I was looking for a stylish LED Floor Lamp and found an amazing one at Kasala Outlet. It was the last one, a floor model (no box), final sale. I took it home, wrapped it as a gift and set it by the tree. On Christmas day while setting it up, we had trouble getting the lamp head to stay in the extended position. We needed a special tool. I scrolled through the Kasala website and found the "contact us" link and sent an email asking if they knew of a special tool to tighten the arm with a photo of the fastener. Within 90 minutes I had a response - on Christmas Day! David, their E-Comerce Sales Specialist responded to let me know he would look into it by reaching out to one of the stores the next day to see if they could locate the tool and send it to me. Three days later I received the tool and the lamp is perfect. I can't say enough about the excellent service I have received over the years from Kasala Stores and Outlet. Update: I now could say with all honesty that I am and was so impressed with Kasala's customer service, Kristen is the director for the Kasala stores and after reading my review , she called me right away, she was able to talk to me and my husband about our experience and what I could say is that she made it right for us and for us that means a lot and says something too ---- that's she cares about her customers and is willing to create an atmosphere in which my husband and I would continue to purchase from their store. Kristen mentioned to me that they also stopped carrying bonded leather so they would either carry fabric or real leather or what they call faux leather. Kasala does stand by all their products and I told my husband that I would definitely continue buying from their company, it developed a sort of trust between the customer and the company knowing that you're in good hands once you purchase a Kasala furniture. They have zero customer service coz if they really cared about their quality and NAME they would definitely make it right for us but they didn't I don't think that 40% off store credit is making it right I understand that we cannot get anything for free but this is not a normal wear and tear this is actually a damaged leather issue, their quality is damaged. They should have warned us that after a few years or I saw in one yelp review after a year the leather will start to disintegrate for damaged items they should at least offer 75% off retail but since reading the yelp reviews there are hundreds of people complaining...., I don't know how these people sleep at night knowing that they sold pleather to their customers. I always say and believe what comes around goes around, people have been posting fake leather here coz if it was real it wouldn't peel after a few years. In search of a bed. Recently moved to WA state area and had sold my bed previous to the move. I waited nearly 2 months on a bed from West Elm - sleeping on air mattress at 60 years old - so I was beyond desperate and frustrated. Found Kasala Outlet from a general Google seach. From my first phone call with Juliette (delivery person) I think is her name to the Outlet store contact at with Shanilla to the actual delivery of bed within 7 days by Galen and Alma my experience was super positive, despite one small glitch. They were all helpful and sympathetic to my ongoing situation. Purchased the Alcove queen bed and love it so far! It is important that people and businesses get the positive feedback and commendation they deserve and have earned. Kasala has now become my new go-to furniture store. Also thanks to Ashley (super friendly) whom we met afterwards while shopping the Bellevue store. He sent email to mgmt on my behalf and now I'm doing my own review. The price on the furniture here is amazing. A leather loveseat for $300? A stuffed chair for $147? But the service is some of the worst I've ever experienced. Long story short: the employees were not helpful or friendly, the movers tried to cut corners, and the general attitude at the Kasala Outlet seems to be that we don't care about you because you bought discounted furniture. I guess you really do get what you pay for. Shopping in the store was fine - we just showed the woman who worked there (Kristen) everything we wanted and she was helpful in getting our order written up. But things went downhill once the time for delivery came (it's $99 for up to 2 deliveries). They were supposed to call the day before to give me a 2-hour delivery window. I missed their call, they did not leave a voice message, and by the time I called back they were closed. I called first thing the next morning. The guy who answered the phone at the Kasala outlet sounded irritated that I was calling because I should have already known my delivery time, but he did found out for me that my delivery would be between 2-4pm. My boyfriend and I waited from 1pm until 4:30pm, then called the Kasala outlet again to see if the movers were just late. We were transferred over to the delivery coordinator, who told us that the movers came at 2pm and no one was home. I told her that we were definitely home, waiting for the doorbell or a phone call. She said that they called and knocked but no one answered. I insisted that there were no missed calls on my phone and that I had my