Do not have your men's dress shirts dry cleaned here because they consistently break the buttons on your sleeves and blame you. Their pressing machines are breaking the buttons and they try to blame you for the breakage by hitting your sleeves on a desk or table. What a bunch of nonsense. This has never happened to me at any other dry cleaner. read more

Julie is really nice and does an amazing job. Her shop is small and cluttered, but don't be scared by that! She is quick with alterations and cleaning, about a weeks time. We haven't been to other cleaners / alterations but this one ran us about $65 to clean a men's suit and about $10-$15 for hemming! read more

Julie is such a doll. She always remembers who you are, greets you with a huge smile, and sends you off with a few pieces of Andes chocolate :) I had a few jackets and a pillow cover that needed some mending (button came off, pockets restitch, etc.) and they did a great job! She brushed both coats and got a lot of the pilling/pulls out. It takes about a week for dry cleaning + sewing. I came in here for the first time a few months ago and keep forgetting to post this, but this place is AMAZING. A waiter spilled a deep-orange sauce on my favorite blazer which contained rabbit fat, butter, and carrot, among other things that are pretty tough to get out (I think saffron and tomato might have been involved too from how deep the pigmentation was--it was extremely orange and I thought it was ruined). The woman there (Julie, I presume) told me honestly that she wasn't sure it would come out, but she was so nice that I wasn't even upset. She gave me a chocolate on the way out and got to work. She called me back sooner than she'd estimated, and lo and behold, she'd gotten the stain out and saved my blazer! It cost way less than I'd expected and once again, she had a chocolate for me (I think everyone gets one whenever they come in). I don't need dry cleaning very often, but I'll definitely be back and the experience was so pleasant that I'll probably end up with every suit being pristine all the time because I'll be in whenever I have the slightest excuse to do so! read more

I was nervous about finding a dry cleaner because I have never needed one but the garments I needed clean were my brand new suit for my Wedding. Julie had great reviews, but her bad reviews were scathing which made me nervous. I'm happy to say that Julie was every nice thing that was spoken about her. She was incredibly friendly. I was robbed today, and Julie did it with a smile. It didn't make it any less painful. Seven men's shirts , laundered and pressed fir the AMAZING price of $92.00. No this is not a misprint. Julie claims that's regular shirt, neck size no larger than 16, would cost Jess. She has to charge 11:95 surcharge for any shirt size over 16 neck for men. But wait, again with a smile on her face Julie advised me that womenswear sized 16 and over also pays this surcharge. I was a first time customer making a drop off. I looked for pricing but I didn't see any and Julie won't tell. Must believe in the don't ask don't tell policy. I paid and advised her I'd never be back. She smiled and simply said sorry. So I'm a recent Seattle settler for work and was aware that things are more costly in Seattle. But getting an arbitrary surcharge because of my neck size. Ridiculous. Women, stay away from size 16. Put down that doughnut, skip deserts at dinner and last but not least, stay away from Julie's cleaners. I may refer this to the EEOC for those of us with thick necks and a little meat on our bones. . Julie definitely perceives us as disabled and worth surcharges. I should have let her keep my shirts. But for now, it's a couple of spray cans of starch for me and a brush up on ironing skills. Our household typically doesn't do dry cleaning that frequently, given the fact that we barely had to wear anything remotely formal in our daily routines. So when it comes to finding a good cleaner that is reliable and has service mind, we sort of have no clue where to go, because the places we went..either we didn't like the service, didn't have good review..or were just too far away. We finally came across Julie's Cleaners after searching on Yelp, and we are thankful we finally found a dry-cleaner that we are super super happy with. The lady who looks after the shop was super friendly and nice. Upon dropping off my items, she immediately lets me know when I can pick up, etc. She also remembers her customers quite well (e.g. I walked in there without bringing my drop off receipt and she remember what I brought and when brought it in!). She also offered to give me chocolates while I was there, too! Super nice! :) Next time around, whenever we have drycleaning or alteration needs, this is the place to go! P.S. The place doesn't have parking of its own. However, given that it's locate in North of Cap Hill along north of 10th Ave, parking is pretty easy to find.
