When I walked in, the person at the counter measured/weighted my package but quoted me over $10 more than USPS for the same ground shipping. When I said "wow, why so much?", he replied back with "It would be the same at the post office" which is not the case because I just returned from the post office. And they also won't tell you that USPS' flat rate shipping boxes are cheaper than what they quoted me. I told him, I'll just take it back to the post office during normal business hours. When I returned home and I told my wife about this experience, she said warned me about this place as they tried charge her $1 to print a label for prepaid postage. I understand small businesses need to make some profit in order to stay in business but marking up 30% to 40% more than post office is probably not a good business strategy knowing USPS is one block away and UPS is just across the lot inside Staples. As much as I would like to support small businesses, I won't be coming back here again. Lesson learned.

Ok, so they put the label on the wrong box -- no biggie. After their ho-hum approach of "looking into it", it was pretty clear they didn't have a clue as to what happened to my books. No biggie: I requested that the owner, Anwer Mangrio, give me a call (I left multiple messages on his machine), but received no return call; he elected to put it all on the shoulders of the clerk rather than take responsibility. This struck me as irresponsible, and, quite frankly, cowardly. As someone who has owned businesses in the past, I always would work with customers on issues and never hid behind my employees. To be honest, I would have settled for a a small amount of store credit -- a simple gesture and admission that they had made a mistake. However, it was relayed to me by the clerk, that since I didn't purchase insurance, they could not file a claim. In other words, they were willing to file a claim with the carrier to pay for their mistake -- again offloading responsibility onto someone else. In summary: you'll likely be able to conduct simple transactions with everything going well; if it doesn't, don't expect the manager to react with integrity.

There was a hiccup with the English translation on the address and district code but initially no one knew why the hiccup on the program not allowing it to generate a shipment label but no one was willing to go the extra mile at other mail facilities to help me figure out the root cause other than to rudely and abruptly turn me away. One person at the regular post office outrightly refused to wait on me when she saw me holding a box with a label indicating cremated material. The 2nd postal office's postmaster offered reluctantly to get back but never did. I was mildly annoyed to say the least. The staffs I ran into at the mail station were so helpful no matter how backed up they were. In two different instance when Phil and Kim helped me, they treated me with utmost dignity and respect. I found what the problem may be and decided to go back to the mail station given how nice Phil was the first time. Kim helped me the second time. She was also beyond kind and patient and the transaction went through smoothly after the address was corrected. I didn't care if I had to spend a bit more knowing I can trust them and rely on them to do the job without giving me more grief like the ones at the postal services nearby. If you have fedex and mailing needs, Phil and Kim are the best. I was so relieved after going to them. It was not that much more in cost. It's so worth it!

You just scan your Qr code, print a label, put the label on a bag with your item, and dump it in the bin. You don't even need a box or tape, they handle it all! I also usually get my refund fully processed and returned within a few hours. It is SO easy. When I do have real packages, they are always quick and helpful. I feel like they understand what I need easily and I can just ask for something and get it. Always verifying addresses, printing receipts, being helpful in whatever way they can. I feel like they do go above and beyond here. Whether it's letting me use a little of their tape or getting me detailed tracking, I always walk in the door with a need and walk out with the need fulfilled. They rock!
