I second the person below who says not to come here. Their estimate for scanning a simple equipment return is 1.5 hours and didn't communicate that until I mentioned I'd come back from an errand as the wait was taking forever. Poor management and incompetence in how to prioritize and provide customer service. Do not come here. I'm going to Edmonds or Ballard instead to drop the equipment off. I've come here at four different times of the day from opening to just a 2 hours before closing to mid-afternoon and there is always a 2-hour wait there's they're so inefficient it's unbelievable this company so just don't come here I'm telling you. I'm Way beyond angry I've come here five times and every time it's a two-hour freaking wait. Just do what you can do online and just forget these so-called customer service stores they are the worst of the worst of any service industry and I mean that. I went to the Xfinity store today to drop off a modem for which we'd received a replacement/upgrade in the mail. The associate I spoke with was kind and helpful, but informed me that company policy dictated that only the primary account holder is able to drop off equipment returns and they wouldn't take back the modem from me since the account was in my partner's name. Again, I want to stress that the people I interacted with we great, but this proves once again what an incredibly difficult and painful customer experience this company provides. I will do absolutely anything in my power to avoid using Xfinity if I have any opportunity whatsoever in the future. read more

Horrible customer service. I had to provide them a death certificate multiple times for something as simple as closing an account after the passing of a family member. It was escalated multiple times and yet they were not helpful. The last time I went into this store, one employee had on ray-ban meta glasses so I declined to provide any personal information and left the store. I finally went to a different store and they helped me right away. read more

This place is set up to look a little like an Apple Store, which is always fast and efficient service. Don't let the setup fool you. Any transaction you have here will take at least 30 minutes. One star because Comcast closed a highly efficient, high capacity, but no-frills service center on Aurora Ave N and opened this fancy, but poorly staffed retail storefront in its place. I am a 75 year old who recently moved. I had xfinity in my last place. It was a contracted unit of a Shag bldg. I caught covid from my movers. I couldn't remember if I paid the bill or not...oh here comes a late payment and current payment due September 13th. They cut off all my service on Sunday the 9th. So I put full payment via check and snailmail. I uncabled everything. My credit rating is good. I added lots of gooodies to my xfinity because my move reduced my housing cost. I wanted to watch the Mariners. I am new back in town and wasn't aware the American baseball team wasn't available without cable. I have had cable since ...always had cable. They are so horrible when I think about how long I have been a customer under my husband's name- we have been separated for 5 years. The account was originally under my email. Same email. He didn't change it. We have separate bank accounts and I can look at his that comes to my email. Where is my email? Thank God for gmail. comcast /xfinity ANYBODY know the difference??? So this is toooooo difficult for customer service to understand. I moved out 5 years ago. my bank account last 4 are different. I had comcast in Spokane, can't remember Kentucky, but back here since 2023 in a collective contract first and an individual contract that began the end of July as I was moving in~ no whining but as I said, I have good credit even though I am sick with cancer and got covid for my 75th birthday they shut me off. Alexa is having trouble to the point I'm worried about her. She keeps trying. It'll be ok. Verizon 5g comes today for around $100 less per month. The bill was on the refrigerator magnet to attend to on Monday. A few days before the bill yes, double was due. Then I decide all cables out of my house. I just wanted to watch the M's. I love Mitch Haniger. I took him via Alaskan cruise in the disguise of a bobblehead, too cool off his injury. I have pictures. DO NOT sign up for XFinity. Our landlord made us get xfinity because thats what router our house had and while they were very nice (despite being very understaffed) in the store, I have had to call them every single month because they keep trying to scam us into paying more than the bill we were promised. I am a grad student who doesn't have time to change our wifi/streaming service log in (because they are all connected) but they suck and for the first two months our wifi was very unstable. read more

Had an increasingly poor picture issue during football games so I called Comcast and they recommended I swap out my X1 set top main box at my local Comcast Center asap. The Northgate store relocated to the West side of the torn up mall just a little south of the Barnes and Noble bookstore. I made an appointment online but got there earlier and the Front Desk buddy took care of me in minutes. No waiting, no problem with parking whatsoever like the previous Northgate or North Seattle locations. Guys at the Comcast Stores are always welcoming, knowledgeable and on point regarding service and equipment issues. Getting online or calling the Customer Service Centers are always lengthy, difficult to communicate with and a pain because they're always looking to upsell service plans, talk you into a security system or waste your time trying to get you to switch cellphone plans. My advice, if you are experiencing issues, head straight down to the Northgate Center and bypass the app, online or call centers. These guys rock. read more

Xfinity is the worst. I'm an authorized signer on my 89-year-old mother's Xfinity account. I finally bit the bullet and decided to pay Xfinity $700 more per year to upgrade her cable TV service. But Xfinity would not allow me to pick up the cable box for the upgrade -- she had to be present, with ID. Xfinity didn't tell me about this requirement when I ordered the service online or when I talked to an Xfinity representative about the order and the pickup. They only told me about it after I drove all the way across town to the store. I cancelled the upgrade. Horrible company. read more

