I wound up ordering the Briar sleeper sofa in royale peacock velvet and it delivered a few weeks later, a bit earlier than expected, which was awesome. The color is gorgeous, the texture is so luxurious, and it's durable enough to handle my kids and dog. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this couch and truly wouldn't change a thing. Also Juan with the delivery service went absolutely above and beyond getting this incredibly heavy piece of furniture moved into my apartment via stairs. No small feat, he was amazing and so friendly and positive. Soooo happy with my sofa (and matching ottoman), the Seattle showroom experience with Ernesto and the other lovely, friendly staff I encountered there, and the quality delivery experience. LOVE!

I finally decided to buy a professional office chair and Herman Miller is one of the top brands. Their Aeron chair is very popular because it is ergonomically designed and highly customizable. I was pretty sure that I wanted that chair, but the old fashioned part of me wanted to sit in one before purchasing online. I could only find one place in the Seattle area that sells new Herman Miller chairs and that is Design Within Reach. I was confused about the relationship, but Herman Miller owns Design Within Reach, so this is like their authorized showroom/retailer. I visited the store on a Sunday morning and I didn't have an appointment or anything. I went straight to the office chairs, but they also have a lot of other furniture (couches, tables, etc). The Aeron comes in three different sizes and they had one of each. A salesperson named Gary helped me and he was excellent. I already did a lot of research on this product and I could tell that Gary clearly knew his stuff. He did a great job of checking on me/answering my questions but he also gave me time and space to just sit and think about it. In the end, I'm really glad that I went to the store and had Gary help me place the order. I ended up making a couple of different decisions on the options than I would have otherwise. If you work for certain companies (Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, etc) you get a discount, so definitely ask about that. Otherwise I believe they have a 15% off sale twice a year. I received my chair about a week and a half after I ordered it. It is really a cool experience. They ship you a huge box, but you just need to open one side and then roll the chair out (it comes completely assembled)! I am happy with my purchase and I would recommend it to others.

The main reasons we ended up buying from Blu Dot were both the quality/great selection of the products and the genuine helpfulness of the manager and her co-workers. We found each of them to be very knowledgable about the products, while also extremely helpful and good natured; appreciating that it is a process of fine-tuning and decision making when purchasing furniture..we never felt pushed or under any pressure to hurry up. When it came time for delivery, the manager could not have been more helpful..she was very attentive to details and kept us fully informed. If we are in need of buying any additional furniture or accessories we would happily return to Blu Dot without hesitation.

Frustrating - until I looked at Dania. Walked in the door, was I greeted instantly by Mary Ann who didn't mess around. Took me straight to what I asked to see. A choice was easy because they had what I wanted. We arranged delivery. On the afternoon before the scheduled delivery, after all sorts of confirmations, I received a notice that the delivery was cancelled. WHAT??? Dinner party planned the next evening to inaugurate the new table. What kind of service did Dania have??? I found the answer. Table was delivered and assembled first thing the next morning. Dania had hired an expensive out-of-the-company delivery service in Oregon (I live in Seattle.) to drive north, stop on their way to pick up the table in Washington, and bring it to me. So, if you want excellent quality at a reasonable price sold by ethical people, Dania cannot be beat. Once again, thank you again, Dania, for doing the right thing.

Still no end tables. I recommend that if what you want is not in stock, don't buy it there and search for another source. In addition, everyone there must be on commission because if they are not the person collecting the commission, they are not going to help.

Low furniture, wall art, accessories, china and crystal; it's all here at Alchemy Collections. But something is different. Maybe it's the carefully chosen selection, maybe it's the refreshing color palette or the high ceilings and open space that somehow seems intimate. Or it could be the friendly, super helpful owners. Or the distinctly distinctive overall feel of what they've put together. There's a big selection of furniture in their space all coordinated with accessories such as rugs, lamps pillows and all that, kind of modern and smooth, a little bit Asian, some very statement furniture and some just good design that doesn't call too much attention to itself. And watch for their floor sample sales -- more good design at very reasonable prices.

Are you kidding me? Knowing I was already upset about missing the 6/16 date you'd think William would be on top of this. Nope. I had to call the store myself to see that they had missed, yet again. My advice....avoid at all cost unless you want a real headache on your hands. Really expected more integrity from such a store. Tried to contact Corporate Relax the Back for a "teachable moment" for this franchise and they couldn't care less. It's really a shame. Was really looking forward to surprising my 6'8" husband with this special chair for his height. Turned to Steelcase instead. Disappointed doesn't even cut it.

We tried calling the number and it said "Press 1 to talk to an associate," but pressing 1 simply made a robot list the store hours. There was a call button in the garage, which I pressed and got someone who seemed annoyed with me immediately. I tried explaining what happened and he said "This is Crate and Barrel, not CB2," but they have the same garage and as a customer I have no idea what the connection between the two is. I explained we couldn't get a hold of CB2 and he said in a very condescending and sarcastic tone, "Well, have you tried going in there?" No, I tried following the instructions from CB2 and it didn't work! We ended up re-parking the car and going in there, and they gave us the plates. after another bit of a wait. Why have instructions for parking in a garage and hitting a button that does literally nothing? When we brought these issues up (including the unreachable number) to the employees, they gave us a card with the exact same number which didn't work and said "Next time call this number." We told them this is the number we called which didn't work, and they said, "Oh, well we can't change that, that's up to corporate." I am never buying anything from here or Crate and Barrel again.

The buyers here really need to get out of the early 2000s with the micro-fleece throws, bedazzled cake stands, hand painted wine glasses, and yard "art" made from old car parts (it is probably still there in clearance). The only positive thing the stock did was make us laugh. You are surrounded by neighborhoods that have plenty of disposable income-why not cater to those households? Your current inventory can be found up and down the discount stores on Aurora Ave. Maybe the Issaquah location is better? Sure can not be worse...
