Aqua chino shorts re ordered, only to encounter the same disappointing situation. Once again, a stain on the shorts( see pic) under belt loops. It took nearly an hour to arrange a return due to an issue with their system. Prior to picking up order, I made sure to have a mask as per Targets requirement at the customer service counter, yet when the manager approached, I had to ask her to put on a mask. In addition, several customers at the counter were not masked up. So, here we are. Over a month later, 2 unsuccessful attempts to order aqua shorts without a stain and severe wrinkles/pre worn. I'm planning to order again and certainly will update with the results. "Expect more, pay less" I've paid with time and frustration, not to mention the original sale price for the initial order 30 days ago has expired, so I'm paying more( the reg price) because of no apparent quality assurance. I noticed the stains almost immediately. To the managers credit, she did issue a $10 gift card. It wasn't necessary, but certainly a decent customer service gesture. I will be donating it. I would really appreciate a stain free pair of Aqua shorts that have not been pre worn. read more

If you've ever been to this Target, you know they are known for two things - homeless people in the downtown Seattle area causing a scene, trying to steal, or their crazy long checkout lines. Surprisingly after coming here the last few times, I feel like this Target has made great strides. The security is present at all times and you feel like you can browse peacefully and the checkout lines have drastically improved in speed. The last purchase I made here was a mix of groceries and things like naan, tomatoes, and a bowl which was super reasonable in price. I am glad this Target is getting their act together because I tend to stop by here on a daily basis. Cheers to the management for showing that they care about their customers! read more

I had the worst encounter at target today. I went to order coffee at starbucks and forgot my belongings (worth $75-80) there. I went up to 3rd floor to look for stuff and realised that I left my belonging at entrance at union and 2nd ave only to realise that muy stuff had been thrown out without even considering it to be kept in lost and found or reporting it or announcing it. I wandered on streets with my 3 year old in hope to find it but never got a clue who picked it up. That's how target treats customer's belongings. VERY DISAPPOINTED! I absolutely loved that there is a Target so close to our hotel. We were able to stock up on essentials such as water because our hotel room was so dry. The self check out it was really quick and the target itself was really clean and organize despite the remodeling / construction going on outside. staff was super friendly to assist me when I needed help finding chapstick.10/10!!!! read more

Avoid Downtown Seattle Target Pick-up Service It takes a lot for many of us to shop downtown now. I have no complaints about Target Inc. or it's products. I'm appreciative that they have urban stores for those of us who dislike driving to the suburbs. However today I went to pick up a pre-paid $22 order. I was met by employee named "Troy". I tried to show him my scan but the wi-fi service was not working so instead I showed him my email of the order on my iPad. He was hostile and would not allow me to get my order. I started to just cancel it and order the items from Amazon, as I commonly do for their top notch service. I was finally able to see my scan code when the wifi started working again as I was speaking to the store manager. I took a photo of Troy as I left the store. wanted to remember him and not make personal contact with him again. As I did, the woman standing next to him put her hand over his face to block the photo, much like a Seattle protestor would do to a local media person. Fortunately, I had already snapped the photo of him and the manager as a reference. It should be known I have dealt with other employees in this position for at least a year and they were always kind and appreciative of my business including another off-duty police officer who was providing security. I assume the good employees I previously dealt with have left and I was dealing with over zealous, eager-beaver new hires. I did not have any resolution from the so-called manager who was not customer oriented. I know it is hard to hire good people in the retail business for minimum wage and the "... pickins' are slim". BTW, it is common to see many transients outside the store coming down from meth and heroin so avoid this store after dark. . read more

This Target is amazing. We are visiting from California and Oregon where our Target stores are closed, moved, or in suburbia. Yes, the aisles are guarded like Fort Knox, but there were lots of staff to help me secure my purchases. Once we...as a society ...stop condoning unfettered drug use on our streets, then perhaps our stores in the downtown corridor will have a more pleasant shopping vibe. read more

I ordered for pick up and it was ready fairly quickly, that's one star. I went to pick it up and was being helped by a new employee. I could tell because she acted as such. That wasn't my issue. My issue was that she was asking for help from two other employees who weren't bothering to help. One walked off and told her to ask someone else and the other girl barely paid any attention. I was on a time crunch, hence why I ordered for pick up, and because no employee wanted to help her, it took her longer than it should have. She was hesitant to ask for help which makes sense since they weren't much help anyway. My product works great. That the second star. Awful store. The staff are bothered by any requests or questions, they are there to socialize and hate when you need anything. They make you feel like you are interrupting their chat every single time. Order Ahead rarely works properly, they either forget items or the items they pick are expired. The only reason we use this location is convenience, but we avoid it whenever possible. Lots of things are often out of stock too. The only employees who work hard are the security people making sure the unhoused can't steal some milk to stay alive. read more