phone on and with me for the past 3.5 hours. Rather than being apologetic, all she said was that we were not home and that the movers could not come back because it was already 4:30 and they come back to the warehouse at 5:00. Their next opening wasn't until next weekend. It's irritating to spend $1700 on furniture, wait for hours, then find out that the movers only knocked on the back door before promptly leaving. It's irritating to have to call the store the morning of your delivery to find out what time they're coming. It's really irritating to have someone tell you that the movers called when they definitely did not and to not apologize for the misunderstanding. I definitely got the feeling that the movers were already late on their deliveries that day and just wanted to go home, so they barely tried. Really, no phone call when I know you have my cell number? The only reason they don't get 1 star is because they tried a lot harder the second time (almost a month later, because we were away on vacation for 2 weekends). This time, Kristen called and let us pick a window, so we were able to schedule a morning time, which is better because the movers aren't so backed up. My boyfriend literally waited outside our house for them to avoid another misunderstanding, and they brought the furniture up our narrow stairwell without a problem. Overall, I like the quality of the furniture and the price, but they need some work in the moving and customer service department. read more

This Outlet is in a very industrial, unassuming place, but it's always fun to come here and browse the store. This place has got amazingly high ceilings so it always feels open to just browse around! The main store has tons of couches, light fixtures, ottomans, you name it. Prices aren't rock bottom like they are at Ikea but the quality is a lot better, of course. I saw a lot of decent sofas for $500-$1000 or so, which is actually cheaper than Crate and Barrel's sofas (!). The sofas are mostly bonded leather or fabric material. Perhaps there are some real leather ones but those are significantly more expensive. The back room has some overstock/odds and ends/damaged items, and there are some great deals on sofas there too. The only "issue" I have with this Outlet is that, at least when I went, quite a bit of the merchandise on the main floor is what you can find in the regular Kasala stores at the same prices, so to me, the "Outlet" is really the smaller backroom with all the overstock and extra items at reduced prices. For example, there was a special order black couch in the back room, and it was there for $500 (the color is one you can't find in the regular store because it was a special order)! I wish the main floor would have more special/overstock pieces so that I can really call this place an Outlet. Also, this store is closed Monday and Tuesday. read more

We are very satisified with our Tahoe Motion Sectional that we purchased from the Kasala Outlet about a month ago! My husband I were desperate for a new couch. We were looking for something that was modern, functional, sturdy and comfortable. We found that the Tahoe hit the bill with all of these things. It's got a chaise on one side and a La-z-boy motion-style seat on the other end. It's so comfy, we hardly want to get off of it! We were helped by John. The quality is good and they stand behind their furniture even after the purchase. Around Labor day I was looking for a new sectional and happened to stop by here thanks to fellow Yelpers' reviews. I knew the prices would be lower, but still expected to see $1500+ for a good sized section like the one I had in mind. I saw the perfect one and saw that it was $799! And it used to be $1500! Of course there's taxes and shipping ($45 flat rate BTW), but this was the perfect deal for me. They only ship Fri-Sun so I had to wait a week, but well worth it! Delivery guys were punctual and quick and I had my couch before I knew it. i stopped in to the outlet a couple of weeks ago and should have known better. what i didn't know was that their spring sale had just started. and, as i said, i should have known better. i strolled around the front room eyeing several things i really liked but then i pushed past those things to take a gander in the back/sale area and what's where i was a goner. it's clear that you could find stuff there one day and gone the next so id say my best advice is to act fast, act on impulse and use the helpful piece of information one of the salespeople gave to me: i could put what i wanted on my credit card and as long as i wasn't taking the items that day, i could go home, measure, re-evaluate the financial damage done and if necessary, call to cancel the purchase for a full refund. who wouldn't take advantage of that?! two weekends later i drove back to pick up my ítems, which the warehouse guy expertly wrapped in plastic and carried out on a dolly to my car. everything about my experience was pretty flawless. kasala has cute stuff and it was more About me having to limit what i wanted and how much financial damage i could afford to do but in the end, with my new items at home, i love them! i will come back to kasala but only when i know i am a little flush with spending money because it's the kind of place that's going to push my willpower. read more

