This is the cleanest laundromat I have ever been to. There are many two, three and five load machines available. To pay to use the machines, there is a card machine that you can charge to. I reloaded it once. The machines are unkept and all were in working order. A two load wash is $4.95. The 5 load wash is $9.30. It's perfect for the blankets and bathroom rugs I brought in. The machines are efficient and do a double rinse. There are also different size dryers for bulky loads. read more

I came in to do a simple load today and the woman working in a brown ponytail and loose black tank top showing her purple bra decided to pull this big hose out the wall, almost hitting my ankles multiple times and brought it over to vacuum around my bag and my feet. Then she went AROUND the Caucasian male next to me without disturbing him at all. She took a good while vacuuming by my bag and my feet and then just swung that thing around the entrance before having it roll back up and asking the male if he needed assistance. It is a card operated laundry that is very convenient they have industrial machines that make laundry go really fast. Most of the attendants are very helpful and keep the place pretty clean. I have used this laundromat a couple of times now. The first time because I had a bunch of bedding to wash, and the second time because the house where I am staying has funky well water, and I just didn't want to wash my clothes in it! The place is very clean. I was there yesterday, and one employee came through and swept the floors no fewer than 3 times in the 2 hours I was there. I noticed a piece of food on a table near the kids' play area (kids were gone), and the next time I looked, it was gone. They have video cameras that monitor the whole place, which I really appreciate. Years ago, when I took my Eddie Bauer down comforter to the laundromat in Woodinville, and spent half a day (chatting with the owners the whole time, so they very well knew it was my comforter), and a ton of money trying to get it all the way dry after I'd washed it, I ran a quick errand after I'd set it to dry yet again. When I returned, it had been stolen. The owners of that place did not care one little bit, so I have never been back. The owner of this place is really friendly and helpful, and there were others in there who seemed to be regulars, and she knew them by name. The payment system is a little odd, and takes some getting used to. You basically order a plastic debit card from a machine on the wall, then add cash dollars to the machine to fund it. The card costs $1, and you'll have it refunded when you turn it in, if the employees are still on-site. If you're there after they close, you either lose your dollar, or you just keep the card for future use. The prices seem reasonable in comparison to other places I have been. They have TONS of different size washers and dryers, so they can pretty much accommodate anything you need to wash/dry. The washers and dryers are pretty self-explanatory, though have a few little quirks that would be helpful to know ahead of time. For instance, I was running 2 loads of laundry yesterday, and one of them was dirtier than the other. I put them in at the same time, and started them at the same time. Then, as I was walking away, I noticed the machines blinking saying to add another 25 cents for the plus cycle, or something like that. I stared at it for awhile, trying to figure out what it was really saying, then stuck my card in the machine nearest me (the cleaner load), and it added 3 more minutes for 25 cents. I went to do the same to the other machine (the one I would have really preferred have an extra 3 minutes!) and the option was gone. I asked the owner, and she said once the option disappears, it's gone, and you can't get it back. Bummer! There are nice laundry carts available for your use, and you can even wheel them out to your car to load/unload, which is amazing. They have a few tables and chairs around the place, countertops for folding clothes, the kids' play area that I mentioned, free WIFI, laundry supplies available for purchase, and 2 entrances. read more

I've been using this laundromat for over seven years, and it's been under the same ownership the entire time - that alone is surprising. Most of the staff is the same as it was when I first visited - even more surprising. Telling you it's the best laundromat ever - probably not too surprising, after the first two statements. What's so great about it? 1. It's always clean. 2. Rarely is even one machine out of order - more than one? Never have I seen that. 3. Friendly, helpful staff - every day, all day. 4. An owner who actively works to keep "riff-raff" out... and I don't mean sometimes, and I don't mean based on looks... if you are using the building for inappropriate purposes, if you are disrupting business or harassing staff or customers, you will not be doing so for long! If you are there to do laundry, don't disrupt others or tie up the bathroom for an hour doing who-knows-what, no one will care what you're wearing or what you look like. Open late enough that those who work during the day can still do business there, and early enough that you don't feel you've wasted half the day just waiting for opening time - even on holidays. Honestly the best laundromat I have ever used. Your things actually get clean and the staff is always super helpful and friendly. I have never seen any scantily clad ladies running around, so I'm not sure if the person who wrote that went into the laundromat and not the lingerie/sex shop down the street. With that said, you don't have to look at something if you don't want to and I don't particularly have any objections to women or men dressing how they wish to. I finally went in search of a laundromat since our new home isn't ready and we've been loving out of our suitcase. In this small town of Monroe I've just had my socks knocked off. There is only one in town, Monroe Laundry Company, and it is the best laundromat I've ever seen. It has friendly and helpful attendants, is clean, organized, with lots of quality machines in 4 different sizes, sturdy laundry trolleys, a kid's play area, nice bistro seating with tables, soda and candy machines and a back door that opens automatically (because your hands are full of laundry!), magazines and 4 TVs! I am full time RV person , and I love clean laundry . Sometimes It is hard to find a good place to do that . When I am in Monroe , and that is quite often , I always come here . The facility is new and amazing , and the staff are even better . I usually have them do my laundry for many reasons . They are great at it . It costs basically , twice as much as doing it myself , but it always comes out sparkling clean and folded like I can not match . They seem genuinely happy to see my dirty laundry , even the socks and underware , and they never fail to smile when i come in . Personally , I always "tip" the folder (hint hint), but that is definitely not expected by them . I know , because of the way the thank me when I do . The laundromat is clean, has a modern feel, and Dustan was very helpful in explaining the Easy Card for the machines. The machines were quick and did a great job of getting our clothes clean. We had been camping for a week and playing in the river so I knew the machine had a tough job to handle. My only complaint was that one of the employees had her 4 children at work with her. They were rude, obnoxious, loud and interrupted the clients and other workers constantly. The owner is very kind to let his employees bring their kids to work, but when 80% of your work day is yelling and chasing your kids down, I'm surprised they are still employed. I would have given 5 stars but due to the fact of the constant disruption and being shot at with rubber bands by an employees kids it made getting my chores done a hassle. read more

