I was looking for a luggage storage service in the area and Google quickly led me to The Purple Store. I didn't know what to expect other than PURPLE, but I was very much impressed by this shop. The luggage storage was a breeze. I did not make a reservation online, but the friendly staff were able to accommodate me with zero issue. When I returned from my adventures around downtown Seattle, I browsed the shop prior to picking up my bag. The shop is somewhat sorted by category. You want it? They have it. In purple. I picked up some purple trinkets and Purple Store swag for a friend and paid the very fair fee of $7 for my luggage storage and went on my way. Excellent all around. We had a few hours to kill before getting on cruise at Pier 66. We wanted to go to Pike's Market and this place will hold ur luggage for a reasonable fee, we had 6 pieces. Pier 66 is about a mile away. Customer Service Amazing. U could walk in and they take ur luggage. If u book it online there is an extra fee. Being a King's fan this is a cool place to buy purple stuff. Additionally it is half a block from Pike's. What a find. read more

Purple pleasure! Awesome folks! Used their luggage holding service while we waited to go to the airport (very convenient and useful). Got to the airport and realized I had accidentally left my priceless coffee mug on a nearby street corner. These kind folks went outside in the rain and were able to retrieve it from the clutches of disaster and mail it back to my home hundreds and hundreds of miles away! I'm forever Grateful. Parking in front is allowed for an hour and there are available parking lots in the area if you don't mind the walk. I would definitely check this out next time. Luggage Storage -Warning!! First off I want to say the Purple store luggage storage is in a convenient location, clean and secure a good place to use while touring Seattle. With that said, I'm VERY disappointed after doing my research before hand on the cost and using their services. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager was not!!! Both our check in and check out times happened to be exactly one minute before the hour and one minute after, this causing them to charge me an entire extra hour on both ends!! Upon inquiring about the over charge, the manger was very rude and short with me. Not even allowing me to ask questions. Her reply was "That's what the computer does, nothing I can do about it." This policy was NOT stated on their website or posted anywhere in the store. If I was aware of this added charge I would have made every effort to avoid the one minute over charge. It's unfortunate to have a great location to secure your luggage with terrible policy's and rude management! If you use this location I strongly recommend you watch the clock closely!! read more

Wow! Just wow! As the owner of a purple Jeep, I had no idea there was such a place. HOW DID I GET BY FIRE SO LONG? My people! In the store, they sell nothing but things that are purple. If you have someone on your list who loves the color purple, you will find many gifts to choose from. I've posted several pictures below. They have everything from apparel to accessories to Christmas ornaments, pet paraphernalia, bumper stickers... You name it! Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Dark purple is one of my least favorite colors so I didn't buy any clothes, however I got some grape soda by the register and a square of berry chocolate for 79¢. Both were good! They have nice clean bathrooms in here and were free for customers to use. There's also an adult only display section at the back if you lift the curtain which gave us a laugh. We accidentally stumbled upon this store on our way to check out Pikes Market. I'm so so so glad we did. Yes, its true!!! Everything is purple and its fabulous!!! My favorite color is green but purple is a close second (thanks BTS). The staff are really nice and you can tell enjoy working there. They have everything ...and its purple. Love this store! I came through Seattle for a cruise and decided to scroll the town. Then I saw the purple camo fatigues that I never seen before, and I had to go in the store! If you know me for more than 5 minutes, you'd know my favorite color is purple. On a visit to Seattle I've decided to make a trip to this store. I've purchased from their online store before, but figure it'd be a whole different experience shopping in person. It did not disappoint! I was greeted with "welcome home" as I entered the store to a sea of purple. They curated all sorts of stuff from clothing to kitchen items to anything else you didn't know come in purple. I ended up visiting the store 3 times during my 4-day trip, there was just so much to see! The folks who work here are very pleasant to chat with, they are probably used to crazy purple people who go "my preciousss...." and drooling all over their merchandise. This ended up being the highlight of my trip, beating out the concert I came here to see and all other touristy attractions. Everything is indeed purple. This newly opened store which took the place of a pawn shop is located in the market. What brought me in was my own curiosity. Is it a place for University of Washington gear or a clothing line. When I went in my curiosity changed to how this place came to be. It's like a mini Target where they have everything from clothes to apparel to kitchenware to umbrellas and even furniture. All purple of course. The selection was honestly pretty good. Nice shoes of all different textures and few shades. Prices were surprisingly affordable for the area. The service was very attentive and amiable. It was around 8:30 pm when we drove by. It was closed. The next day, I showed up just before 11 am, when it opens. There is parking on the sidestreet and at the back of the store. Everything in the store is purple. I was wearing purple pants. My nails had purple shellac. My purse is also purple. I belonged in this store. I was greeted my a cheerful woman who pointed out that the front of the store is the showroom. If I wanted anything, I should just let her know what the items are and she'd fetch them from the warehouse. Cool! The purple leather computer bags were nice, but they were on the steep side at around $400 USD. I also liked the purple Chinese slippers, but they did not seem like they'd be comfortable hours later. It sells anything purple that you can think, from clothes to cooking accessories. I got some nice items: - Purple wayfarer sunglasses - A purple penguin plush toy - A bumper sticker declaring that I love purple The woman got my goodies. The place accepts credit cards, including American Express. You get a purple receipt, naturally! She also threw in more bumperstickers for free. It was a kind gesture. I'd come back here again. What a fun store! Especially if you're a huge UW Husky fan! They have literally ever odd and end you can imagine in here in the color purple. It just so happens to be my favorite color so stepping in here is like stepping into a dreamworld viewed in purple colored lenses.
