They explained their approach, the average cost, the possibility that they might not be able to get the stain out, the price and that they could get it done within 3 days. Their location is a bit of a drive, but we were hopeful by their response and the overwhelming positive reviews. Well, we got a text the next day that our comforter was ready for pick-up. We felt discouraged, thinking that they were unsuccessful. But far from it... they even took the comforter out of the bag, inspected it carefully and gave us the thumb up. The stain was gone!! They even carried it out to the car. I dropped off a dress of my daughter's that had ripped at some tulle on a Wednesday afternoon. Classic was hopping (lots of employees and customers!), but I was served quickly. Amazing and professional! I was on a travel for the thanksgiving and when I came back home I found my cat had peed on my bed. There were multiple stain on my duck down comforters and really smelly. I moved here 17 years ago and after going to several cleaners that ruined my clothes, I decided to go to Classic Day Cleaners. The prices are higher than surrounding cleaners but the quality of service can't be beat! You are always greeted with a smile. They will call /text if they notice a loose button or fabric issue before they proceed with cleaning the item to get your approval. They even carry your clothes to the car for you. One time I took it to them a wool and silk skirt sealed in a garbage bag. I explained that my friends child had a diaper mishap. I see a lot of complaint reviews below regarding the price and I really suggest that you ask the cost up from when you drop off your items! I dropped off a suit jacket and a vest that matched and she quoted me $14.75 for the jacket and $9.21 for the vest. When I walked in, I was greeted by such a friendly woman and she smiled the entire time through our transaction. They were very busy, but they were also very kind and accommodating. I dropped off on a Tuesday and was quoted a completion date of Friday, which is fine, because I was in no hurry. My items ended up being done the next day and at pick up I ended up paying $28 and some change. Little bit more than what was quoted. They did, however, take my dry cleaning directly to my car and hang it up for me. This meant I didn't have a chance to check my items before I got home but luckily everything looks great and the food on the vest that I had shown them was cleaned off. I've seen some complaints about spots not being removed and clothing but I would recommend that you always show the employees any problem areas when you leave your clothing with them. They handle a high amount of stuff and pointing out a stain really helps the staff do their jobs better. And check your items at pickup before you leave the store. That way, you can address any issues without coming back. read more

Business is a SCAM and fraud. Visited Seattle area last week from out of town and went on Friday April 14 at 930 am. Drove 25 minutes out of my way from downtown Seattle to bring business clothes needed for Monday meetings in another city. They said they were done receiving clothing for same day service. Without any good explanation at all. And of course Saturday return was out of the question. They prominently advertise the in by 10 out by 4 service on their website. I have had many clothes and suits dry cleaned and altered at Classic Dry Cleaners. Every single time I have had my items completed before their anticipated date. Their customer service is always top notch when I come there, and have always been greeted by a smiling face. I mainly want to place this review to defend this business from the various one star reviews stating a pricey service. I have used many alterations and dry cleaners in the area over my years living in the south Seattle area; the service provided here has been the best hands down. Many of these other alteration locations are much more pricy than CDC and lack a lot of what CDC offers. To add insult to injury with these people, I have just uncovered a Fall/Winter jacket that I had dry cleaned there, that has been wrapped up all summer as pictured, and I see a hole. I wish they had at LEAST made me aware of the hole, and/or tried to sew it back shut. My jacket has barely ever been worn, and it did not originally have a hole in it. It's the INTEGRITY that keeps a business going. I am not the only one who has had issues with them as you can read in the other reviews. Nor would I have a personal reason to fabricate anything with these people after giving them my business and HUNDREDS of my hard earned money. I fell in mud in January 2022 and thought I ruined my brand new coat and jeans. I couldn't part ways with them just yet and rather put them in a paper bag and in the back of my Subaru to "take them to dry cleaner." Long story short, they sat in the back of my Subaru until December of 2023 when I finally got around to bringing them in to Classic Cleaners. Not only are they inviting but you get good quality dry clean for an affordable price (in my opinion).