Staying in the Newmark Tower, this was the perfection. Seriously, it couldn't have gotten any better. When I travel, I like to use full size items for my daily routine, so this spot made it perfect to get what I needed. Also, it made it great for making meals inside, as it was easily convenient. Also, this location was perfect to buy what was needed and return items that I wouldn't be going back to California with me, such as swim towels, full size bottle shampoos, etc. Parking looks like a nightmare, but for me, it was a easy elevator ride downstairs. Couldn't have been more convenient. Just a wonderful bonus really to staying in the Newmark Tower. I asked where a few items were located at this is a 3 level Target, but no one could direct me to the right place. In fact, it seemed like everyone that worked here was a new hire in training almost. This Target really just has essentials, as they don't have the capacity to carry everything a normal Target would offer. Also, no public bathrooms. People come on in and shoplift in broad daylight with no care in the world as there are no repercussions. It's definitely a lot sketchier than ever before. I know this is a chain and they're the same all over. I felt the need to point this Target out because it's at a great and convenient location. When you're a tourist staying in the area and found yourself missing some essentials like contact lens solution and milk for the kids or maybe a sweater or jacket for a kid who left theirs at the ferris wheel ride... it's good to know you can quickly grab the essentials and not worry about the tourist mark-up. read more

Had to purchase another suitcase for our travels while on vacation. The store had ONLY self checkout. We used self checkout and had to get help bc we accidentally scanned suitcase twice as it was bulky and hard to get up on scanner. We walked right out the store with it after paying no problem. After spending $50 in uber there and back to hotel realized the next morning they didn't remove the sensor. Called the store and explained our problem and was told to come back to the store. I explained I couldn't spend another $50 in uber just to remove a sensor. He was unwilling to help me any other way. I placed an order for pickup and drove 45 mins to get there. Barely made it before the closing time (this is the only target that I know of that closes at 8pm). It was in front of the door by 7:56pm and the doors were closed. I could see a couple of people inside and tried to get their attention to open the door. An older lady started walking towards the door and I thought she was going to open it, then another lady inside waved at her not to open it. I called target customer care to contact the store and just asked them to please give me my order, which I urgently needed. The customer agent was absolutely no help! He gave me a reference number and asked me to give it to someone at the store. After I explicitly told him that I couldn't access anyone at the store. It's clean, well-organized, and every time I've been in here I'm happy to find or see something new. (Like a bucket of 50-Fireball single shots for your next party!) I placed an order at Target.com at 1:13 a.m. to be delivered at 9a.m. I waited until 10:45 before receiving a message from Shipt, stating they couldn't start until 11 a.m. That's unacceptable when they had all that time to contact me. This unassuming Target located near Pikes Place Market has everything you need compacted to three floors. The outside of this store is a hive of sketchy activity. However, the inside of the store is super clean with the red and white signatory stripes throughout the store. The first floor slated for food items have shelves filled with snacks, refrigerated foods, and other packaged foods. The second floor and upwards has all the standard cleaning, toiletries, bath, clothes, toys, electronics, toys and decor. It's amazing that this downtown location is structured like a normal Target in the suburbs so the shopping is similar and pleasant. Although due to space limitations the amount of inventory is a bit less. However, I have found that when every store lacked cleaning items and toilet paper..this store was well stocked. I think most of the clientele here are tourists so the store does have a large number of Seattle memorabilia and trinkets on the top floor near the exiting registers. And all the registers are self checkout with almost no human interaction...which is nice when you are in a hurry to grab and go. read more

Target has been changing their whole interior look to a more open space theme but I was surprised how "non-target" feel it had. It was overly crowded, the lines for check out was confusing and blocking the main way to the escalators. As entering into the target through the elevators, I had a hard time figuring out how to maneuver through the space. There were no elevators to the top floors so I needed to carry my items up to the second floor (which there it had a cart escalator to the third floor). The space in general was over crowded and made me feel closed in. Every open space actually had carts piled up with excess clothes and possibly returned items. Overall experience wasn't very great. Two stars because of the convenience of parking and restroom when it's hard to find one in the busy-ness of downtown seattle. We are staying in Seattle for a few months so we've had to stock up on many of the essentials that you would need on a daily basis--- household goods and food primarily. Consequently, we've already made 3 visits to this location within the first 2 weeks of our stay. I've found this location to have a decent selection. Not as good as a larger store obviously, but enough of the major essential items. The location is especially convenient being the only major retailer with this amount of selection in the vicinity of where we are staying. I also give them credit for keeping prices decently reasonable despite what is probably some crazy rent. Drawbacks: Carts are quite dirty likely due to use by the homeless or just being left in the nasty downtown area. Register lines are often lengthy but still move decently quick. The 3-floor layout, while pushing a cart, can be quite irritating especially since we always needed to go to each floor during each visit. And again, although the selection was decent, they still were short in several areas. read more

