Nope, and nope. Printing used to be cheap, now they've decided to charge a minimum of $2 for a simple cents printing job. Random locations charge obscene prices for printing when UPS should be a free location to do so because of their business. I used to like UPS better than FedEx, I take it back. This is the second time I have been to this location and I was satisfied the first time, but Liam went above and BEYOND for me. Not only did he help me at each step in every way possible, but he did it with an authentic kindness and patience that I REALLY appreciate. I've come here many times and have always been satisfied, but todays experience went above and beyond. Jill was incredible! She was incredibly nice and friendly and went out of her way to help. I apologize for not knowing his name, but the gentleman with the long white beard was amazing as well. He helped the line move fast by asking folks one at a time what they needed and being proactive while people at the registers were getting helped. He was so nice and upbeat. I appreciate they're a small store trying to deal with a ton of customers, but the new no store label printing / print-your-own label system is awful. The only two available computers for customer printing are extremely slow. It took as much time for them to reboot as it took for the previous users to do everything they needed to do on them. Furthermore, the stations are placed right in the middle of the lines of foot traffic waiting to approach the counter, so if they ask you to print your own label, you're stuck standing encumbered with packages in the middle of the long line you just lost your spot in, with your email account open and facing the crowd. Oh, and if you use the computers at UPS location, keep your Amazon and email passwords close at hand for any returns without a QR code, otherwise, when you log on to their computer stations, you may have to reset them. And if you are a Google user, get ready for not one but two two-factor security verification prompts per use from these stations. I used the stations to log into Gmail twice in the space of 20 minutes and had to enter a total of 4 verification codes. I sincerely hope the process improves, because right now, the customer experience for printing shipping labels is a disaster. read more

I come here to return all my Amazon packages and if I have to ship anything UPS. Recently I returned 6 packages to Amazon and amazon stated they didn't receive the items yet. I've never had this happened. I called after hours and they actually called me right back. I said aren't you closed they said yes but still wanted to see how they could help. Who does that?! Ha! Glad they did cause they told me I had to call Amazon to sort it out and good thing I have the receipt of the returns. I just went into the UPS store, with so many packages. I was frantic, couldn't remember what label went to which package to do my Amazon returns, and was quite frankly in the most frazzled state, having come out of multiple meetings that had to deal with my personal life in shambles. I could've start started to cry, but luckily, I was fortunate enough to get Jill who helped me sort through things, and during the last 17 minutes that they were open, she was so patient and kind to me as we figured out which label went to which package and she made so many funny jokes that helped me calm down and feel better about not only the the packages but honestly about my life in general. I can't tell you the fallout that I've experienced personally, but in the few moments that I was with Jill, I felt like I could actually handle not only the mailing of multiple packages, but I could maybe even get a handle on my life again. Jill you made my day!! and I am driving away right now with tears in my eyes for how you were so kind to me.. This store is charging way too much for their services. Today I had a 3-lb. media package 12" x 10" x 4", and $70 was their lowest quote, and that was for ground. Faster shipping they quoted $100 and $130. I said, wait a minute here, I'm not shipping a television or a car. So I left, and went to my usual spot on Crown Hill, which is what I should have done first. $42 got me priority mail with extra insurance and signature confirmation, with packing materials and handling. It doesn't take a genius to see the difference between $42 and $130 for the same thing, or $100 or $70 for that matter. It's not a "feeling," it's just simple math. Be careful shipping your packages from this location. I carefully bubble-wrapped dozens of glass-framed posters and wall art and shipped them in a large picture box. This location laid the box on its side instead of upright and stacked other boxes on top, shattering every piece inside. Then they left the broken package at the distribution center for several weeks without reporting it and I was not able to get an answer on where my package was until a rep at the distribution center finally decided to do something about the damaged box and report its location. I ship often and usually with Fedex, who has their fair share of mishaps, but they are good about getting back to me quickly when a package is not on track. It's not the best experience but it is better than wondering where on the world my package could be for so long. In response to UPS reply: No thank you, I will leave my review with this store location, because I am well aware that this store is a franchise location and that my package was mishandled because I paid for the shipping with a corporate account, and packaged it all myself, so your location made no profit on the business and mishandled my package as a result. The solution is not paying you extra to do work I can do just as effectively myself, the solution is to make other consumers aware of your behind-closed-door practices so that they do not experience the same property damage and delays that I have experienced. read more

