If you value your clothes, don't come here! Owners ruined a handmade shawl. When I refused to pay at pick up, the owner had the nerve to say, " you don't need to pay, but I keep the shawl". I have been using Speedway Cleaners for about 3 years now. The staff is always friendly and polite. The space is large, clean and well organized. I have also done a bunch of alterations with these guys, mainly hemming of various work slacks and jeans. I have nver had any issues with their adjustments. Prices are a bit on the high side, but the location is in very close proximity to my office, so it works. P.S. They often have coupons on their web page, so it's worth a quick look and print. read more

Never fails, I bring in shirts and when I pick them up, there are always some that still have stains and spots that didn't come out. This last time four of the shirts had something sprayed on them that left little shiny spots all over (maybe starch?) Soooo obvious. Poor quality control. Do they actually look at the shirt prior to bagging it? The spray and spots are so obvious. The poor guy up front looked really ashamed when I showed him and it wasn't his fault. Then he said the policy is to charge me before the redo because they had already "been run through"! Owner couldn't be reached and call backs never happen. Last redo they couldn't find my shirt for a week! It's a shame since they are so close to my home. Guess I'll have to find a new place. read more

My family and I moved to Mukilteo about 6 months ago and my parents have lived in Mukilteo for the past 20 years. My mother has been using speedway for the last 14 years with no complaints and for the last 6 months, I have no complaints as well. On a side note, I wish they provided some type of pick-up and delivery service. read more

First off let me say how amazing the employees are. Amazing service with smiles on their faces when they greet you as you walk in. Second the prices are a little high but you pay for quality. Everything that come out of this place is A++ quality. I have been all over Washington and have tried so many different cleaners that this is by far the best cleaners in all of Washington state!!!!! This place is cool, I brought some security guard uniforms that needed patches sewed on and they did a really good job! The girl at the counter was very friendly and even walked outside to tell me she likes my car! I wish I had more stuff to bring here because it was a fun experience. read more

Don't go there. Had many shirts and pants that required rework, ruined one of my shirts. Have to run for my money - so far not successful. I've used dry cleaners for more than 15 years, never had so many issues. Also did not honor prices advertised online - fraudulent. Don't waste your time with them. I went to get my pants hemmed, and received a phone call a few days later saying that the marking had been lost and that I needed to come back in to have them re-measured. I was willing to accept this error as a common mistake, but a few other problems cropped up. First of all, when dropping off my pants, I was asked whether I wanted the pants cleaned and pressed. As they were new pants, I declined, but found out they were cleaned and pressed anyway. Apparently, the service comes free of charge. That's okay, then. However, it started becoming apparent that the staff doesn't listen very well. I was told that there was a possibility that they might be delayed in getting the pants hemmed. As I am rarely in the Mukilteo area, I said that this would be a problem for me, and that I would like them really to try to get them finished on the original date. The problem, I was told, is that the pants are not actually hemmed on-site, but are taken to some other place. I have never gone to a cleaners where the work is actually outsourced. The following day, I called them up again to get a status report on my pants. The staff member had told me she'd call me up to provide a status report, but never did. She came back with the report that the pants would be ready the day after I had requested them to be altered, and delivered the news as though this were somehow a good thing. I asked what had happened and why I wasn't able to get the trousers completed on the original day I had requested them on. Again, I was reminded that they don't actually do alterations on site. As no one had called me to provide a status report on the work, I strongly suspect that they either forgot or ignored my request completely. I finally picked them up. No apologies. No discount. The pants were just handed over unceremoniously, and I paid $11, which is apparently the going rate for outsourced alterations. At this point, I just wanted to get my pants and leave to never have the misfortune of dealing with this out-of-the-way business again. The rotating staff have all the enthusiasm and passion of teenagers at their first retail job. That is, there is always the distinct impression that the folks there would rather be somewhere else. The very last straw--and the reason I'm writing this review rather than just chalking my poor customer service experience to bad luck--is that the pants weren't even properly hemmed. They're still too long. At this point, I'm out $11, and I have to take them to someone who knows what they're actually doing. A place that where the staff do the work on-site and where the business isn't simply a front for people who get paid to do little more than take people's money. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I was visiting for business and brought my brand new suit here to get dry cleaned for a wedding I was attending after my trip. When I got to the wedding I realized they had given me someone else's jacket and I had a jacket that was several sizes too big for me and could not be worn. When I got back to town I returned the jacket which was not mine to the cleaners and asked them to either find mine or replace the suit. After physically stopping into the cleaners several times and making several phone calls to try resolve this matter, I have gotten no response and gotten absolutely nowhere as far as getting my jacket back or my suit replaced and am left with no other course of action but to warn everyone else about suffering the same fate. I am severely disappointed with the way this situation has been handled and strongly caution anybody else from taking anything they value to this cleaners. read more

Disappointed. I have been to this location before and received excellent service. I recently dropped off a pair of pants for zipper repair and was told I would receive a phone call with the rate. The call never came, and I was charged more than I would at Nordstrom and more than the cost of the actual pant. When I picked up my pants, the ladies were apologetic, but did not offer to lesson the amount of the charge. Rather simply said, sorry, we'll talk to the kid that took my request. This is what bothers me, today I literally paid for someone else's mistake. Otherwise, they are friendly and courteous. I will never go back, however. I get better deals at Work and at Nordstrom, from people who listen to me. read more

Disappointing. Although I carefully went over each item when turning them in, the person behind the counter neglected to enter it in the estimate total they handed me. They also failed to contact me about the oversight. Instead, they just let be surprised by the higher bill when I picked up my things. They were unable to give me a receipt for what I actually paid. Lastly, while they extended a $5 discount off on future work, they could not issue any printed or hand-written confirmation of this future discount. I was told that it was in THEIR recordkeeping system, and that was sufficient ! read more
