They did such an amazing job on my wedding dress. Not only did they clean it, and it was so muddy from walking around in the grass, but the preservation process was so thorough and beautiful. Absolutely worth $200 to have my dress forever preserved and protected from yellowing or mildew. I took them 15 work shirts & 2 Tommy Bahama shirts 17 total. I was told when I dropped them off they charge $3.50 per shirt This sounded ok... I just pick them up & was charged $90.00!!!!!! Why?? I was told "2 of your shirts were dry cleaned, & 2 required special attention"!!! $90.00 is more than I've ever paid for shirt laundry service!!! IM FURIOUS!!! The 2 Tommy Bahamas were dry cleaned!! I've never paid before for dry cleaning! The other 2 that required " special attention" I DONT KNOW WHY??!!! They never quoted this outrageous price to me when I dropped them off! This place is the best and fastest most reliable dry cleaning service I've ever used nationwide! Simeon runs the front desk and is the nicest most caring dry cleaner there is! I love making small talk with him when I drop and pick up my uniform every week from Hill Street Dry Cleaning. The 24 hour quick turn dry clean service is fast and is always reliable, and I've only had an issue with one of the ladies working at the front desk who is a little rude to customers. But other than having to deal with her from time to time, this place has amazing service! Highly recommend! read more

I dropped off a brand new bridesmaid dress in perfect condition to get hemmed, and picked it up today paying $80 and supposed to leave for the wedding in two days! But when I got it home one of the sleeves was half hanging off and missing a button along with very noticeable pinholes in the back and snags in the fabric! So so dissapointed, to pay that much to have it come back damaged. when I called they said to come in and they would make it right. So I took it in and they said they will fix it up "at no charge" to me. I at least expected making it right to mean a small refund for the damage! I will not be coming back and will not be reccomending hill street cleaners to anyone in the future. read more

This place really should be Hill Street Cleaners and formal wear outlet. Could care less about their customers. So far, they have done a pretty consistent job with my clothes. However other than verifying that I've been there before (in their cash register) and taking my clothes and promising them in three business days, the customer service here leaves something to be desired. I've been a customer of Hill Street cleaners for about 12 years. Never a lost or damaged piece of clothing and very honest and fair priced. More than once, I left a significant amount of cash in pants pockets and even a watch in my jacket pocket. They placed it in an envelope and returned it to me. Don't take your clothes here. They do not have your clothes ready when they are supposed to be. They hung up on me and wouldn't tell me their names. I was not given a number for the owner either. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I was told I spoke with Jackie who hung up on me. Carmel White would not give me the owners number or any contact info for a supervisor. This dry cleaner and laundry cannot seem to consistently remember to fold my shirts. Also they shrunk my best cashmere sweater and although they tried to stretch it (unsuccessfully) they basically ignored me when I suggested some compensation. Their's is the only dry cleaner in Monroe, I think they could benefit from some competition. read more

If you want your pants to have a few stains on them when you get them back - see Hill Street "cleaners". You'll get your shirts back with ripped pockets and burn marks on the collars. Someone please recommend a different dry cleaners in Monroe. read more

I would only give a half star if possible. Too Expensive Shoddy Work Stained Suit Horrible customer service. This place has no concept of customer service. They cost more than any other cleaner I've been to (possible because their the only cleaners in town). I originally took a suit in to be cleaned and repair a small rip. The repair work looked like something my five year old daughter would do. It looked worse than the original tear. I was huge and highly noticeable. When I took it up with them I got a "Nothing I can do about it", "Pay up now" attitude. I decided to give them a second chance and they got something on my suit jacket that bleached spots all over the lapel and right breast. Then they tried to blame it on me. And I got that treatment from the owner! I don't care if I have to drive to Sulton, Duval, Snohomish or Seattle for my cleaning I will never go here again. read more

I have a difficult to press set of slip covers for a sofa and loveseat. I had taken them elsewhere and was not happy. Hill Street Cleaners did a fabulous job!
