I do laundry at home; however, I need to use a laundry mat to wash my king-sized comforter. I decided to try Laundry Genius since they have more free parking than my usual laundry mat has. Laundry Genius is modern compared to the surrounding laundry mats. Coins are not used at all. Cash and/or credit/EBT cards are transferred to a Laundry Genius laundry card (think grocery store savings cards). There is a $1 service charge applied to the first transaction. Be sure to save this card for future uses to avoid the $ service charge each time. Pricing is clearly listed at the card terminal area. Laundry Genius doesn't open as early as other mats do; opening is at 9am. Last wash is at 7:30pm. Indoors is spacious and bright. Washing and dryer machines are plentiful. Several rolling basket carts are available to assist with laundry transportation. There is a good deal of seats for those who wish to stay on-site while doing their laundry. Vending machines are on site providing laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. I spend around $18 to wash my comforter and around $3.50 to dry it. At first, I was shocked at the price difference from surrounding mats; however, you get what you pay for. Increased pricing saves me time by not having to search high and low for quarters. Quality and the quantity of machines ensures that I do not have to wait for availability or continue to add time and money to drying times. I appreciate that the staff are constantly walking around wiping down machines, sweeping and replacing laundry carts to their correct location making my entire experience feel clean and efficient. read more

I really liked this laundromat! It has been a LONG time since I have had a need to use a laundromat, but they've really improved in that time. First, this place doesn't use quarters, so don't go get any. They aren't going to be needed. Second, you put cash in a machine and it spits out a card with your cash amount on it. There was only a $1 fee for the card, so when I put $20 in, the balance on the card was $19. Refilling the card is free without any sort of fee and that process was easy too. This place was very clean and the machines were nice and I thought reasonably priced. Using the machines with the card was easy too. I really have no complaints and if I lived in the area, I would use this place to do a lot of loads at once because it was just so pleasant! Highly recommend!! read more

So I usually do my laundry at home but my husband who works from home in the basement is always cold and got two blankets you wear . Our washer and dryer are not big enough So I came for the first time .the lady helped me so much explain everything ( they don't use change you have to buy a card for $1 and you just keep reloading money onto it Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday from 9-11 am you get a discount for washer and dryer. I am giving it four stars because it is way over priced. I have been to multiple laundry places since moving to Everett and this one made me do a double look when I saw the price. I only go to do my big blankets and usually use the biggest machine they have. The most I have paid anywhere is 9 dollars. 15 bucks for one load. I spent close to 40 bucks washing and drying two queen size blankets. The place it self is very nice and clean. They have a good amount of washers and dryers I didn't have to wait to use any. This laundromat has lots of different load size options, room, supplies for purchase, a team always available to help you, and it's so clean and nice that you wouldn't know it's in downtown Everett. I've never been to a laundromat before this one so I don't have anything to compare it to but I never leave feeling like I've spent more money than it was worth. I've also never had an issue that the employees weren't able to help me with. Lastly, I appreciate the Laundry Cat app. I don't like to carry around extra cards so being able to pay with my phone using the app is super helpful. Never been to such a nice laundromat before. Having stepped in one about 20 years ago - wow how things have changed. With the technology and quality of washers and dryers here I highly recommend giving it a shot. I had to clean some of our work cloths and clothes. I had zero idea what I was doing - I brought pounds of quarters. Lol. To my surprise you put your balance on a card that is $1.00 (you can have it registered in case you lose it!) and then whatever credit you wish to have. This is the first laundromat I have ever been to. I needed large washers to wash all of my sheets, comforters and blankets and doing 10 different loads at home was not an option. Upon stepping inside, the place is very clean and bright. There were 2 attendants on staff to help customers and keep everything sanitized. This laundromat is cashless and everything is run from a reloadable card. They have 4 different sized washers ranging from SM to XL. I'm not sure if the price is reasonable, as this is my first time in a laundromat. The larger dryers charge 0.45 per 5 minutes of drying time. Happy hour is Tues, Wed and Thurs from 8am to 11am. My washing machine quit working and we used this laundromat a few times. Really didn't like the idea of a laundromat and was not enthused for it to be in Everett. The business is spotless, the staff was always friendly and helpful and the customers were quiet or friendly. I really thought it would be a level of 'scary' considering the area but the business is beautiful. Had to come to clean my large king comforter. Just moved to the area from Lynnwood and had gone to a laundromat down the street. Left the other place because machines were all broken and they wanted to charge $3 for a laundry card. Came here and was greeted immediately and walked through their card process. New cards cost under $1. Facility is super clean and all machines are working. Will be coming back to clean my comforter as needed. Friendly staff really makes the difference. Staff are rude, all machines taken, dryers stop during dry cycle so you have to pay more...You have to buy a separate card, then load money on it, with a minimum to use the machines then end up losing what's saved on your card. When it rains, it pours, amirite? So of course my dryer breaks down during a chaotic week and I have 2 loads of wet clothes to dry - EEK! I search up laundromats near me, find this place, looks good, jump in the car, and wow it's really close by! Immediately upon walking in I'm like "ok this is the nicest laundromat I've ever been in"! It's sparkling clean, smells amazing, lots of light coming in from outside, and a super friendly staff member greeted me immediately. The machine to buy and load a card was easy to use - LOVE the fact you don't need coins or cash for this place! They have so many machines and they are nice and BIG! I dried 2 loads of clothes in 1 dryer for less than 2 bucks AND it was done in 20 minutes. This is better than doing laundry at home haha!! Thanks, Laundry Genius for saving my sanity today! Clean, friendly place. The high efficiency washers get my clothes cleaner than most home machines and the high-speed spin extracts enough water so that my clothes dry quickly. By going to Laundry Genius, I spend less time on laundry, even when adding in time to load and unload laundry from the car. Note: I generally spend around $20 to complete 4-6 loads of laundry. Though I often see people using the extreme capacity washers for small loads and therefore spending way more than they should. read more