This Target store is located in Downtown Seattle, across from the Pike Place Market. This particular store has 3 levels, with the food/ grocery on the first floor. This is also the floor where the registers are. I wished there were registers on all the other floors so that you don't have to go down to the first. There always seemed to be a line for the registers on both of my visits to this store. The restrooms (clean) are on the 3rd floor, along with the electronics. Upon one of my visits, I was looking for a space heater (yes I know I know you Seattle-ians consider it to be rather warm/ hot out right now but I think this weather is just too cold. I am from So Cal so forgive me) and unfortunately they are not currently available, as they are seasoned item :( Anyways, if you buy any items, you will need to either bring your own bags or purchase one for $0.10 a piece (or you can just carry all of your items to your car). As for parking, there is street parking (metered and limited, make sure to read the signs) and also garage parking. For the under ground parking, the 1st 2 hours are free, but with a $20 minimum purchase. Overall, this Target store is just average at best for me. I love Target as much as the next person, but wasn't really impressed. If I lived around this area, I probably would find another location to become a regular at. read more

So I locate then men's bathroom and I begin my business and I look down and this Heroin syringe float up ( NEEDLE UP )... Pretty standard target located in downtown Seattle. It's perfect if you are staying near downtown and can walk although it does have a parking structure available. The service was meh to say the least as the team members seemed somewhat indifferent and didn't seem thrilled to help or even greet guests. read more

But there is still a lot of personal care and electronics. As with other Target stores lately, they have a free wifi signal. Not hard to find, it's right next to the Pike Public Market. The central city is the discount retailer frontier. As people move back into the central city, the discount retailer is following. They are building mult-story stores attached to parking garages. This downtown Seattle Target is one of these stores. I would explore it earlier this week. The downtown Seattle Target is three levels. Level 1 is a grocery store minus the fresh area departments such as a deli, produce, and fish. This is where the Starbucks (with only three seats) is. There are checkout lanes and an entrance to Union Street. Up on level 2, with an entrance to Pike Street (Seattle is very hilly here) is an entrance with checkout lanes. This level includes consumables, a pharmacy, pets supplies, and women's apparal. Up on level 3 is men's apparal, electronics, housewares, and other departments. The coolest thing about this Target is the parallel escalators. To the left is the people escalator where to the right is the shopping cart escalator. The uncoolest thing about this Target is no shoe department. For the most part this store is on target for convenience and competitive pricing. I did not see any instances of charging higher prices than a suburban Target. The selection of groceries was competitive to a suburban Target. It is also on target for store hours. I appreciated that is closed at 10 PM on Sunday. However this store is kind of off target for charging money for the shopping bag that is holding groceries that you brought from them. The cashier said that she will not charge for the bag. As I write this review, there is no major supermarket in downtown Seattle. The positive aspects of the CITY TARGET are the same as any other Target - it's convenient, generally clean, the workers are nice and quick, and hey, downtown needs this. I just don't like that I couldn't find certain things I needed when I was shopping here - like shaving cream (not shave GEL), dry shampoo, opague black tights, etc. Great that it's here, but more variety in the necessities would be appreciated. read more

Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, across from Pike Place Market, is this Target. It's three floors! The first floor has food, drinks, candy, and more. I decided to save this floor for last. I went up to the third floor first. Electronics and washrooms are up there. I managed to get a Snoopy cell phone case that was on sale. They had Pebble time round watches, but they weren't the style that I had wanted. If you want your purchase, like my phone case, in a paper bag, you have to shell out 5 cents. The salesperson didn't tell me that. I did the math. I then said no. Ridiculous! Tell me that information upfront, please. The second floor had women's clothing. I hope that I have got that right. I didn't buy any clothing. That's why I'm a bit fuzzy on this detail. I simply did some browsing. The first floor is amazing. I found lots of Pepperidge Farm cookies. I felt like buying every flavour, but was good. I went with chocolate lemon and banana nut cookies. There were (yes, they are all gone) yummy! There were three checkouts available. There was a bit of a wait, but I wasn't in any hurry. I was on vacation, after all. This Target was within walking distance from my hotel. Living in a big city of course there is bound to be some shop lifting and homelessness sadly. This target is huge 3 stories which is so great but most times I go, I don't feel safe. It's a hard area and the staff does their best but last time I went I was pushed out of the way by security and have seen many people stealing. I felt so bad for the workers they have to deal with this kind of stuff daily. It's so much of a hassle I've decided to go to targets that are 30+ minutes away even though this one is right down the street. When I'm shopping I don't want to have that extra stress just to grab a few necessities. Wouldn't recommend if you have kids or like some peaceful & safe shopping. read more
