I was dreading having to ship my uncle's cremated remains overseas. It's not generally a quick transaction. There was a hiccup with the English translation on the address and district code but initially no one knew why the hiccup on the program not allowing it to generate a shipment label but no one was willing to go the extra mile at other mail facilities to help me figure out the root cause other than to rudely and abruptly turn me away. One person at the regular post office outrightly refused to wait on me when she saw me holding a box with a label indicating cremated material. The 2nd postal office's postmaster offered reluctantly to get back but never did. I was mildly annoyed to say the least. The staffs I ran into at the mail station were so helpful no matter how backed up they were. In two different instance when Phil and Kim helped me, they treated me with utmost dignity and respect. I found what the problem may be and decided to go back to the mail station given how nice Phil was the first time. Kim helped me the second time. She was also beyond kind and patient and the transaction went through smoothly after the address was corrected. I didn't care if I had to spend a bit more knowing I can trust them and rely on them to do the job without giving me more grief like the ones at the postal services nearby. If you have fedex and mailing needs, Phil and Kim are the best. I was so relieved after going to them. It was not that much more in cost. It's so worth it! read more

Run away from these guys! It's highly inadvisable to use these guys as a mailbox, especially as a small business owner. They deleted my box with no warning, and quite possibly provided the most passive aggressive response I've ever received as an entrepreneur. I'm not so much advising as I am begging people to never use this place, I asked what happened to the mail, he had a smirk on his face at first he said he threw it out. No phone call, no email, no letter letting their client know the box needs to be renewed for payment, there's plenty of safe places for a mailbox in Monroe, this is not one of them. read more

New owners makes all the difference. Two 5-Star examples of how... my senior citizen neighbor had an accident and needed to get some papers notarized. I drove her since she was still very sore and tired. He came out to the car so she didn't have to get out and stand while he took care of it. He made it simple, fast and showed incredible compassion for her. I have shipped several boxes and Fedex packages from here - it's been fast, affordable and they have all arrived where they needed and on time. I used to get mail and do printing services at the Mail Station quite frequently but the new owner is extremely rude and has terrible customer service. I tried several times to give him a chance but he over charged me and then made me pay for copies when his printer messed up. This is now a terrible business. Do not spend money here. read more

I would like to start with, I was surprised the first time I went there and was told it was a dollar to drop off USPS, which I see has been mentioned in a round about way in the reviews. However, the owner has a very valid point in that if someone comes in, uses their scale, etc. then expects their mail to get sent out for nothing, they are not indeed a paying customer. It was explained to me when I was asked for the dollar the first time that they have to drop the mail at the post office. I know that you can have mail pick ups arranged but regardless, why should this business mail your mail for you for free???? I have had a hard time finding a place to drop my USPS packages that is quick and convenient, the pickup service in this area is horrific, leaving me with shipping I need done. If it costs me a dollar, I have a choice to pay it or not, and I am gladly willing to do so. I have been greeted pleasantly every time I go there, my boxes get sent out and everyone is happy. I think that this business chooses to treat others as they are treated from what I'm hearing. As someone who goes out of my way to be polite and respectful, I have found that I am treated the same way in return here! I would recommend them highly if you want good service and expect to pay fairly for it. read more

I've had a virtual mailbox with them for a few years. I have my LLC registered at the virtual mailbox. I looked up my business information with the Secretary of State, and it says my business is inactive. Looking at the online view of the documents, I find they mailed a notice on 9/1, and a delinquent notice on 11/1. I looked in my virtual mail app, and neither are showing up. They aren't showing up as completed either. And yes, I'm current on my payments. The charge comes through every month. read more

Good prices, they let you know if you have mail or a package by text message. Good American small business that believes in the value of the US constitution and freedom. Refreshing. I feel my packages are safe there, (unlike the post office in town where I have had multiple thefts of high and low value items because the post office just leaves it out on their back porch on a pallet for anyone to walk by and swipe, which is why I switched to The MailStation.) Admittedly they don't like it when you leave packages there for weeks on end as they only have a small building and there is only so much space, but if you contact them to let them know you can't make it for a few days or even a couple weeks they are always understanding. It may be old fashioned but Communication is key. In this last decade disrespecting people by ghosting them is quite fashionable. Just don't be surprised if you lose your mailbox because you didn't pay your bill, they have to pay their bills too and they can't indefinitely hold a mailbox for you without payment or keep a package till you decide you don't have anything better to do but pick it up. read more

