In short This one is cool 'cause the drop box and ballot drop box are super easy to use. Long turnaround driveway with easy drive-through access. In long The PO is the PO pretty much everywhere. But not all of them set up the drop boxes easily, and that's 95% of the reason I go anymore. (I usually ship parcels through private carriers, for whatever reason. Probably because they're closer to my house). This is the closest drop box to my house. Yesterday, during errands, I found that another PO not only has no drop box outside (which I did know), but they now lock their lobby so you can't run in to drop an envelope. Been here a few times to mail things. 2 different employees I had were rude, impatient and condescending. Rather than being patient and helpful, they were snappy and frustrated and impatient. Purple hair lady is one of them. On the other hand, the gentleman, David, who works there is the opposite. Cheerful, patient, kind, and helpful. He makes me want to return for business there! Overall the customer service (besides David) needs to improve. You can kindly educate customers about the processes or misunderstandings without being rude. I primarily use the self-service postage and shipping options at this location, but love love love it! The only lobby that remains open after hours allowing you to handle your self-service shipping needs - such a LIFE SAVER!!!! The lobby has always been clean and stocked with flat rate, priority, and express USPS provided boxes and envelopes. Kiosks have always been in working order and easy to operate. This location remains active with PO Box owners and patrons alike, keeping a safe feeling of steady traffic after hours. Ample free parking in the private lot. Letter drop box in the roundabout to get to the parking lot, as well as a letter drop off and a pre-stamped package drop off in the lobby. Options for quick and convenient mailing services! I do wish there was a similar USPS further north offering the same after hours availability, but very thankful Mill Creek USPS still does! read more

Recently moved to Mill Creek and I wish this post office wasn't my nearest one. They've lost my mail after asking me to pay for postage due (46 cents). I've been back to the location multiple times trying to find my envelope that they asked me to pick up and pay for....I've spent more in gas than the 46 cents due because of them. Saying they don't know where the envelope is each time is insane. How is there not one designated spot for this type of mail? Clerk was extremely impatient, snapping at me immediately about needing to tape my box before my first question 'Do you sell tape for boxes?' Then immediately snapping about needing my ID, repeating himself and telling me 'I don't think you understand me' even as I tried to fish my wallet out of my pocket. Our neighborhood mailboxes were vandalized last week & our postal worker left a note saying, "No mail since 7/10, locks broken" with no other information. My husband's medication was supposed to come in and he badly needed that. So, I called USPS general help line, no luck...Got hung up on after waiting over 20 minutes. Called the Bothell-Beardslee office to find out that wasn't our post office for our address. Finally got hold of Monica at Mill Creek. Surprisingly, I wasn't waiting on hold too long before she picked up. Alleluia! She finally told me what was going on and said our mail was there for pick-up. She also told me just to ask for her so I don't have to wait in line to pick up our mail. That line was loooooooong! Monica to the rescue! We are still unclear when we will get regular mail service because the mailboxes are still not fixed tho?!?! That's another issue tho. #ThankYouThursday is dedicated the US Post Office Mill Creek team. I frequent this location on a regular basis I've never had a poor customer service experience. We have the kindest postal carrier, she always speaks to toddlers and goes the extra mile when it comes to larger items by placing it at the door. Considering all of the demands placed on possibly every post office branch I apply grace to the wait times; especially during the holidays. I highly recommend mailing your packages off 2-3 weeks ahead of time to ensure your package arrives ahead of the desired date. Lost my package within 2 hrs. Tracking shows delivery to my box but there was nothing so apparently they messed up and put it in someone else's. They're totally shrugged any responsibilities of lost package. Met another customer on my way out (after asking for the lost package 2 hours after so called delivered), she also got her package lost by same branch. I lost $35 worth of item. They put some one else's voting ballot and voter registration in my box all in the same day. Their box number is not even close to mine physically or in numeric. Basically beware of this post office. Used to be good and now they keep screwing things up. Good luck trying to speak with a supervisor if there's a problem. They're not even there anyway and won't answer the phone or call you back. It's a black hole. We're all paying more for postage cost but downgrade in service or delivery quality. It's not even busy season yet! What a joke! read more

Service level, politeness and wait times vary but have improved. I understand that USPO staffing is built around population in their zip code(s). Unfortunately this is the most convenient and closest 'local' post office for a large number of people who are not in the Mill Creek part of the 98012 zip codes. (Everett and Snohomish) The staff here in my experience is well informed, tenured and respectful to a point. They also don't suffer fools well and while some of them have thicker accents themselves, they don't mind treating those with challenged English skills a little but ... 'abruptly'. I have never left a bad review in my life. I only needed a few stamps to mail a large envelope (weighing 2 oz), an older Asian woman waved me over to her station and insisted I mail it as a package because it was "lumpy". It had a tiny paper clip sized bow on the card. I said oh no I don't want to pay $6 to mail an envelope I'll just take it home never mind. She took the envelope from me put the sticker on it and tossed it in the bin behind her and insisted I pay $6. She then looked at the other envelope said that zip code doesn't exist. I showed her the google maps address with zip code and she refused to look it up in the system. I took my other envelope home. I've never seen such a rude worker, ended up having to pay $6 just to mail an envelope. I will absolutely not be using this location again and I would advise against it. read more

