I'm hoping and waiting that they will reopen eventually because I've tried other tailors in the area but nothing compares to the price and the service! Other tailors try to justify how complicated and difficult it is to alter my jeans when all I usually need is shorten the lengths. I've not had experience with a tailor outside of a department store where you might buy a suit (Nordstrom, Men's Wearhouse, etc), so this is the first time I've taken clothes to have alterations made. My experience was very good. I had several pairs of suit pants with pleats and cuffs which I wanted removed. He was able to take work his magic to make them look brand new and up-to-date. HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE AND DISRESPECTFUL! Owner does not go above and beyond to accommodate the customer. Dropped off an item and received it incomplete. Returned and asked why was the work incomplete and all the owner said " Sorry I forgot but you still need to pay for the service". I didn't learn my lesson the first time...I was told $12 to sew on 3 coat hooks. When I arrived to pick it up, they charged me double or $24. At the same time, I brought in a suit jacket and was told $38 to hem both bottom and sleeves. Again, WRONG!!! They charged me $58. He told me I was mistaken about the cost and that my yelping about it "wasn't going to make him go broke." I ended up paying so I could get my jacket back. So, beware...if you're going to use this dishonest tailor, make sure you get the quote in writing first. read more

Tried giving this place another chance. The first time left a bad impression on me, and I wanted to see if they would clean up their act. During the initial visit, I brought in two pair of pants to have hemmed. When I picked them up and tried them on, it was still a little long. The owner said that if it doesn't shrink after washing then she will adjust it without charging for a second hem, and she also recommended tapering them. I agreed, so I paid my bill and left. Fast forward 1 week. The pants were still too long, so I bring them for a second alteration. The husband measured me again (because the first time around wasn't accurate enough) to hem and taper the legs. I come to pick them up a week later and they decided to charge me for two hems and two tapering. I reminded them of what they told me the first time, and they refused saying that they wouldn't do that. Eventually they decided to charge me an arbitrary price of $20/tapering. I was not happy this time around either. If you are going to need alteration services, look elsewhere because apparently honesty is now their policy here. read more

Tailor shops are not too abundant in South Everett. Did a search on Google Maps, and Nhay Pann Tailor Shop was the closest so I thought I'd give them a try. Brought in two men's dress shirts and two ladies' trousers that needed to fitted, and a pair of motorcycle pants that with a ripped seam. Ms. Pann, the shop owner, used pins to quickly adjust my wife's trousers and my shirts to fit better. She said that she could have them ready for us in a week's time. I asked if she could repair the motorcycle soon and she agreed, saying I could pick them up on Monday, the next business day. All items were ready as indicated, and they fit much better, with clean seams. Total cost for the five items: $75. read more

I've brought many clothes to Nhay Pann over the past ten years and have nothing but praise for them. They are highly professional and they can do simple or fancy alterations. Prices are great for things like hemming and patching and when I have asked for a cost estimate, there have never been any surprise changes or charges. Worst Experience ever. I took a dress here for prom to get the beads on the front tightened. She had quoted me $30 because she would have to remove a seem and go underneath the mesh and tighten the beads. I returned a week later, and all she had done was tighten the beads from the front so there were little strings sticking out all over the place, Something that I could have done!!! And she even did it with darker colored thread than what the dress color was! She then continued to lie to me and said it took her hours to remove the seem and tighten the beads from the inside. When the seem that she would have to had gone through was the original one! Nothing is worse than a liar in the business world, So dissatisfied with this company! NEVER going back. read more

I didn't have very good luck here. I brought a pair a slacks to be taken in, when I got them back home I'm not sure anything had been done at all. I guess I should have gone back to complain, instead I'm looking for another shop to alter the same slacks. read more

I've read the reviews, and I had people recommend this place to get my bridesmaid dress tailored. Its the first time ever tailoring something.. so I thought I would give this place a try. I loved the fast turn around, I was told these things can take up to 6 weeks, and he did it in 1-2 weeks. I called before I came in, and asked twice how much, and was told $50. I went in, and the price changed to $65, no exceptions. After saying I was told $50, even showing I wrote that on the back of my card, I ended up just paying the 65... then brought the dress home, tried it on,,, and there was a big grease stain right in the middle of it. So, I'm bringing it back today and I may be updating my review to reflect how that goes. I have to say despite being highly disappointed in the dirt; they were very friendly. I took it in the dress back in and they were able to do a quick turn around in cleaning it. So thank you!!! read more
