The salespeople know what they're talking about, try to understand your needs, and don't try to upsell you. The family-owned business, since the 80s, sources its furniture to ensure quality and sustainability, making me feel good about where I spend my money. The prices are fair, and you're assured of getting very good-quality furniture that will last for a very, very long time. We bought a Stressless chair, which they sell many of, in the 90s, and it's still my favorite chair in the house. Even the delivery people love working there and care about your satisfaction. We live in a condo where they had to carry a large piece of furniture up four flights of stairs. One board got slightly banged up; they showed it to us, took pictures, sent them back to their manager, and assured us they would take care of it. Later, the owner came out, fixed the dings enough where we were happy, but he wasn't. He said this will do until we can get you a replacement because you bought something new, and you shouldn't have something newly fixed; you should have something you know is new. I can go on and on about what a great experience and value it is to shop there, but most have probably stopped reading this by now. Suffice it to say: if you want excellent-quality furniture that is super comfortable, long-lasting, puts a smile on your face when you see or use it, and makes you feel good about where your money went, buy it at Bedrooms and More. I recently ordered from Bedrooms & More and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. Having spent several hours researching latex pillows, I decided on Bedrooms & More because of: 1. the praise they received across several review websites, including Yelp 2. their YouTube channel which has videos that helped me decide on the pillow 3. the products they carry are some that I did not find on any other website 4. their customer service is top-notch and very fast to reply 5. they are a family owned store and offer reasonable prices It's clear they genuinely care about their customers, which is a refreshing change these days. When my package arrived, I was equally impressed. The packaging was done with such care and arrived in perfect condition. The pillow was neatly wrapped, and it felt like I was opening a gift. The attention to detail really stood out and made the whole experience feel special. The pillow is perfectly bouncy, has no smell, and is the most comfortable pillow I have ever felt, let alone the safest when compared to the "memory foam" type pillows. I couldn't be happier with my order and have recommended Bedrooms & More to several people already and am looking into their Dunlop latex mattresses because the quality of the pillow is that good, I can only imagine how amazing an entire bed must be. Sold us an American Leather sofa with very soft cushions, not same as tried in store. And now, after working with 2 different sales reps plus the owner, still waiting for American Leather to ship our new cushions. Communication has been horrible from the store. Seems like when sales reps are there with customers, current customers calling g about issues take a backseat, since commissioning sales are priority. Very sad, owner needs to get more involved. Also a year ago when our cabinet bed was delivered, it was missing a part, the 2 guys setting it up were pretty clueless. We did get a new one delivered about 1 week or so latet. read more

Just bought a new king mattress with the help of Kit, who was super knowledgeable and no pressure. The crew who delivered it had to push it up my narrow staircase and remove/reinstall my banner railing to get it through. They were very professional and positive through the whole thing. I had the easiest, most pleasant furniture shopping experience at Bedrooms & More last week. Sean helped me find the perfect mattress and Stressless recliner during the Black Friday sale. I was in and out of the store within an hour. I knew I wanted the extra firm Woodland Park mattress and was also interested in buying a recliner. Both of my selections happened to be in stock and were delivered seamlessly to my home yesterday (BTW, the delivery guys were super nice). Really amazing customer service. We spent $5k on a mattress, loved it. Then I got pregnant and had to sleep on my side (typically a back sleeper) and started having hip pain. I was super sad, and didn't expect to have any options because we already bought the mattress and slept on it for ~4-5 months. I called them as a long shot, and they sent someone the next day to switch our extra-firm mattress to a regular firm! For FREE! I was shocked and so grateful. That fixed my problem and I love the mattress again. I am so happy we got it from then instead of another company, where I would have been told to trade in for a high fee. read more