I have been a customer here for over a decade and a boxholder for almost that long. I have never had a problem with late or misdelivered mail. They are definitely a part of my team, accepting packages and mail so I don't have to worry about anyone taking stuff from my porch or mailbox. As mentioned by another reviewer, they promoted a candidate with a big sign, but that's ok. This is the United States where we can talk freely about candidates we like or do not, and people are free to operate small businesses to earn a living. The mailboxes are very reasonably priced and they provide a valuable and honest service. My only wish is that they could open for a time on Saturdays. If it were cost effective I guess they would do it, so it must not be. Thank you, Mail Station! read more

Was westbound entering Monroe today and saw a 'Western Union at the Mail Station' sign. So happened that I needed that service and found the store under a half mile drive away. Stepped into the otherwise empty store to overhear the clerk on an extended and somewhat concerning phone call. I had time to hear enough to jump to a mistaken conclusion that the operator was dealing with a major issue in her or a close one's life. After the call ended, I approached the counter and stated "For what it's worth, you have my thoughts or condolences" Turned out she was chatting with someone about President Trump and some of the "hopes" they shared on him getting things done right away. Wish this place felt the same about their customers. Here is the kicker. After the above, I said I'd like to use Western Union for a transfer. The response was that they haven't carried that service for years, possibly since a prior owner. She seemed unaware of the substantial sign stating otherwise on the Highway. I wish there was an option for no stars, the customer service was that bad. My wife took in two FedEx SmartPost packages for pickup by FedEx at the Mail Station. When we created the label through Ebay, using FedEx as the carrier, Ebay said we had to drop off the packages at a licensed FedEx drop-off center and listed the Mail Station in Monroe. The man at the counter was extremely rude to my wife and told her they can't take the packages, and that she would have to take them to USPS. She got me on the phone and I tried to explain that this is a FedEx service and it only transfers to USPS for delivery. I heard him say in a condescending way, "Now listen to me very carefully, this is USPS." He also said that if we left the packages there he could legally take them home with him. As my wife was leaving with our packages, she met the FedEx truck outside that had just pulled in. The driver confirmed that we were supposed to drop these packages at a FedEx drop-off center and the Mail Station should have taken them. He was very nice and took the two packages from her to ship. We will also be contacting FedEx to complain about their customer service, which in our opinion is horrible. Maybe other people have had a better experience, but based on this experience, and the rudeness we've experienced in the past, we would rather drive the extra distance to Woodinville that to step foot in their door again. Hopefully FedEx will license another drop-off center in Monroe. read more

I always come here and the lady with the grey hair is nice enough. Today I went in to mail a package and letters and got cursed at in a very loud voice by a balding middle aged man. I do not know their names, I'm sorry. I had a postage paid package and asked if they could mail it. The woman said it had to go to the post office. I very politely asked if it could go with all the packages behind the counter. That is when the man said "I'm not fu**ing hauling a package you didn't pay for here. You were clearly told you can't mail your fu**ing package here. End of discussion." I apologized and told him his response was not necessary, and he didn't need to yell at me. To which he replied "I'm not doing your fuc**ing work for you. You can take your own ass to the post office". I was shocked. Honestly, I've NEVER been spoken to that way....not even during my 6 years in the military. Please don't give this place your business. It's outrageous that people think it's ok to speak to others like that. I was just trying to shop local. read more

Came here because its the only fed ex place in town. They were really rude, refused to help me fill out the paper work even though I was the only customer in the store. When I asked does this come with insurance and if not how much would that be? The guy said I dont know and refused to sell me insurance... paid for 2 day shipping at 10 am they did not send my package with the daily drop off at 2 pm instead waited till the next day at 2 pm...never go here unless you have to! read more