The store experience itself was fine (staff was efficient and courteous). I was just there to return equipment after canceling my TV/Internet service. But the Xfinity service prices and support in general are poor. They seem optimized to pull in cash, and in my experience are not flexible to the needs of their customers. I feel badly for the people who've left Xfinity over issues stacked on issues. That just hasn't been my experience. 99% of the time, my trips there go smoothly, all my questions are answered, and they're super friendly and helpful. I got ONE surly CSR a few years ago....but aside from him, I've been VERY happy with them. I'm on an extremely limited, fixed income; and the people I've worked with there have always gone that extra mile to keep my services affordable. I've not had the best of luck when I've called customer service....so I just go to the store. I've gone enough times that I know it's not just a fluke. I signed up for Comcast over the phone last night and stopped by here to pick up equipment to self install my service. My promised 10-15 minute wait just hit 40 minutes. If I had known I would have gone done another errand while I waited. I then get my appointment and it literally took 60 seconds to complete. I asked Kyle - the queuing guy signing up people for appointments - while I was waiting if he could just grab the equipment when I arrived and he told me he's not authorized. Would have saved a lot of frustration of he could've helped. Half the time he was just standing there chatting with other frustrated people. This experience sucks. read more

Well here it goes. I get a 539.00 bill for an account that was closed in mid Feb. Come to find out that the person who received my equipment the day before my house sold/closed didn't do as she said she was doing to do. I called customer service - mind you, the robotic computerized answering service couldn't verify me so waited on hold. Eventually explaining that it was not done right and the buyers were set up to be billed from the day they purchased the home, I was told there was nothing that could be done over the phone. So I made the drive over to the north gate office, waited and eventually talked to a manager to cancel my account to the correct date. My bill shrunk down to 130.00 approx. Comcast was billing two people from the same cable lines from the same address, the greedy suckers. I decided to go ahead and simply cancel out my new account only 20 days young at the new address as I was within the 30 day cancellation time with no penalty. I remember that my new building uses WEBPASS through Google. I went back to my new condo and got the equipment for the new account and dropped it off downtown. The fact of the matter is I went to xfinity/Comcast the first time to cancel. Second time was to set up new account. Third time was because it wasn't working right. Fourth time was to correct first time not done right. Fifth time to get rid of equipment. Honestly over the years Comcast was so mean, abusive and bad waiting for hours for technicians to show up in a 4 hour window on day off, to find out they cancelled on their end without telling me. It's been a monopoly mostly in many areas and we have had both good/bad experiences. I thought they were getting better but when I made the decision to cancel yesterday for my new place, I felt very light and unburdened almost a feeling of complete contentment. I have had such a miserable time with them and it's not cheap, as it's one of my biggest utility expenses each month. I honestly am fully disgusted with Comcast. When I left I felt my words and suggestions had little impact. Their motto must be "let's just assume the customer is always wrong and a sucker". I dislike few companies more than Xfinity/Comcast. Try to go a different route if you have options open to you. read more

I decided to take my modem in for a swap out when it began giving us issues last weekend. I was dreading the lines and poor customer service I have received in the past but holy moley, Comcast has changed their tune! I showed up, checked in and was told it'd be about a 20 minute wait. I sat among the selection of comfortable chairs and was able to charge my phone while I waited. 10 minutes later I was approached and assured I was next. I was then offered a bottle of water and minutes later, they approached me and got me started. Easy modem swap out with a simple signature and I was on my way. I appreciate being able to drop off and pick up equipment as opposed to waiting for mail with other services. Internet service itself is reliable in Kenmore. Decided to purchase compatible modem and self install to save lease fee. Current download speeds exceed expectations (175-200mb/s). Upload speeds remain below international standards for this tier of service at approx 6mb/s. With Ring and other security cameras, upload speeds need to improve. Fees are very high for dedicated internet service without bundle as a result of very little local competition. If you don't stay on top of contracts, fees automatically increase to "standard rate" which is always 20% higher than annual contracts. read more

I had an old system in my house that needed updating to get some new channels. Somewhat grudgingly I went to the Xfinity store at Northgate in Seattle frankly expecting problems. I can now say I am very happy with this store and the people I have worked with. Lars was wonderful at the store in helping me navigate the systems, suggesting the course to take and getting things arranged. Technicians were then arranged and sent out by Lars/Xfinity Britton (sp?) and AJ showed up right on time. They are very pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They patiently answered all my questions. TV and internet were set up in good time and all are working very well My only regret is that I fumbled the after visit phone survey (my old brain and fingers started pushing the wrong buttons and I hung up quickly) I called the 800 ph # right after this to try to rectify this fumbling on my part but the survey already closed. So I left a long message with the 800 rep about how great Britton and AJ were on today's visit and apologizing for my bungled survey Very, very pleased with work the Lars, Britton, and AJ did. I have had zero good experiences with Comcast. A month ago I received a letter in the mail about new charges with no explanation as to what I had. I drove up to the store (after spending a lot of time on the phone with the Philippines) and was told that my bill was being raised by $10 to maintain the current service. I received an email confirming this. Today I was emailed a new "bill" but I had to jump through many hoops to see what I owed. I had expected to pay $10 more. After watching their video on how to read their bill, I owed three different amounts. I again drove up to the store. The woman said that I had to pay another $8.00 more than was originally told to me by her colleague. I'm still unclear about this. She was abrupt and treated me as if I were too stupid to read the fine print. If the bill were well written I shouldn't have to watch a video. This woman at the store was rude and said she would print me a bill. The new amount isn't on that bill either. I asked her to write it the amount by hand because she refused to send me an email. read more

Art Tison gave us the best experience I've ever had at an Xfinity Comcast store, hands down. He was polite, helpful, didn't push us into anything, and an all around great person to be around. Usually I dread going to Xfinity but Art did everything he could to make it a pleasurable experience.