Missed a signature required delivery and was unsure if I would be home for the next attempt, so I paid a $6 upcharge to have my item sent to this UPS location for pickup after I got off work. At 6:33 pm I find that the delivery could not be completed and another attempt will be made the following day. I promptly went to the location at approximately 6:45 to inquire why my paid and confirmed redirected package couldn't be delivered during normal business hours and was first told that they haven't received any deliveries, then after some typing on the computer the associate suggested they may be full and didn't have room to accept packages for hold, then after some more typing on the computer was I simply given the useless 1-888 number because they had no idea where my package was or why it wasn't delivered and had no interest in finding the answers. Why on earth would the UPS system let me select a delivery location 12 hours in advance and the location not RESERVE a "spot" for a paid redirect? What's worse, for some unknown reason the UPS system then switched my pickup location without my authorization from an actual UPS "store" to the customer service counter in the HT Market (a grocery store), which is in the same complex as the UPS store! This attempted delivery was also unable to be delivered for some unknown reason despite the attempt being made at 1:30 pm on a Friday during normal market hours! In the end, I had to call and put a delivery hold at the main SODO distribution center to keep these useless "access points" from playing round robin with my parcel, and making my $41 two day shipping and redirect a complete waste of money. They obviously don't care about the customer if this is how they treat deliveries. I STILL don't understand how an official UPS "store" can turn away paid transfers - that defeats the whole purpose of sending a parcel to them instead of my home! read more

I'd understand if it was a technical issue. Things happen. But how is holding my property hostage and refusing to let me leave until I paid hidden fees I never agreed to, a technical issue? You really do have to inform customers about hidden charges before "no I refuse to meet you halfway in any circumstance because I already scanned this". This is where it becomes a shady business. I offered up many solutions like taking my item back home, packaging it, and bringing it back, or being back in 5 minutes with a box. Your employee held me at the store and said i had to purchase packaging or I couldn't leave. And he refused to give me my item until I paid for packaging. Sorry, but there's no talking yourself out of that one. Also, check your reviews. I'm not the only one that feels that customer service is next to non existant. The guy was dismissive, judgy, condescending, and unpleasant because I said I wasn't going to pay an extra fee I wasn't informed about in advance. There was no moment of, "Sorry for the inconvenience," "I'm sorry, this is a technical issue we're trying to fix". No apologies, or any attempts at being understanding. He just blamed me, like I did something wrong because I wasn't willing to be coerced into a hidden fee. He was clearly disinterested in meeting me halfway or acknowledging the unethical practice of forcing someone to pay for something they never agreed to. Look, I get if you actually can't do something. But the guy didn't seem interested in helping me even if he could. It was "No, I can't let this leave the store" on repeat. He was callous, rude, and not understanding. Please be upfront about ALL hidden charges before its "too late", (which is super fishy by the way). Really not a fan of how I was treated either. I'd give this store a -5 if I could. I walked in with a box that already had postage on it. I asked where I could drop it off. Every other UPS, USPS, FedEx and Sip 'n Ship I've visited has a place to just drop off packages that already have postage on them. But NO, not this one. The man at the counter barked at me to get in line. Then one of the men in line talked down to me, chiding me for "trying to skip the line." When I explained that I was simply looking for the place to drop off an already posted package, these two arrogant ugly jerks attacked me. Seriously?! NEVER GOING BACK TO THAT ABUSIVE PLACE. I have dropped off pre-labeled packages at this location many times and these guys have always been helpful and efficient. There have been times when I took a long time looking up the barcode or having to pull up multiple barcodes for individual packages, and they were extremely patient without rushing me, even when they were busy. They even offered to tape my packages that needed extra care for no charge. They have been extremely consistent in how they do business and ensure the same customer service standards every time. Granted, I have not dealt with them with anything else other than dropping off pre-labeled packages, but so far I have had the best experience at this UPS store compared to other ones I have visited in Seattle area. read more

Everyone is great. They know me by name, have fantastic service, and it's convenient to where I live. I love that my mail never gets stolen now. If I have any bulky packages, they offer to help me carry them out. Hubby and I have rented from them about 2.5 years now. The first 18 months we paid month to month or three months in advance. Last year we decided to switch to pay yearly. It's a fantastic deal for peace of mind and security. The only thing I would change is to have them open till 7pm seven days a week, but it's not a dealbreaker for us by any means, not even a reason to subtract a star. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could, they really go out of their way for customers and good value for the cost. Love this place. read more