Excellent staff who takes good care of their customers. Had an issue with the card load machine and my bank with floating funds. Spoke to the night manager Kon(?) about it and she followed through with providing a solution and a way to follow through with the technical issue. Turns out the funds just needed a moment and no harm was done. She gave me a free dry cycle to make sure I made the cutoff time and let me keep the funds. 10/10 service, will be returning in the future. read more

I will admit, I've never had to use a laundromat before. My washing machine broke and it will be a while til I can get the part to fix it so I had to do some laundry here. This place is super clean and has a lot of machines. But the best part was the employee who helped me. I regret not getting her name but she had red hair and I came in on Tuesday around 2:00pm. She helped me get everything started and she had such a pleasant demeanor. I was having a really bad day when I first came in and her kindness put me at ease and because of her customer service, I will continue to come here until I get my washer fixed and again should I ever need to use a laundromat after that. Brand new laundry in Everett! Clean, New machines, nice customer service in a very good location. I had a lot of cleaning to do so I got everything together but I didn't want to travel 15 miles all the way to Snohomish and Cheyanne, one of the best, where I had been going. Then I noticed the new place about two miles away down Evergreen just before you get to the Boeing freeway going south on the left. The attendants were really helpful. Robin during the week and Kate on the weekends. Don't be afraid of the new washers, the girls will show you how to use them, and the dryers are a bargain. You can actually tailor your load to these washers, because they have several different sizes (that work). The place is spotless, antiseptic clean, smells good, clean restrooms with places to sit with a nice table, not worn out like most of Everett's other laundrys. Try it out! read more

We were traveling through town and decided to do laundry here. It was very clean and had an attendant which I would have given 4-5 stars, but I lost money. While I loaded laundry my husband purchased a card/ticket for $30 to start the machines. You cannot use coin AND the card/ticket machine states no refunds, so we paid an extra $2.90 to do laundry (balance left on card when we were done). Prior to using the machine it states how much to wash a load using cold water but not how much for hot or with the extra rinse. How do you figure out the exact amount? Prior to giving away the $2.90 I spent on just washing the clothes an average of about $7 per load for 2 medium and 1 small machines. They washed for 31 & 33 min (I used hot and warm water, one machine be had extra rinse cycle). I don't recall the dryer fees. I was able to load the three washers into two dryers and it took 25 mins for them to be completely dry. Total spent on actual charges $27.10. This place is expensive. read more
