Great experience from start to finish with Joybird and their Seattle showroom! First I called and spoke with Ernesto over the phone, to confirm some details about store hours and certain sofa models that would be available for me to see in person. When I arrived later that day, Ernesto greeted me at the store and spent the next 2+ hours patiently answering all of my questions, showing me various sofa options throughout the showroom and clearly explaining how the delivery process works. I wound up ordering the Briar sleeper sofa in royale peacock velvet and it delivered a few weeks later, a bit earlier than expected, which was awesome. The color is gorgeous, the texture is so luxurious, and it's durable enough to handle my kids and dog. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this couch and truly wouldn't change a thing. Also Juan with the delivery service went absolutely above and beyond getting this incredibly heavy piece of furniture moved into my apartment via stairs. No small feat, he was amazing and so friendly and positive. Soooo happy with my sofa (and matching ottoman), the Seattle showroom experience with Ernesto and the other lovely, friendly staff I encountered there, and the quality delivery experience. David immediately approached us for assistance and showed us the different set-up options, fabric choices, and other furniture I inquired about after seeing them online. Funny most of those great reviews are from people who work there or their wifes. Excited to get a couch and mattress, found something that worked. Waiting for my couch for about a week so when it came I didn't care that delivery guys chipped the the plastic post at the bottom of the couch. The cushions slip right out of place and the long lounge doesn't fit and hangs over. I got velcro for cushions but after about 7 months I couldn't stand it. I called just under a yr warranty and they said that's normal wear and tair and to bad then wanted me to pay for a new cushion. What about the warranty? The furniture is crap and they don't honor their written warranties. Come on, 1 owner under a yr and that's ware and tair. I won't shop there again and neither will my friends. Mor furniture never again. read more

I was looking for a new couch and had hard time buying it without seeing it IRL. We came to the shop on a busy Saturday and were greeted right away. A very nice sales associate approached us and was with us throughout the whole process of trying all the couches and trying to figure out the correct configuration of the couch. She gave us samples of the fabric and followed up the next day to see if we made the decision and if we had any more questions. Even sent me couple of different configurations of the modular couch so that I can see which one will work the best for our space. Thanks to Yume we were able to pick the right couch for us. It will arrive in April and I will update this review :) can't wait to see our new beauty in our house!!! read more

We had a wonderful experience shopping at Joybird in Seattle today. I found Joybird online and started with their online design tools, but I was happy to learn about a showroom in Seattle. We walked into the showroom with a list in mind wanting to see some of their pieces in person. After an appropriate amount of time we were approached by one of their designers, Christy. After asking us what we were looking for and assessing our familiarity with the pieces and options, she did a wonderful job of taking us through the showroom and helping us find what really worked for us. Christy took examples of all the swatches we liked and some she suggested. She had us start by trying out an example of a sofa to see how we liked the feel of it and give her our thoughts. Then she took us to an example of the sofa we had in mind. It turns out, it was bigger than we really wanted. Using our responses, she took us to a third one that we both loved the feel and look of, but wouldn't have picked online. She also helped us look at several accessory pieces and find ones that would work well with this sofa and in the space. Through this process she would put the big swatches on all the pieces so we could get a good idea of what we want and make sure each item compliments each other. It also turns out that the swatch we originally picked out is beautiful, but not what we decided on in the end. We're excited to receive our new pieces and put our new living room together! read more

Nice styles at a reasonable price. Staff are helpful in buying and selection. Unfortunately, quality can be dicey. We own four pieces and two had issues. Trying to get any respons from the store or customer service is impossible. On both we just gave up. read more

Jacy at Joybird was very helpful in selecting and ordering our sectional sofa. We were able to get the exact set up we wanted. She answered all of our questions via email in a timely manner after leaving the store. The sofa was produced and delivered ahead of schedule. We had one section that had a squeaky spring and Joybird sent someone to repair it within a few days. Jacy became aware of this and checked to make sure we were satisfied with the delivery and repair. She also offered complimentary throw pillows for our inconvenience. I would definitely order from Joybird again and would love to work with Jacy for our future purchases. read more

When we tried asking for help from the 3 employees standing at the counter chatting they gave us a look like how dare we ask and bother them. Yume Barrera-Matsudaira and the sales manager Jacy are absolutely best in class! From the second I walked into the Capitol Hill location I was greeted with a smile and kindness. Yume was my designer and she spent multiple hours working with me on the right size and color new couch for my new home. She was beyond outstanding, providing so much detail and care and had extremely helpful knowledge on the products, ultimately leading me to a decision to make a purchase. She emailed me details and gave me the opportunity to come back a few days later to finalize the purchase. Yume was nothing but extremely professional, knowledgeable, supportive and helpful during the entire process. She answered all of my questions and more! She provided detailed instructions on the after care and showed me multiple fabric options for different lifestyle choices, such as if you have any pets or small children. The store manager Jacy was very accommodating and helpful and answered all of my questions with great detail and care. Had a great experience shopping at the Seattle Joybird store. I was looking for a particular sofa which wasn't on display but Margot was super friendly and helpful and showed me similar pieces to what I was looking for. Margot was also great at helping to narrow down the type of fabric options that would best suit my family. Once we had the fabric picked Margot laid the large fabric swatches over the sofa which gave me a sense of what the finished product would look like. I left the store with fabric swatches to take home to make a final decision and Margot emailed me a link to the sofa I wanted to buy along with a coupon code making the ordering process easy and seamless.
