I actually witnessed the man down below (who lied in his review) actually being very disrespectful to the worker & the owner when they politely asked them not to park in their spaces because they reserve them for their elderly customers. Brought my suit in for dry cleaning after my wedding. I put it on for the first time after 10 months for a friend's wedding and didn't realize the suit had several large chemical-like stains on it until someone pointed it out at the wedding. It was as if someone tried to scrub a stain out with bleach. It was very obvious in natural light and brought alot of unwanted attention. I get coupons for this neighborhood cleaners. I don't have much to dry clean except for a trench coat which I have taken there twice. Well the coat has a belt buckle and the tag says to cover them in foil. Ok, so a no-brainer for the cleaners. I mean this is their business, right? Well not exactly. I did not mention this to them the first time and the second time when I did they forgot to cover the buckles. Uh hello!!? Do you not do this every fracking day, all day!? If I can read a label and find out about the care instructions, isn't this something you should either do or already be aware of? When a buckle or other ornamentation on a garment isn't covered it can be damaged and over time fall apart. Just like the buckles on the coat. Thanks Sanda. If you just need something cleaned then I guess Sanda is alright but as far as communicating specific instructions and having them actually pay attention..... not sure if it's worth the effort. read more

My family and I have been using this cleaners for years and it is the only one we will go to in the Mill Creek/Everett/Bothell area. The service is friendly and reasonably priced. They do dry cleaning, washing, and alterations. We have used all three services and have been really impressed. The most important thing about this place is they get the items cleaned and everything is done in a professional matter. When we had an item we didn't think the stain would come out on, they told us if it wasn't out the first time just bring it back and they would work on it. We never had to take it back because they were able to get out an oil/butter stain from a silk Tommy Bahama camp shirt. This was great because we thought the shirt was ruined after some oil/butter was spilled on it. I'm highly impressed with this cleaners and will continue to go back. - Note: Also if you have a ton of dry cleaning hangers just take them back. Unlike some places that won't accept them they will. We have been using Sanda Cleaners for years and here are a few things worthy of mentioning... 1. When we walk in, no phone number or name required. The owners start spinning the rack until then come to our garments and there you have it. Nice touch... 2. With that said, recently, due to job/attire changes, we had stopped needing a cleaners service, for almost a year, when I spilled a very hot candle (it had been burning for 10 hours) on my brand new wool coat. I considered throwing it away. Yes, it was THAT bad! I brought it in and did get a well deserved dirty look but they said no problem. Like I said, it was total trash so I thought... what the heck? I picked it up and was AMAZED!!! No smell, no residue, CSI couldn't find a trace of this candle on my beautiful new wool coat! Sanda Cleaners is my 'go to' place for cleaning service and straight out emergencies. Well, we're still going to Sanda's. We dry-clean approximately twice per month. I really love the extra details they take with our clothes, like the way they fold the shirt sleeves in front and attach them there. It just stands out. This month I brought them a project. We had recently purchased two table runners for our dining room and dinette tables, and they were both too long and too wide. I couldn't find anything out there that would fit both our tables that I really liked. So I decided the best way was to buy them and then have them altered. I didn't want the runners to overlap under the place-mats, as they either hide the beautiful ends (on our blue one), or are too thick of a runner (like our beige runner) and make the place mat elevate. This doesn't leave room for the persons glasses, especially on the two end seats. So we needed to shorten them both. On the beige runner, made of a rope material that is then tied together with string all the way crosswise, it was impossible to lessen the width. I was hoping we could but the whole thing would have unraveled. That is okay because the place-mats on the sides of the table barely overlap so no issues there as their glasses still fit. If someone needs extra room for their glasses, they can put it on the runner. Since they shortened both ends of this beige runner, they had to cut off the finished area. I bought some extra burlap material that kind of matched the rope look, to be attached to the two ends so it would look finished. On the blue silk runner, I needed the width taken down one panel, or two half panels, whichever Sanda's thought would be best. I needed them to use the same type and color of gold thread. On the ends, since they shortened the entire runner, they had to re-attach the gold ends. Sanda's did a fantastic job and we are really happy with their custom work and detail. The runners look really professional. Everything that I asked for was done. I had them use their measuring tape when I picked them up to make sure that all the measurements turned out as I had requested. It was a unique request and they passed with flying colors. So I really wanted to give them 4.5 stars but since that isn't an option, I feel like they are closer to a 5 than a 4. I took in my girlfriend's clothes to get dry cleaned and a pair of jeans repaired. One of the items was a jacket that I needed to get next day, separate from the rest of the order. She told me she could have it for me by 1pm the next day for just $10 over the $14 to get the jacket cleaned. How was it? Fantastic. No, really, they did an amazing job. They didn't charge me when they replaced a button on the coat and all of the items were pristine and pressed. Obviously that is what one would expect from a dry cleaners but I also made the mistake of not looking up their weekend hours and when I called at 5:01pm (they close at 5), the older gentleman that works there told me he would wait for me. Fortunately I only live a few minutes away but needless to say, I greatly appreciated him staying open for me. The only very minor complaint I have is the price. They aren't expensive but there are cheaper options in the area. That said, I won't be going to any of them anymore simply because of the services offered here. read more