Honestly would consider a move solely off the fact that I wouldn't be under this locations service area any more. This is the THIRD time the mail carrier has shoved a package into my mail box that is much too big for the slot, causing what I ordered to be broken and damaged. I have left notes asking them to use the available parcel lockers, they can even bring packages to the door. But nooo that's much too difficult. Instead they shove them in causing them to get stuck and me having to either rip the package apart and pry the item out from the mailbox, or hope they read the note and move it to a locker so I can actually receive it. read more

I came in today to send a critical doc. Line was long but moved fairly quickly for two clerks working. The clerk that assisted me was fast, courteous and knew his job well. They have gift cards for various stores and restaurants to send. I like the fact they have all the variety of stamps posted along the counter so I knew which ones I wanted when I reached the counter. I like to use different stamps for cards, gifts, etc. as a special touch. Parking lot was full but found a spot and got out fast. read more

I never thought I'd be leaving a positive review for a post office but after consistently receiving great service from this location I feel like they've definitely deserved it. I frequently ship pre-paid packages from this location and am used to seeing the tracking notification get scanned in the evening. One time when I didn't I called because I was concerned that something might have happened. The manager I spoke to was very kind and explained to me that during busy times (this was during the holiday's) the employees will sometimes skip the initial scan in order to meet the deadline of getting the packages on the truck. I really appreciated that she took the time to explain this to me and addressed my concerns. I called today because tracking showed that a package had been delivered to my mail box but it wasn't there. I checked right after the mail was delivered and am in a community mail box situation so my assumption was that it was put in the wrong box. The manager put me on hold and when she came back she let me know that she had messaged the driver and they would come back by to find my package and put it in my mail box. Every time I tell Amazon to drop USPS and go with their own delivery services, encouraging them to slash the USPS budget to nothing til employees make a mass exodus and get productive jobs in society. Purposely went there early to make sure I had the correct postage on a large envelope of importance, (4/29/19). This was at 8:20AM. 1 gal was ahead of me who absolutely needed items mailed and then had to be to work. She had been standing there since 8:10AM, as she wanted to be first in line to get to work on time. Mill Creek P. O. doesn't open until 8:30AM, or is supposed to. 8:30AM came and went. The gal ahead of me had to get to work,,8:35AM. I tried to call a stupid 1-800 number and listen to a bunch of nonsense. No one to talk to. No number to get a hold of someone to ask, "HEY, IS THE POST OFFICE GOING TO OPEN TODAY?" 8:40AM, people are knocking on the doors and windows. 8:45AM the line is all the way to the end of the building and starting to double around. 8:50AM I walk out to my car. Only the person I'm ok to interact is asian man who works there, but of course, I don't get to choose. They often treat the customers like their children, too. I've been to a lot of post offices in my life but I've decided that this one is far and away the worst. This is due to their 3rd-world DMV-level of customer service. I think that pretty much every time I've ever been here, they have never had more than two windows open and a line out the door. On this visit I thought I was going to have the best experience ever because though there were still only two windows open, there were only two people in line in front of me and two people at the windows. Unfortunately, as soon as one of those people left, the guy running the window turned around and walked into the back, never to be seen again. Immediately, the post office filled up to the point that the line was out the door, as usual and of course, the person at the other window had a complex shipment that was taking a long time. The remaining postal employee looked at the huge line and went to ring a buzzer that I assume was to alert other people in the back that more help was needed in the front. This alert was ignored the first couple of times she hit the button. The third time someone came grudgingly trudging out to run the second window and I got out. The thing is, this post office has five or six windows and I've been in here the last mailing day before Christmas and have never seen more than two open. The post office is the model for why you shouldn't put your trust in government to run anything. They have struggled for years to stay alive while complaining that no one sends letters anymore while other companies have become huge through the rise of eCommerce and Amazon is offering to stake individuals who want to start their own delivery services to keep up with the massive demand. This isn't all based on this post office. The experience is similar at every post office I visit. this one just happens to be slightly more awful than the rest. read more

The women behind the counter at this location always seem less than pleased to be there and as I wait in line, I always hope to get one of the guys. One of the women got an attitude with me one time when I asked for a piece of tape to tape my package after seeing another customer freely using a roll of tape on the counter...I was told I needed to buy some. I pointed out that the other customer had just used some and was told it was her roll. If it was hers, why did she leave it on the counter and thank them when she brought her package to them? I ended up leaving and driving down the street to another mailing place to avoid having to deal with this particular USPS employee's attitude because she had one during the entire exchange. read more