After 5 years of use, the part that helped the bed elevate quit working. From halfway across the country, I contacted the store, who identified the defunct part, had it shipped to them FedEx, then had an employee make a personal visit to install it, all for free! I bought an organic latex mattress here about 11 years ago. Love it! It is starting to lose its bounce, so I decided to add a latex topper. I no longer live in Seattle and was passing through and didn't want to spend a lot of time on this. My sales person was awesome (I wish I could remember his name). I think he picked up on my desire to get it done quickly, but was still very thorough. I also appreciate that I was passing through after having been camping and certainly didn't look like someone who could afford to shop there, but there wasn't a single hint of judgement or hesitation on his part. He mentioned that he had worked for the company for about 20 years, and had started out in the warehouse. I love this, and I always want to support a business that treats their employees well!!! There is a reason this place is still in business after 50+ years... Customer service is top notch! We first came to purchase our mattress last summer and had the best sales experience w/ Joe. I usually don't equate buying mattresses to a pleasant experience, but theirs is a no pressure sales approach; and their knowledge and experience is plenty enough to convince anyone that this place has the best selection, and you seriously can't put a price on a good nights sleep! I had some issues trying to adjust to our new mattress, and they have been nothing but pleasant, helpful and accommodating in helping us make our mattress just right. Bedrooms & More came highly recommended by our chiropractor. We were more than happy for the recommendation after a disappointing buying experience from a major mattress brand/retailer. Our situation is a bit more complicated with my husband being a cancer survivor and the specific/limited options available to best suit his needs - add to that a bed that also worked for me, fitting within a reasonable budget. Our initial setup wasn't quite as ideal as we had hoped. Luis from the sales team was great in providing us with some additional options. What we hadn't expected was the above and beyond from the owners, Drew and Blake. They took the time to meet with us in person to discuss our needs, came through with even more solutions (solutions we hadn't realized were possible), and even came to our home to help with the installation setup. This not only speaks to the bed's flexibility and the store's vast options, but it also shows how much their customers mean to them. We went through a few variations before we landed on our final setup. The response times were always fast, and parts/options were available immediately, oftentimes within a day or two. (This alone was a night and day experience from the previous retailer, who would take weeks to respond.) We are so grateful to Bedrooms & More for restoring our faith in the mattress-buying process. Everything from my last review about the good service still stands, but their new building sure is nice! Make sure you don't judge it by the old smaller building (which is still in use for certain types of items), because the new one is a beautiful showcase for beds and mattresses! It's at nearly the same location, just opposite ends of the same block. We recently went back to get new beds when one of our old beds collapsed. It lasted from Montana to California to Washington (and another move in WA), but that many moves is hard on the cheap bed that it had been, so we went to Bedrooms & More to get something much better. Roommate got a bed with really nice storage drawers under it and I got a bed with a bamboo headboard. Tiger bamboo... once I heard that I really didn't have another option. =^_^= Also got a new mattress which is now my favorite mattress I've had so far (of the 3 I can still remember). Delivery was great, they set up both beds and took away the old mattress, all in a very reasonable amount of time. read more

After purchasing a very comfortable matress 2 years ago from Bedrooms & More, we decided to upgrade our sheets and pillow cases. We bought bamboo sheets yesterday and slept on them last night. They weren't to our liking. I called the store today and not only did the store owner let us return our used merchandise, but he offered to drive to our house to bring a replacement. Got a great education in mattresses from a very helpful sales manager who directed me to the price range I requested. Did not try to upsell me, though it turns out mattresses are a lot more expensive than I realized. I ended up with a mattress made in Auburn, WA. Had delivery scheduled for Jan 1, 2022, scheduled well before the big snow storm occurred. Never expected the delivery guys to show up that date after a week's worth of closed roads. But 9am there they were! Polite, helpful, efficient and took away our old mattress. I was first referred to Bedrooms and More in 2014, and we bought our first latex bed. Loved it so much that when life happened and I needed a new bed, that's the first place I went. Patrick was my first contact and as he helped me make a choice, he was fun, interesting but most of all super helpful. Sadly, the bed isn't as awesome as I wanted, but there was a promise of "if it isn't right, we'll make it right" or close to that. I was a bit slow and thus thrilled when Luis said come in and let's work through this. (I think I should have handled this a month ago) AMAZINGLY, Luis Miranda made my experience spectacular. As I described the pain points, he listened, offered ideas, and said come in and try a few toppers and a firmer bed. In one hour, the decision became clear... and I get to swap the latex core for a firmer solution. AND if I decide to get the topper, I can call, order and have it delivered with the core. It's a most pleasant experience and most reasonable solution...not free, but reasonable. If you are in the market for a bed, bedding, or seeking more comfortable sleep options, don't buy anywhere else until you talk to Bedrooms and More. No pressure, great information, and who doesn't want to get a great nights sleep. Oh yeah, the beds last. My ex still loves the original bed after 7 years. read more