I experience exceptional customer service while picking up my order at the will call warehouse. I called in the morning to inform them that I would like to pick up my order earlier than expected. I spoke to Rick who was helpful and assured me that my order would be ready when I arrived. Kasala Outlet is fun. Plain and simple its just fun. I find myself visiting with nothing in particular in mind, but just to check inventory as it changes weekly(thursday i think is what they said). I have purchased a few pieces there and my latest purchase was a bed. Unfortunately it has damage from shipping or delivery, but they are taking care of it right away and have set aside a replacement piece for me. I'm not allowed to have nice things. I'm just too hard on stuff. I wear out high heels like they're going out of style; I get food stains on everything that I own. And if you think I'm bad, you should see my numerous pets. They are like furry versions of me. That's why I shop for some furniture at the Kasala Outlet. I like the durability of Kasala's products, but just don't dig the retail pricing since SOMEBODY in the house is going to end up sharpening their nails on the arm or leg of whatever. We bought our L-shaped leather couch here and it's as comfortable as heck, but [now] it looks like we saran-wrapped 37 cats to most of the surfaces, and they had to claw their way out :/ It retailed for almost $3500, and we got it for $1400. We've also bought a rocking leather reclining chair, that has somehow managed to avoid the same treatment as the couch. I think the animals disapprove of the color of it. Originally $699, we got it for just over $200--because a woman had it in her house for a week and decided she didn't like the color. The most recent item (that we now have to replace. Sigh.) is the leather storage chest that we use to store items at the foot of the bed/sit on. Dog nails had ripped up the top of the leather seat, which must have resembled kitty litter since one of the cats... Well, anyways, we need to get a new one. The similar ones retail for almost $300, but at the outlet store, they are $175--available in black, grey, red, white, black, and brown. We are still talking it out--since we're afraid of the same thing happening again--but other than using plywood as furniture, I think we may just bite the bullet... And since I just bought some emery boards, I know that I won't be the first one to ruin the newest addition to the house. Note: I went back and the sales guy didn't listen to anything I said, which resulted in a circular conversation. Sigh. For modern furniture and home decor needs, Kasala, as a whole, doesn't disappoint. I've purchased a few things from them over the years and have always had a positive experience. Excellent quality, excellent service. Prices at the outlet store get insanely low -- especially for items that are in the warehouse in the back of the store. I managed to score three beautiful counter stools for my new home for about $80 apiece here! I was ecstatic. However, immediately after my purchase, I discovered that one of them was defective, so I went back into the store to notify the guy who rang me up about it. He took care of it right away and asked the warehouse folks to carry a new one to my car even before he busied himself with the paperwork needed on his end to make changes to the transaction. They are really good with customers here. Incredibly nice and patient with questions. They get a lot of foot traffic, especially when there's a sale, but I've never felt like they were too busy to answer the gazillion questions I come with. Both the store and the warehouse are consistently well-maintained and organized. It's really fun to visit. I love walking through the store and checking every single furniture piece out. Parking is easy, too! My only complaint would be that many items I've looked into purchasing from here had such long wait times. They weren't going to be available for another several weeks, which didn't fit the time frame I wanted. read more

We just bought our first house and stopped by Kasala's outlet store in SODO for some living room furniture. My coworker, who has impeccable taste in everything decor, suggested that we come here for really great, high end furniture at a reasonable price. She was absolutely spot-on in her recommendation. The showroom is divided into 2 sections, the front section has mostly bonded leather couches, ottomans, chairs, some dining tables, desks, various other living/bedroom furniture and some really adorable decor pieces. The back section has some genuine, high-end leather couches, along with returned/show room pieces from the main Kasala stores. We were helped by Kristen, who was not only super friendly, but also really knowledgeable about all the furniture sold in the store. She was incredibly helpful with letting us know the condition of each piece/how they came into the store and what color options were available to us. We left the store to shop around some more and to give us some time to think about the furniture that we loved from the store, but ended up coming back in a couple hours to get everything that we wanted anyway. The furniture was absolutely