Blue Lagoon was my first time using a card lock laundromat. I had no clue what I was doing, but the woman working (I'm assuming the owner) came over to help me and was very nice. There was only ONE machine in the entire mat that was out of order. At any other place id expect to see a lot more. So having the option of using just about any machine here is great. i carried my dirty laundry on the bus from mukilteo and arrived here at 8:00. They advertise being open until 10:00. When I arrived the door was locked and the employees nwouldn't let me in. They told me (through the locked front door) that they were closed, no explanation as to why. The lights were on and it wasn't cleaned up like it would be at closing time I think the workers just wanted to leave work early so they were trying to close the place! I had to take my dirty laundry back home on the bus. I hope the young ladies that were working tonight get fired! Really impressed with this business in a busy little strip mall that caters to Spanish speakers, but don't let that stop you from patronizing them! They speak English and are very polite. I came in just before the 830/last load cut off, which was explained to me, and is noted on their website. Big place, lots of places to sit and wait for your laundry. Love that this place is opener later than any other laundromats. Had to drive out of my way to find one that wasn't closed at "9pm aka last wash is at 730." This place the last wash is at 830p thankfully!! I'm such a newbie but the lady worker was very helpful and friendly, greatly appreciated that after having a stressful day! The Blue Lagoon Laundry facility stole my money, don't use them! I had money on one of their special cards you need to purchase and load with cash in order to do laundry. I came back to use it, all of 8 months later, and was told not only can I not use it but they "threw away the machine" that can read how much it had on it, and so they're just going to be keeping the money and not doing anything about it. Absurd! Just literal, blatant theft, and they're going to get away with it since it's too low an amount to take legal action over. I don't care about the money, it's the principle of it, if you take money to provide a service you should either provide a service or give the money back. read more

Manager/owner NEEDS to learn customer service. Waited 10 mins while he looked at me and through his OPEN door complaining to someone on the other end about the staff (those ladies are the best). Then I tried again bc people have off days. While checking me out he proceeds to get on a personal phone call and left me waiting resulting in me taking my stuff and leaving NEVER RETURNING AGAIN!! This place is odd and expensive. You can't use cash, have to buy a card. The attendant is preoccupied with talking on the phone and is surly. Beer signs up everywhere, just an odd laundromat. It's no wonder they have no customers here. read more

Clean and the machines are working great. The only downside was they were no longer issuing new laundry cards (you need one to run the machines) and I had to rely and pay the attendants to get my machines started. It's convenient for washing my heavy blankets that won't fit my washer and dryer. read more

I went into the laundry mat for the 1st time today. At first the gal working was very kind and helpful. I needed a rug washed that a dog decided was his bathroom spot. I went to get my rug out of the dryer and my hamper I brought it in was gone! I had stepped outside for less then 10 mins. My car parked right in front of the laundry mat. There were about 4 people in there. Seemed like they were all related to the gal working. I can't help but think she is the one that took it. I stayed in the parking lot until they were closed and it took her 45 mins to actually get outside. Prior to her coming out, the others came in and out and seemed guilty and worried because I was still sitting there. Then her "boyfriend" pretended to drive away and at this point I drove around back to see if she was going out the back door with it. It disgust me that an employee would be so shady and take a hamper of all things! She drives (well, they all did) very nice, sporty cars. They all are in pristine condition, tented windows, and I'm sure all the extras inside the car. Yet they felt compelled to take a laundry hamper from someone?!?!? Blows my mind at how pathetic and low someone could stoop. I didn't even make a scene. I just shook my head and said "wow", "some scum stole my basket". She made sure to tell me to "have a good night". She constantly looked out the window after I left very nervously and worried the entire time I sat there. The look of guilt wore on her the rain coming down this evening. I will never go back there! i would prefer to give my money to a little hole in the wall joint who is honest. read more

This place is clean and for the most part very well taken care of....my only complaint is that THEY NEVER OPEN ON TIME!!!! Every Saturday or Sunday the guy is 5 to 10 mins late occasionally more. While I'm waiting I see cars pull in and then leave when they see it's dark and not open which is lost revenue. RIDICULOUS!!! read more

After having a horrible experience at Everett Laundry and being forced to leave with wet pillows and blankets, I called the blue lagoon. Victoria answered the phone, and I explained to her what had happened asking if I could bring my laundry in to dry. She reassured me that I would be able to dry my laundry so we rushed right down. We were able to dry 4 pillows( 1 king), an alternative down queen comforter, queen blanket, queen sheet and small quilt for under $4 for 30 minutes, and the clothes came out fluffy and dry actually hot, but the customer service that Victoria had was superb. Unlike what you find these days. We will definitely drive back for the customer service alone!!! read more

Very clean hispanic lady working sunday and Monday nights super nice helped get started. You dont have to buy a 3.00 dollar card but machine uses credit card type system. Or you can pay her the cash and she will start the machine. 3.75 for standard machine hold a decent load, and 8.75 for large. 1.20 for a large dryer or 2.40 for a huge giganto one.. overall great place. Very clean and tidy laundromat. Machines are card activated. Wash is 2.60 per 24 minute load, dryer is .95 for 20 minute hot dry. There are ample clean surfaces on which to fold and sort, and nice carts to transport your laundry from washer to dryer. Helpful english speaking staff on hand to provide help. Small flat screen TVs located throughout. You must reload your card with cash but for a 2 dollar surcharge they will run your credit/debit card at the counter. I've been going on Saturday evenings and it's been DEAD. plenty of machines to choose from. read more