Nicest laundromat I've been to in the puget sound area. Lots of big washers and dryers that work well. Facility is clean and recently remodeled. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are vending machines for soap and softener. Machines run off a laundry card which can be easily purchased on site with cash. There is an ATM as well, should you need it. A pleasure to do laundry all day! The WIFI service works very well. Plenty fast enough. I was able to wash an ungodly amount of laundry and still keep up with my software-industry work from home job all day long. All of the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if the prices are competitive or not, I don't usually use laundromats but we had a special need and this was the place which advertised WIFI service so this is where I went. Large dryers were $0.99 per 10 minutes, smaller ones were $0.89 per 10 minutes. The BIG washers were about 6 bucks per load but just about took a full 50 gallon trashbag of clothes with each load. the slightly smaller washers were about 4 bucks per load. Everything runs off of cash cards you get here at the laundromat. Top ups are cash only but they do have an ATM on site (though I couldn't get it to work so I went across the street and used the Key Bank ATM. Over all this was a great experience. I am not sure why this place gets 5 stars. Their self service is not only expensive you have to pay $1 for their "card " with no other option to pay. Their bathrooms aren't open past 6pm and the machines have only water temp settings. Nothing for delicates. I won't be coming back. The place is clean I will give it that. I only use laundromats when I need to wash large comforters or blankets that don't fit in my washer at home - so rarely. This facility is excellent! I think most of th equipment is brand new. Staff is very helpful. All machines are operated using prepaid laundry cards so you don't have to feed 25 quarters into the jumbo machine. Lower prices for cold water wash and different size dryers with different prices. Best part is if you're an infrequent user they'll refund the balance from your wash card so you don't have to keep track of it until the next visit (for me would be 6-12 months). read more

We had several loads of laundry to do, and spent over two hours at the Snohomish store. Since the machines could handle larger loads we spent far less time than I anticipated there. We were greeted by Dustan who helped me figure out their card system for their machines. The whole time we were there customers were in and out of the store. Dustan greeted everyone and was constantly checking to make sure we were doing okay or if we needed any help. The prices were a little higher than I expected but when I saw what we were getting from their washers and dryers I realized their pricing was just fine. You also get a refund for the credit left on the card. Dustan is the reason I'm writing this review though. I hope the owners recognize what a great job he does with their customers. read more

My first trip to this laundry mat, and I was totally impressed! We have a washer and dryer at home, but I needed to wash comforters. This place is very clean, it has multiple sizes of washers (double and triple size ) which fit my king sized comforters, dryers worked great and they have a card system (no quarters needed). The machines were all clean and new. The service attendant Dustan, gave me directions over the phone, helped me with all my questions and finding the right size washer. He gave excellent service and was constantly cleaning the facility. The floors were so clean, seriously, it's well worth the drive over from Woodinville. Hopefully the owner opens a place like this on the Eastside (Redmond, Kirkland, or Woodinville area)! read more

I don't use laundromats very often, but like most people I have the occasional king-size comforter to wash and it's a mite more than my washer/dryer at home can handle. So, over the years I have visited a quite a few laundromats. Monroe Laundry Company is quite a surprise compared to the average laundromat! It's not the same old 'room full of washing and drying machines' you usually find. They actually decorated the place! And there are flat-screen TVs scattered around too. All of the washers are the side-loading type which use less water while doing a better wash job overall. The big in-wall dryers are conveniently close to the washers, so transferring your load from washer to dryer is a breeze. I fault them on one thing - there are few folding tables. That's a little bit of a drag. The washers and dryers are not coin operated. Instead, you buy a card for $1.25 and then charge it with however much money you plan to spend there. The card is purchased and charged from a machine near the back door. This was a little bit confusing to me at first - I think they should put up a few prominent signs explaining this. Later I saw it explained on one of the TVs, but those operate on a roller system so these instructions are not always visible. No worries though; once I figured it out, the system was very easy to operate. The bathroom was clean and relatively modern, compared to what I have found at other laundromats. Overall the entire facility is VERY clean compared to other laundromats I have visited, and not as hot and stuffy as these places can often be. There's lots of parking around back, also a good thing. All in all, once you have figured out the card payment system, a cut above the normal laundromat experience. read more

I like it much better than the little run down rat hole I use to use. And there's lots of nice places on the same block and the next block over to walk to while waiting.
