Can someone fill me in on the newspaper holding guy that makes disparaging noises at me as I walk by? Weird.

Nevertheless, I have downgraded my rating to only four stars, because, before going to this service center, I had called the main FedEx number for information about it (although after hours). Try calling FedEx, main number, you'll see what an off-putting experience this is. The outmoded responses to phone inquiries are infuriating, and, in this era of AI, inexcusable.

Then he asked for the order number which I did not have as I ordered on Canva. Old glasses guy started yelling at me rather than helping for no reason, he did not want to help me and started servicing the other client besides me. I told him to chill out, I'm a client he is an employee don't give me this attitude. Today I visited your FedEx Office location to pick up an order under my name. I walked in, gave my ID, and started giving my order number. The employee kept asking me for the number even though he had already been holding my ID for about two minutes. The email from Canva clearly states: "1. Tell a storeperson you're collecting a Canva order. 2. Bring this email as proof of purchase. 3. Orders are held for 30 days." I showed the email, but instead of helping me, the glasses guy gave me attitude and started raising his voice, getting nervous and impatient. I told him calmly to chill out -- I'm the customer, and his job is to help, not scold people. Then another employee, Casey, jumped in and immediately became verbally aggressive. He raised his voice, put his hands up in front of me, and escalated the situation for no reason. It got to a point where I felt the need to start recording just to protect myself. As soon as I started filming, Casey said he wouldn't give me my order while I was recording and went to the back of the store. I kept asking for the manager's name, number, and for my order so I could leave. After I stopped recording, Casey finally came back out, asked for my name, and handed me the order. Turns out the order was already under my name and didn't require any number at all -- meaning I was yelled at by two employees for absolutely no reason. This behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and completely unnecessary. I'm requesting that this incident be reviewed, and I would like the store manager or district manager to contact me regarding appropriate action so situations like this don't happen to other customers.

Amazing management and ownership, constant dedication to their employees, and a drive to enhance customer experience were just a few things I noticed during my time there. As an employee, Sip and Ship truly engages with you as a member of a wider family and strives to build your character. I still go into the shop and am greeted with the same generosity as before. I would recommend Sip and Ship to anyone looking for employment. As a customer, Sip and Ship offers services I can't find anywhere else. It truly is a one-stop-shop, which can be hard to find (not to mention the additional customer service!). I see people connecting over coffee, hurrying to print out flyers for their band, and businesspeople shipping items internationally simultaneously. Pretty cool mix! To anyone considering Sip and Ship, remember that they're extremely adaptable. They can easily find a solution that fits whatever package or issue you may have, no matter the complexity. That is what I believe separates them from a conventional store.

Broadview

In spite of my mediocre "number of stars" review, I'm reluctant to change to another location yet…read more I don't know what problems the previous reviews had with the employees, I've never had an issue. Whenever I've had a question, they've always been forthcoming to the best of their ability. My only real complain (but a big one) is two-fold; I keep getting mail for someone with the same last name and in spite of my mentioning it several times, I still seem to be getting it. The second (and larger) complaint is some of my mail has not arrived. None of the packages that were larger than the mailbox itself, thankfully, but other mail. Not quite sure what the story is with that yet, but still looking into it. Parking is a craps-shoot as to whether you'll be able to park your car or not; I'd say I'm able to get a spot to park about 50% of the time I stop to check my mail, unless it's after 7pm when they're closed. They say you can arrange for email notifications when you get packages, but I've mentioned it twice to them and so far, no notifications, so I would not and do not count on that service. A previous review by someone indicated the after hours lock combo; that has been resolved and is easily usable if you have the code. A preview indicated that packages are all strung around in a corner where anyone can grab them, this is true. As I commented earlier however, I've never had a problem with any of my "larger than mailbox" packages getting to me, so in spite of this arrangement, I have no real complaints as far as not getting those, so far. To recap; the only reason I might decide to change locations is my in-box mail... I'm missing a few important items, and no idea where they're going to. My current hypothesis is the address, but no specific evidence of this so far so I'm not moving yet until/unless I find out for sure that's it. Would I recommend them? Overall, yes. Competitive prices for the mailboxes, adequate services for the price, they have a copy machine that is available, and they're right next door to a general teriyaki place if you're in the mood. :D

Note: this is not reviewing their shipping services…read more I had driven past Sip and Ship sites for years, Ballard now shuttered, and Greenwood remained open. However, their 2/25/26 IG post caught my attention with regards of their version of Cafe Besalu's ginger biscuit. Direct quote: "reimagined by our talented baker Emma in our little bakery corner. She's perfected the texture, warmth, and that signature ginger sparkle." Some background info: Cafe Besalu was a beloved pastry shop in Ballard from 2000 - 2017. When the original owner and his family moved to Spain, the shop was sold to Herkimer Coffee, which then later closed the site permanently in 2023. Their 3/2/26 IG post literally got me in my car..."Flaky. Buttery. Perfectly spiced with that subtle ginger warmth that makes you pause mid-bite. This isn't just a cookie. It's a little Ballard classic - now freshly baked, ready, and waiting for you." I was able to get a parking spot close to the shop, never been until that morning. I was literally floored that this indeed had shipping and retail areas, but also an actual cafe with onsite seating - cafe tables and a window facing counter. But oh my what stopped me in my tracks was seeing the pastry case. I haven't seen such a lovely display in awhile. It seems most places, product are stacked, messy display case trays full of crumbs and pastries askew. Clearly head baker, Emma, takes full pride with the variety of baked goods nicely curated. I was told that the ginger biscuits were just pulled from the oven an hour ago. I purchased two of them and also one each of the peanut butter cookie and ginger molasses cookie. Heavenly scents permeated my car as I drove back north. The ginger biscuit had a nice tender, moist crumb. The Homie savored this the same day and brought him back to his childhood. I ate mine the next day and it was superb. Perfect distribution of the candied ginger warmth and that notable bejeweled top texture. Delicious! The ginger molasses cookie had that perfect balance of crisp edges and moist chew. The sugar exterior literally sparkled when I photographed it while on a road trip stop. The peanut butter cookie was ginormous and was very delicate. It had broken into five pieces. It was relatively thin, had a sandy texture, and subtle peanut butter flavor. The Phinney Ridge - Greenwood - Ballard neighborhoods has quite a collection of indie cafes and bakeshops. I'll have to say that Sip & Ship in Greenwood provided that gotcha moment with their high quality, fresh baked goods. Note to self - they have shipping and notary services too. But those baked goods....definitely, I'll be back!
