read more

In spite of being in downtown, this target is quite big and they carry everything. I usually drive up and pick up from here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The drive up process is simple, they also have a big garage with one hour of free parking I believe. Would recommend shopping from this target. read more

This is a Target. I've seen other Targets, and this one is just as targety as the others. Three stars. However, after shopping here, I asked to use the bathroom. They said they don't have restrooms and the closest would be Pike's Place Market. I went to the Four Seasons, and they were nice. Paying Target customer = no bathroom, Bud. Non-paying Four Seasons guest = "gon head partna and handle your business". Moral of the story: don't expect that as a paying customer you'll get to use the bathroom at Tarjae. Came in desperate for a safety pin to deal with a wardrobe malfunction before an event and Brett asked me if I was finding everything alright. I let him know they were out on the shelf and I just needed one. He sprung into action and checked at least 5 different offices on multiple different floors to find me one out of the goodness of his heart. He put such effort in finding me one small item that I couldn't even buy. Eventually found one at guest services. But let's talk about what I really wrote this review for... CART ESCALATOR... Are you kidding me? We literally watched a woman (an obvious local) stroll along and push her cart past the signage that says "carts only" and off it took and I swear we were like two clueless california gals watching this action like a kid stares out a vehicle window... It's different from most targets, as this has three stories. It has three escalators and cart escalators. I see that most of the more expensive things are locked up. But the stuff was nice and there is a great selection of products to choose from because of its three full floors. read more

As an avid Target shopper, it's always a treat getting to visit an oot Target location & during my recent vacation in Seattle I made a shopping trip to this location. Here are a few of my FYIs & helpful tips about this Seattle Target location: *Parking: Located in downtown Seattle the street parking was hard to find because of the time we went but this location does have a parking garage that you can park in & your parking will be validated if $20 is spent at Target. When checking out you will have a coupon that prints out for free parking w/ your receipt. *No restrooms: If you ask any associate where is the restroom is, the response you get is "sorry, no public restrooms but the nearest one is at the market". This store does have an issue w/ homeless people walking around the store so I'm guessing that's probably the reason why there are no restrooms available for use. I did like that this Target had 3 separate levels & they had lots of clearance merchandise w/ super cheap prices & for sure I would have bought soooo many of these items to take back home w/ me to Texas BUT I had no room left in my suitcase for the flight going home! :( Hope this info helps! ~Rebecca out read more

We encountered two employees who were very rude and unprofessional; The girl who has to open the toothpaste case (she had multicolored curly hair), and a lady in women's wear who gave me a horrified "NO!" when I asked if they had a plus size section. Both times we were embarrassed and felt unwanted in the store. Not every job is enjoyable, but if you can't be courteous to customers, find another job. read more

This is a really cool location with 3 levels; very different from the typical Target locations on the east coast (except in nyc). I like the way they have the sections set up separately, according to whatever you are searching for. For instance, the first floor is mainly the market/grocery section, second level was clothing, etc. I also remember pretty good music playing as I was perusing the store. They need to figure it out here. Employee discussions about the store in the aisle and they act like they don't have customers in there. In addition, they speak rudely of their customers and not quietly. No one is polite. To add to it, I had 3 small items with a beer purchase. The cashier made it sound like a big deal to check out a few items and I had to wait in another line after waiting in this one to checkout again. It would be better to have cashiers and close the upstairs front of the store doors than having to checkout multiple times and employees just talk about all the theft instead of helping customers. I get it, it's a high theft store but at least have a employee meeting or discuss the solution in the open after store hours where it doesn't impact customers. read more

Ordered contactless pickup, the process for this location is soooo no thought through. It's aggravating and It didn't minimize contact. Employee was nice/ professional and my order was right he but didn't bring my order to the back passenger door as I indicated in the app. Instead after checking my code through a closed window he had me open my door and handed it to me ... like ok but bruh we are in a pandemic and I want you to chuck that in the back on the other side. This location has paid garage parking (spend $20 at target and get a hour) and the dude didn't know how /when/where parking validation is done for curbside pickup. So I had to go inside, upstairs and to a line in customer service to get a voucher to validate it. It's super dumb. It's so dumb. Don't bother with it, 1 star is for the employee getting the items right, and 1 for the customer service desk worker not making me pay out of pocket for parking. The whole purpose of contactless pickup is for it being contactless. I got jammed in a crammed store, elevator. Okay even if he had brought down the voucher slip for parking... I would still have to walk into incoming traffic (no sidewalk or pedestrian path and it's right next to incoming traffic on a blind turn) to get to the elevators and the validation machine. Find. A. I've been a loyal member since 2019, but today, I called to cancel my card due to their recent DEI decisions. They got 4 different floors in this target depending on what you need. Mostly come in for a grab and go for snack which is on the bottom floor which is chips and a lot of drinks and coffee variations. Store is very clean and very well staffed! Many access points all around I just don't like to closes by 8pm but it's in downtown many options around a lot of homeless just be weary of environment! read more