Sanda Cleaners sets the gold standard! If you have invested in and value your clothes, ONLY take them to Sanda Cleaners. I brought in two St. John's suits that had been ruined, and were possibly ruined beyond repair by another dry cleaner (scroll to the bottom). These size 6 suits fit me perfectly and had never been altered. They were in exceptional condition and only requiring a cleaning. Sanda Cleaners owner, Sun, had the monumental task of attempting to salvage the following... The lavender suit was a disaster. The jacket shoulders had been sized up. The jacket had been stretched 3" on each side panel for a total of 6" and the side panel fabric was so thin that you could see through it like a screen. One sleeve was 2 " longer than the other. The front of the suit was significantly longer than the back, and one side was longer than the other. The skirt waistband was loose. Just below the waistband the fabric had again been stretched so that it bulged out and my once straight skirt now bulged out from the waist and was no longer straight. My once beautiful lavender suit was now much larger than a size 6. The crème/brown pattern suit faired only slightly better. The jacket shoulders had been sized up. The jacket had been stretched out by 4" through the torso. One sleeve was noticeably longer than the other (I don't recall the exact number). The jacket was significantly longer in the front than the back and one side was longer than the other. The skirt waistband was loose. Just below the waistband the fabric had been stretched so that it bulged out and my once straight skirt now bulged out from the waist and was no longer straight. The skirt was also shorter. My once beautiful crème/brow pattern suit was no longer a size 6. Sun can verify all of the above. Although I thought the fate of my suits had been sealed, Charlotte a seasoned St. John's specialist from Nordstrom advised me that IF the suits could be fixed, ONLY Sun owner of Sanda Cleaners could do this. Charlotte has been personally recommending Sanda cleaners for years. (Caveat: Nordstrom cannot not make recommendations). Thank you Charlotte! I knew this was a long shot and had nothing to lose at this point, so I made my way to Millcreek for an evaluation. As I showed Sun each piece, and tried the suits on, I can tell you that the shock on his face left me further devastated. He said in his 31 years, that this was the worst he had seen for ruined St. Johns knitwear. Sun began by measuring me as if he were making a suit for me, measuring every inch of me and that task took a long time. Next he measured every inch each suit in its current condition. Based on my size and the NEW size of my damaged suits, he advised that he had never repaired anything so disparately different in measurements. He made no promises as he wasn't sure if this could be done. He said it would require an extraordinary amount of work due to the myriad of variables he had to navigate. At this point I had nothing to lose and I had 100% confidence that IF these suits were repairable, then Sanda could do it. While all of this was going on, I had an opportunity to observe a number of things. First and foremost the place was super clean and organized. The place was BUSY! Happy customers were coming and going and everyone seemed to be on a first name basis. It was clear to me that Sun had built his business by consistently delivering on quality workmanship, setting realistic customer expectations and then over-delivering, and providing superior customer service. In short, Sun and his team treat their customers like dear friends. Sun did it! He accomplished the near impossible! A few weeks later I called on Sanda cleaners to pick up my suits; damaged or salvaged. I was barely through the door when Sun was retrieving my suits from the revolving rack. I wasn't surprised. His generous smile greeted me and I started to exhale a sigh of relief. The suits fit me perfectly. Sun spent many hours triaging the multitude of problems. I am so grateful to Sun for his extensive skill set acquired over 31 years, his creative and technical problem solving abilities, his uncompromising requirement of perfection, and his "customer first" attitude. Heard good things so changed to this place. Did alteration and totally ruined my new $80 shirt. They didn't care at all and wouldn't even refund the alteration fee let alone replace my ruined shirt. VERY poor customer service and shows they put on a good show but when they mess up you are up the proverbial river without a paddle. Shame on them! I call that dishonest in my book. Terrible experience. They ruined my blouse and refused to own up to it. The design on the blouse faded considerably. Owner said "sorry, not my problem" and blamed it on the manufacturer. The care instructions on the garment say "dry clean only." I was following the care instructions and, logically, I expected the garment to be returned to me cleaner but otherwise in the same condition as when I brought it in. I like the fact that they pay atttention to details and they take pride in their work. My dry clean clothes always comes back perfectly ironed and hanged.