Came here to wash some large comforters (dang living in an apartment). I don't go to laundromats often, but I remembered to bring my dryer sheets and detergent. If you happen to forget, they do have a little vending machine for soap, bleach and softeners. I also came prepared with my bajillion quarters, but this place only does cash that you load onto a laundry card. The worker here was nice enough to let me pay her in cash and she swiped her card (I didn't want to get one since I don't need another card in my wallet.) Since I had to use the giant washer for each of comforters it was 7.25 for each blanket which washes them for 24min. Now drying I put them in for 20min for 2bucks (not sure if that will be long enough). They have smaller washers where the price looks to be 5bucks. The facility is pretty clean and despite being on the notorious Casino Rd, I don't feel unsafe. I took one star off just for the inconvenience (for me) of the laundry card thing. read more

Closing time seems to change whenever they feel like it. Especially before a holiday. It is semi clean and sometimes doesn't have an attendant at all. The service and how clean it is seems to depend on which employee is working. I have been a regular for a few years and the service has gone downhill since then. read more

Clean, great service, and good prices. Derrick is great and so are all of the othe employees. Always friendly and the place is always clean. They don't allow people into the bathrooms without a key, which keeps the bathrooms from becoming a problem like some of the other laundromats I've seen. Prices are good for the size of the machines and the machines work great!! They have an ATM on site, but the machines run off of a card system which I prefer so I don't have to carry change on me. They will be upgrading their system soon. I have used their drop off service and highly recommend it as well. It was fast, relatively well priced, and they did an excellent job!! read more

Very nice place. Machines all seem to be working both times I've been there. Attendants seem very helpful and helpful. Nice atmosphere. A bit awkward payment system - you have to use a card you have to purchase there and recharge by adding to it...for one time use the attendant will let you use theirs for a small fee. It's not a bad place and their prices are decent. There are alot of machines to use and so far during the week they are dead so you can choose any machine you want. You will need to bring cash to add money to their wash cards because that's what their machines only take. There is a Mexican restaurant next door so if you are hungry you can get something to eat while you wait for your items to be done. They do have vending machines but I haven't used them. read more

Specific to a recent issue with employee & closing time: Please do not state you close at 9 if it directly states otherwise on the door. I only needed to use a dryer for 15 minutes for a few items that were already half dry. When I walk in & ask at 930 if I could use the dryer for that specific purpose (and I only did so to clarify because I saw that the OPEN sign was off--if it was on I would have just assumed it fine), I was bluntly and pretty coldly told that "no. we are closed and we close at 9" & was expected to get out with no further regard or explanation from the employee when I also asked about a change in hours. I actually already know everyone needs to be out by 10 and why, as I am a repeat customer here and have discussed these things with people who work here. I've never been treated this way at any laundromat. I have always respected the business, it closing time, and I also understand the various reasons as to why it is so strict. Let me just say though, it looks pretty bad if anyone comes in within the business hours just to get pushed away for no explanation, but especially if it is one that's loyal & has already paid a good amount of money towards consistently doing their laundry here. I understand the employee had any way of knowing this about me, but is why I gave a prior explanation of my last minute need tonight. When there are still a good amount of people present doing their laundry and/or sitting around just waiting for their load to be dry by closing, with the sign off before closing, and being told they close at another time, it does not look good professionally. Now I know not to even try to dry anything here past 9, and to not even do a full wash & dry past 7. read more

Have to say I'm incredibly thrilled to have these guys in the neighborhood. Given the location, I had my doubts but decided to give it a chance thanks to previous good reviews. The place is scrupulousLyn clean. I mean everything, even the numerous garbage cans! Yes you have to use a card as stated, but the young lady at the counter offered to let me use a "house" card since I only had two loads to do. Prices are competitive and more than fair given the non-icky nature of the place. Frankly, these guys should get a liquor license and have after hour theme nights like in Shameless!! read more

Very clean, easy parking. Not five stars for two reasons. 1. You have to buy a $3 card to use the machines​ and load money into it. That's ok if you're coming back, but inconvenient if you're​ passing through. There was, however, a very accommodating attendant who used her card and we paid her (there was a charge for credit card). 2. We had full on 4 alarm laundry emergency on our hands. Both washer and dryer were broken and drowning in laundry was taking on new meaning. I dropped off 160+ lbs of laundry at 10am and it was all washed dried and folded with care by 7pm. The price was fair the facility was clean and pleasant. Really clean and well maintained. The machines are card operated. Right now, the cards are free but normally cost $3. I'm glad I came when the cards didn't cost more! I needed to wash a quilt and a comforter, which would normally be two loads in my machine at home and require careful distribution. Twenty minutes and one $7.50 load later, I'm drying everything for a $2/20 minute load. Plenty of parking, a helpful attendant, plenty of chairs and stools near where you want them, and the machines work. What more do you want? Okay, so maybe less of the beachside bar theme, but I'll take that over broken machines and dubious looking laundry carts any day of the week. read more

Great customer service! Very friendly staff. In 1 hour, I did the equivalent of 7 loads. The clothes look and smell cleaner than when I was with my maytag at home. Worth every penny of the$25. I would have paid $50 to save my family from the heat that emanates from our dryer. read more

For the only laundromat on a road of apartments this place has been hiking up the price every few months. It's now around $26 to run a weeks worth of laundry for two. That's over $100 a month for LAUNDRY. All because they can. You are also required to buy a laundry reload card in order to work the machines. It used to be a lot better. read more

This being my first time using a laundromat service, I was skeptical dropping my clothes off with strangers. However, the reviews on here made it worth a try. I have had such a hard time keeping up with laundry after our third child being born. So my first order of 60lbs was dropped off yesterday a little after 4pm. They had it completed by 8pm that same day! The staff was amazing and friendly. The best part, they even matched up all the socks! I will definitely be going back now that our laundry is caught up. read more