THE BEST UPS store I've ever been to! I don't know how this place doesn't have an overall 5 star rating. I love this location! It's a bit small, but the workers here are extremely efficient and gets the line moving quickly. No matter how busy they are, they always provide a receipt whenever I drop off a package! I called in once to inquire about how their battery restrictions works, because I was trying to ship a Nintendo Switch. The associate who picked up the phone was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. I think his name was Alex? But I'm not 100% sure. I sell on Mercari A LOT, and this location also accepts USPS packages! The USPS store on Greenwood closes at 5 PM vs. UPS closing at 7 PM, so it's nice that I'm able to take my USPS orders and drop them off at the UPS store if I have orders to fulfill for both carriers. Understandably, they don't provide a receipt if you're dropping off a USPS package. Luckily, I haven't had any issues with a USPS package going missing. Recently, Mercari has rolled out this new UPS QR code program. Mercari says that if you show the UPS associate your QR code, they will pack and ship the item for you. Boy, this happened to be a crazy mess. I came in about a month ago and showed the associate the QR code, and I double checked to ask if he would pack and ship the item for me. He scanned my QR code, printed out the shipping label, and said that he would. That order went out the same day. A few days later, I returned to drop off some more Mercari orders. This time, the associate was telling me that I have to pack the item. It was very confusing since the associate thought that I was showing an Amazon QR code (which I don't blame him for since this Mercari program is really new, and UPS has only dealt with Amazon QR codes). Once we all got on the same page that the QR code was for Mercari, the associate was able to figure out how to print/work everything. He told me that he would pack my items, so I left it with him and got my receipt. After 5 days with no movement on the tracking, my buyer started getting doubts that I actually dropped off her order. I had more items that I needed to ship with UPS, so I went back the next day to inquire about whether or not I pack the item or if they pack the item. Turns out, Mercari's system is all sorts of messed up, and I'm supposed to pack the item. I inquired about the items I dropped off that had no movement, and John was extremely kind and helpful. He explained to me that he was in contact with Mercari regarding their system issue, and that's why the items haven't shipped out yet. I then asked if I could have my items back, because I could just go home and pack them myself. In order to avoid a hassle for me, John generously offered to pack and ship the items for me at no charge. I told him that I would really appreciate it, since my buyer was starting to get upset after seeing that there was no movement on the tracking. John informed me that he had no idea that Mercari was a selling platform, and thought that my items were an e-commerce return. He was apologetic, and he told me that he would have sent out the items the same day had he known that I was shipping something to a buyer. He said that he'll pack and ship my items right away, and that he'll deal with Mercari on his end for the reimbursement of the packing materials. I was speechless and appreciated his efforts so much! He was super kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! He could've easily handed me my items back for me to deal with myself, but he went above and beyond instead! He also asked that I send him a screenshot of the QR code so that he could forward it to Mercari and get some answers about their new program as well. Instead of telling me that he's unaware about how the new QR codes work and brushing me off, he's actively trying to get more information about the program so that this confusion/mixup doesn't happen again in the future. Great customer service skills, and this location will always be my go-to whenever I need to ship through UPS! read more

I came by with a Comcast package early in the day. There were two employees working and 4 customers in the wings. The employees worked efficiently and were very friendly, moving the line along as quickly as possible. I usually wouldn't bother writing a review for a chain/franchise because I expect that type of store to have mediocre service to begin with. I've been underwhelmed by this UPS Store for years, but today put me over the edge. TL;DR - misquoted by *over $100* for shipping an item I sold online. It was heavy and headed overseas, so I got a quote knowing that it would be very expensive to ship. I stopped by with my item a few days ago to get a quote for packaging and shipping. The person who helped me was surprisingly prompt and friendly. I got the quote I thought I needed, and passed the amount along to my buyer for payment. Today, after having collected shipping funds from my buyer, I took the item back to be boxed and shipped. The person who was helping me was either new or poorly trained because it took about 10 minutes from the time I started the transaction until I was informed that my quote was done incorrectly, both in shipping weight AND in excluding the packaging I had asked for. Double wrong. The other individual working was nice enough to comp the packaging, still leaving me paying $50 out of pocket over the quote. John, the manager, came out to speak with me, offered no accountability for the expensive error, nor did he offer to do anything to make it right. "I wasn't here to see the quote, so I can't say what's correct." Really? That's it? Could you take less responsibility for your employee's mistake? Do you think I take unboxed items to be shipped and say, "I'll pass on the packaging, thanks. I just want to know how much 60% of this will cost?" After talking to John, I can see why his employees are apathetic and probably hate their jobs. I wish them as people the best, but I'll be using another shipping provider that knows something about their line of business. read more
