I contacted Seattle Express Cleaners to clean my wedding dress, which had sat in my closet for about 6 months with no prior attempts at cleaning off the dirt, sweat, makeup, and other stains from my wedding day. They were extremely quick to respond to my inquiry via texting, asked great questions to get a sense of how much cleaning the dress would need (they requested some pictures of the stains up front), and gave me a quote for the cost that I felt was very reasonable. The pickup and drop-off part of this service is AMAZING, especially for someone with a busy schedule! They scheduled pick up at my house within a week despite having a high demand for wedding dress cleaning at the time, and sent me an update about what they were planning to do once they had their wedding dress expert take a look at the dress. Their turnaround time was much faster than I expected and they even sent pictures right after the cleaning was finished so I could see how well it came out! I had not requested a steaming since I didn't have plans to use the dress again anytime soon, but they did one complimentary for me which made the dress look absolutely stunning and like it was brand new. There was not a single residual stain left and the dress did not smell like anything - it was just perfectly clean. The final cost of the cleaning was exactly what I expected from the quote and I felt it was incredibly reasonable for the amount of cleaning they had to do, the speed and very high quality of service, and the helpful communication throughout the process. I was 100% satisfied with the end result and would absolutely recommend their services to anyone! read more

I used this service at the end of 2023 and it left a bad taste in my mouth. My clothes were cleaned well but I felt so bad from the customer service I put it in the back of my mind so I didn't write a review. I recently moved to Los Angeles and found a new dry cleaners down the street from me that charged me half the cost for the same items which was refreshing. I thought of this place and wanted to leave a review to warn people how bad this was. These people were hostile, defensive, and greedy. They kept on hassling me about my clothes and texting me for approval for new costs. The texting person gave me an estimate and sent me like over 10 photos of my clothes to point out all the stains and hair that was on my clothes and repeatedly told me my clothes were wrinkled and very dirty. This was unnecessary and made me feel attacked and shamed. Like WTF?? I just wanted them to clean my clothes not pick faults with me! Instead, they acted like they were taking me to court! So much unnecessary stress and hassle for dry cleaners! They ended up charging me over $50 more than originally estimated because my clothes were oh so hard to clean and so dirty. Despite going over the original estimate, they still hassled and tried to guilt me for tip at the end saying they gave me a deal. What deal? Your services are super expensive! The tone they texted me was just so very rude it's like they didn't want me as a customer. I never fought them on the expensive costs but they were hostile from the start. I ended up going back to my previous dry cleaners, City Custom Tailor & Dry Cleaners in Belltown. They are not cheap either, but a little less expensive and they are chill. I do not think cheap dry cleaning exists in Seattle but this service sucks. read more

I reached out to this service over email because of an issue and received an incredibly unhelpful and unempathetic, less than a full sentence response back. Will not ever use this service just for lack of decent customer care. Edit: It's funny that the response to my review got more of an explanation than the email (which for the record was left at "Sorry there is nothing we can do with dye transfer.") My inquiry was not rude in any way and warranted a more thoughtful reply. It is absolutely within my rights to leave a 1-star review as a reflection of my experience with a business's subpar communication. If you look at the other low reviews for this business, you'll see a pattern of poor communication skills. Service isn't just left at the product. They patched my holes, took the stains out and even took time to take the fuzz balls off. They folded everything perfectly. This is our first time using a laundry service and we're happy it was such a positive experience. They were quick to respond and the entire process was really easy. We needed our comforter cleaned and after they picked it up on Wednesday night (12/18), they delivered it right back to us on Friday night (12/20) all clean, folded, and nicely packaged in a bag. I saw the good Yelp Reviews and thought I would give this service a try. NEVER AGAIN! This is probably one of the worst laundry service experiences I have ever used. The staff at my apts called them on a Saturday and they did not pick up my clothes up until Sunday, and they did not return them until LATE Wednesday evening. So much for being "express." I kept getting the run around when inquiring about when my clothes would be back. They were rude to my apartment leasing agent as well as myself. I will NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because they did a good job on the clothes. Otherwise, horrendous service. My apartment manager said that this wasn't the first instance this has happened and that they will not be using them again or recommending them to fellow residents. You might have to walk around with a lion cloth on like Tarzan because you have no clothes while waiting on them. I have used Laundry Luxe before and they had my clothes back to me the next day. This is my first time using a dry cleaning service in my area and I couldn't be more impressed! I never even made a phone call. I texted what I would like to have cleaned, and within ten minutes I had a pickup time. The driver, who is very nice, arrived a few hours later to pick up my items. He is flexible and is willing to pick up where ever you are. (They don't have a brick and mortar store front) Second, I sent in a handful of dress shirts and pants. These are dress shirts I've sent to other cleaners many times and they comeback still soiled. Only AJ had the level of customer service and integrity to let me know they needed to be laundered too. He took care of it with no problem and showed me the before and after picture via text so I could see what I had been missing for myself. I will post these. This is a great service. I'd been looking for something like this for a long time. I was referred to them by my local West Seattle Facebook group. These guys communicate very well! They showed up right on time and carried all my crap to the car! Then brought it all back nicely cleaned and folded. You can tell they take special care on the folding and I learned some new techniques on folding via their style! They even brought me back a cool bag and some treats! They communicate great via text and were very fast, I had pickup the same day I decided to use the service. I totally misjudged how many pounds of laundry I had and was way off, (i had like 9 bags of laundry and told them I only had like 30lbs) and they were still able to accommodate me with ease. All my buttoned shirts and blouses came back on hangers, everything else was folded neatly, socks matched (YESSS!) and all smelled great. I will use this service again 100%.
