I'll never go to the Post Office if I'm in a rush. If I do, it'll be either early in the morning, or sometime between 1-4pm. So yes, I do plan my trips to the post office because I know, that most like all businesses, they are busy during rush hours. Normally I'll wait about 5 minutes to see one of the girls. And I've got to say, they are extremely nice and patient. If I was one of them and saw all these negative reviews and have to deal with some of you, trust me, I would not be happy and you'll know it. But these girls are on another level and they understand your pain. About 1-1.5 weeks before Christmas day, I had to send out several gifts to some friends. They were all the same size, and I saw online that they had a local, one size, shipping box that is A LOT cheaper than their standard shipping. The only problem is that I had to order boxes online and I didn't know of this until I went to the Post Office and asked if they had those. The girl in front said they didn't have any because it had to be special ordered and delivered, which can take up to two weeks. She went around the office and found 2, which I need 15 but recommended I call other offices. Low and behold, after my fourth Post Office call, there was one in Mountlake Terrace that had several of them. I know that experience wasn't the best, but considering there were lots of impatient people in line in both locations, I think that just going out of their way to look for boxes that they didn't have an abundance of stock around was good enough service for me.

Called the Bothell-Beardslee office to find out that wasn't our post office for our address. Finally got hold of Monica at Mill Creek. Surprisingly, I wasn't waiting on hold too long before she picked up. Alleluia! She finally told me what was going on and said our mail was there for pick-up. She also told me just to ask for her so I don't have to wait in line to pick up our mail. That line was loooooooong! Monica to the rescue! We are still unclear when we will get regular mail service because the mailboxes are still not fixed tho?!?! That's another issue tho. We live in Lynnwood but will drive here for any of our mail needs. The staff has always been so…read morekind and courteous, especially around the holidays when we have many packages to ship. They are doing their best to work with the Covid guidelines and that is so appreciated, especially in a smaller space where interaction is necessary. Everyone still keeps a smile on their face (and yes, it's evident even with a mask in) and a positive attitude. The lobby always have a great supply of flat rate boxes and all the necessary forms. The self service kiosk is super helpful. We are super appreciative of everyone at this post office!!

I told him it was addressed to be at this address. Why would you send it back? Went to this post office and they had me speak to the supervisor who was patronizing telling me, "You don't know how it works here. You have to register your address." I said just tell me how to get my package back. She's like you can't. We already sent it back, but you can pay to get it back. I said I'm not paying for something that's your mistake. She said it's not our fault you didn't register. I have had more than half a dozen addresses and have never had to "register" with the local post office. No apology was ever made.