We shopped for futons while in Seattle area, and this was the first place we shopped. Excellent customer service and selection. Very high end couches, but if you have money, they are worth it. We shopped at a few other places for futons, and most offered poor quality stuff that will break in a couple years. If you are looking for cheap dorm type, frat house stuff that's gonna wind up on a curb in two years, go to those other places. I'm tired of buying stuff that has to be replaced over and over. So we went back here and bought a futon. A couple of nice guys came, the next day!!! They assembled it. Glad it came in boxes so it fit easily up the stairs. Best delivery fee I ever paid. We were very lucky to have been shopping while Luis Miranda was on duty! After searching online and in person at various businesses for quite a while, we settled on a chair that Mr. Miranda helped us to locate. Although the chairs on display at both the main store (on the corner of 4th Ave NE & NE 45th St) and the old B&M store (on the corner of Latona Ave NE and NE 45th St. - now used for clearance) were beautiful, we could not settle on the size or color available in the store. Mr. Miranda patiently left us to check things out on our own and when we approached him with questions, he spent time searching about the inventory database and helped us understand the product we were researching. This was an incredible experience as I am making my way toward adulthood (read: leaving the IKEA furniture world). I was in the market for a Queen sized mattress and my gf lives just around the corner from this place, so I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. There was super low-pressure, personal sales person (Rich) walking me through ALL THE OPTIONS (when did bedding get so intense?) and explaining all of the new technology (?!) of bedding. Anyway he got me a pillow to lounge around and left me alone as I pretended to snooze throughout the store. I finally chose my bed, did a little paperwork and for just $53 bucks they were to deliver it the next business day -- incredible. The delivery guys were right on time, kind and carried it up/in and onto the frame. This was a great experience, I'll be sure to pass it to my friends as they too leave the world of bullshit IKEA mattresses and back pain. read more

Great shop, great service, great selection. The staff were friendly and patient with our kids who were running all over the place until they told us about the kids area under the stairs. They served coffee and clementines and have a clean bathroom and water fountain. This place reminds us very much of Hoot Judkins from the San Francisco bay area. We purchased a futon mattress, futon cover and frame. The price was very reasonable (we got an additional 15% discount for the floor model) and they delivered the next day (a Sunday!). The woman who helped us has worked there since 1977. Highly recommended, in particular because we moved from California and are so out of our element, friendly service makes the transition much easier. We also found exactly what we were looking for. Update: Within an hour of posting this review, I was contacted by the owner, Jeff. He left me his phone number so we could speak by phone and he apologized profusely for this incident. He assured me that this is not how this should have gone and that he has addressed this with the staff member. I feel a lot better about the customer service here, and it is clear to me that he prioritizes taking good care of customers. I updated my rating to reflect the experience I had with Jeff, and I appreciate the steps he is taking to address this and help me resolve my issue. ----------- My review has two parts: first, my experience with the staff at the store and, second, my experience with the warehouse staff. 1. Store staff I called the store today to ask about getting replacement pieces for a bunkbed I bought from this store nine years ago. I spoke with a staff member named Shamron. I explained that I would like to sell this bed so that I can buy bigger beds for my bigger kids, but I needed to replace the pegs needed for bunking the beds. The staff member did not take any information about what kind of bed it is, what part is missing, or anything else that would be pertinent to helping me. He talked over me several times when I tried to convey this info to tell me that they don't do replacement parts, I would have to buy an entire set if I wanted the part. First of all, I am trying to SELL my set, not purchase another one. When I asked if there may be someone else available who knew how I may get replacement parts, he said, "Everyone else is busy and they will tell you the same thing. I'm the owner's son and I've been working here for ten years. Just trust me on this." It just didn't seem right to me that this should be such an impossible task, so I asked if it may be possible to speak with the warehouse staff, as they had been helpful in locating a part I had needed in the past. He gave me the warehouse phone number and the name of the manager to speak with. 2. Warehouse staff I spoke with Michael in the warehouse. He was friendly and helpful took down the necessary information and said he would see what he could do and call me back. About 45 minutes later, he called back and apologized that they didn't have the part I needed, but provided me with all of the manufacturing info necessary and suggested I contact the manufacturer directly to see if they may be able to help, especially since there is still a year remaining on my ten year warranty. I did so, and this solved my problem, my parts will be arriving within two weeks. Five stars for Michael, he was an excellent help. I do not understand why the store staff did not offer this solution? The beds were great quality, they lasted us nine years. I would have bought two more beds from them to replace the beds I'm selling if I felt valued as a customer but, after my conversation with Shamron today, I am not comfortable shopping here. read more