beautiful. We purchased a gorgeous, tufted leather couch, originally marked at $2500, for $1,100, 1 fabric chair, 1 bonded leather swivel chair, 1 large bonded leather ottoman, and 1 small bonded leather ottoman. All in all, it was $2,400 for an almost complete high-end living room set, which is pretty incredible. We also saw a lot of cute dining tables in the $200-$400 range, and if we hadn't already gotten a dining table and chairs from a friend, we would've probably gotten one there too. Delivery charge is $99 to Seattle/Bellevue no matter how many pieces you buy. Needless to say, we had an amazingly pleasant experience in the store and will be coming back soon!! P.S. The Outlet ain't giving it away, but its quicker and more direct and cash is appreciated Indeed, this is the store your mother warned you about. But once you do the Outlet, you'll be hooked. A 4 star experience for the stuff they had in stock, but a 2 for my backorder. We ordered a bed on backorder. They told us 6-8 weeks. At 9 weeks I called because we hadn't heard anything. They said the order was delayed and you should have gotten a call, as if it was out fault somehow. They did give us a small discount at that point, but it made me feel like we were even again, not that they were taking care of me. They said it should be another 3-4 weeks. 4 weeks later I called again because they hadn't communicated any update. The person on the phone started talking about a container and customs and logistics - guess what, I dont care about your internal logistics. Don't talk to me about that, especially as if that absolves you of responsibility. You already have most of my money! I want to know when you are going to bring me the bed frame I ordered and paid for, not when your customs issues are worked out. Tldr I would buy things in stock again, but I would NEVER order a backordered item from them again. read more

I've been shopping here for years, since they were operating out of the old werehouse. It is hit and miss. You will find good stellar deals, then you will find somethings that are not a great deal. This is an outlet, you will get random stuff. I don't think service is going to be super spectacular, but I have always received good treatment here. I love this place! I was able to get a (for lack of a better word) fabulous grey leather couch for $499 (originally $1250). It is wide, retro-looking, sturdy, and comfortable. The salesperson suggested I order the matching rectangular ottoman so I could make a sectional out of my couch too. I did and it's awesome. I was also able to score a very solid dark dining table set for $799. This was not as great of a deal since the chairs cost $100 each, but they are way better-looking than anything that I could find at IKEA. In addition, they knocked $100 off the price of my table since there were 2 minor dings to the expandable leaf piece - which they later touched up for free. Many expandable tables require 2 people to pull out, but my table can be easily operated by one not-very-strong girl. I suggest asking the salespeople to see if they have any open box deals in the back. Sales was super helpful, allowing us to look around and only assisting when requested. My friend and I moved stuff all around their store to make sure that it matched up. Selection is quite limited so it really depends on your luck. I was told they get new stuff every Thursday so definitely come around then if you want first dibs on anything. If you're looking to furnish a whole new home, start here before heading to IKEA. This is especially true if you love leather couches! IKEA leather couches retail for $800+ and, well, it's IKEA. I don't think that their lighting fixtures are very cheap though. Though modern, they all seem to have relatively flimsy shades and all seem to be $150 minimum. They also have a couple of beds, but the selection here is even more limited, and they seem to look a lot like their leather couches. The only reason that I am docking off a star is that they charge a $99 flat delivery fee which is a 20% fee if you're only getting one leather couch. However, you do get 2 deliveries out of it since stuff is occasionally on backorder. I have to say that the delivery staff was very nice and friendly. They came on the early end of their 2 hour delivery window, carried everything up to my 3rd floor apartment, and setup everything for me. They also took off their shoes when they saw that I wasn't wearing any in my apartment. I would definitely be recommending the Kasala outlet for anyone looking to purchase furniture! read more

Furniture shopping made fun! Furniture shopping can be a daunting experience where you either go to IKEA or some mom and pop shop with furniture designs from the 1980's that's 3 football fields long. Then there's the Kasala outlet with beautiful contemporary designs at affordable prices. We outfitted our living room, bedroom, and dining room mixing and matching new pieces with highly discounted pieces that were previous customer returns. This place is awesome. The furniture is stylish and the quality is great. It was my go to place to get most of my furniture for my home such as side tables, bed frames and some items that you may have had an eye on at the kasala store.
