It's been a while so I think it's worth updating my review of our local post office. It's honestly a great post office. The workers here are super friendly and helpful and they even helped me pick out the best price on mailing out my package. She said it was too expensive before I even did and found me the best way to mail it without breaking the bank! They are always smiling and willing to answer questions. :) Today I found out there's parking in the front AND the back - like behind the strip mall. I only found out about those hidden spots because I walked 2 miles here to mail out my package. Oh yea, one thing to note is the mailbox outside does not take packages - only letters. They nailed it shut so there's only a little slot for letters. Beware. read more

Worst customer service I've experienced! My package was lost so the company ask me to call the post office to see if the package was there, I called MLT post office thinking since I live in MLT it would be them, well a man answered, I started to explain my situation and he kept cutting me off and sighing loudly and sounded very annoyed, I apparently am suppose to know that if you live in MLT Lynnwood post office is the one to call, he very rudely informed me, Lynnwood was beyond nice! I'll drive farther out just to avoid this place when I need a post office just because of that experience. read more

The best post office in the area. Its small and doesnt have an automated machine to ship your own packaged, but the ladies that work there are MUCH nicer than the lynnwood postal employees. I live in lynnwood and drive out of my way to go to the MLT branch for the good service that they try to provide. This branch would get 5/5 if they had a postal machine in their lobby. read more

So I have a certified letter, they just leave a note in my mailbox no attempt to ring door bell, ask apt office or anything, then says pick up at local office on 11th, drive there nope they say it's not there, it's in Lynnwood drive there they say it's not there, back to mlt po not there still, driver won't answer... Boy this is an epic fail again... If it's there on 11th for pick up why is it on another truck for delivery again then please explain this... Terrible terrible service no one has a clue what's up..... And now today it just disappeared... Terrible terrible carriers how do you lose important mail terrible service they have no clue where my letter is since "trying to deliver"... What a worthless excuse for a Post Office. I can't even locate a phone number for this place. I swear they must be open from 9 am - 3 pm M-F and closed for lunch. I've gone here, against my better judgment, about 6 times. I think it was closed 4 out of those times. The one time I got in the ladies inside were all rude and pushy. Gave the attitude of, if you don't like it go somewhere else. I just went there this morning to get a package mailed at 9:30 am on Saturday. They were open for Post Office Box pickup only from 9 am - 11 am. What a crock I !!! The two times that I've made it in the door it I was rewarded with a 15 minute line. I've had friends tell me horror stories of this place too. Mailing packages to Pullman, WA only to track the package 4 or 5 days later and finding the package "in route" but in Missouri. Not sure what the deal is with this place. It is in the worst spot and parking is strange. The whole building probably just needs to be torn down. There is a community church or something next door in the strip mall with a couple of broken windows. I probably wouldn't even give it 1 star but it is close to DD Meats. read more

This is the worst post office I have ever had to deal with in my 63 years. They don't deliver every day like they are supposed to. Don't deliver advertising to everyone in the neighborhood. Very poor service! read more

The mail carriers for the city of Mountlake Terrace work out of the Lynnwood Post Office at 6817 208th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036. If you have a signature item or any item they were unable to deliver, the next morning it will be transported to the Mountlake Terrace Post Office where you may retrieve it. Old, outdated building and staff. Always in a bad mood, always difficult to work with. No sense of urgency or customer service whatsoever. This location works in conjunction with the Lynwood office, they should just right out dissolve MLT branch and use Lynwood's only. Or overhaul the office and retrain or replace the staff with a more deserving one. read more

I was on vacation in San Diego, CA from 11/11/15/ to 11/14/15 yet somehow I managed to sign for a USPS package that required an adult signature in Bellingham on 11/12/15. It was laying on my porch, in the rain when I got home on the 14th. read more

This is a great little post office. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Never once had a problem with them. I send out a lot of packages and every transaction has been a smooth one. read more

The open time is wrong here, they are actually open at 9am on weekdays, not 8:30. The woman at the desk this morning was nice and helpful. I messed up the address on one package I was shipping but thankfully their computers fixed it, which I had discovered after frantically calling an hour and a half later. Yes, the parking is a bit strange but at least there is parking (which is becoming more and more rare these days) and it is easy to pull in and back out of. No lines when I was there, but it is a post office so even if there were lines it wouldn't be cause to dock any stars. read more

The employees have something good to look forward to if you believe in karma. I've always been served with patience and friendliness. Believe me I've tested the patience with obscure inquiries, ineptly wrapped packages, and a generally flustered demeanor. I'm usually a little irritated after waiting in line behind persons from other parts who have an inordinately large number of packages to ship... I usually have no problem with Canadians shopping here and welcome it. It is helpful for business owners, jobs and the economy. At the overworked and worn postal service I become a little bothered that our subsidized service is enjoyed by our neighbors while I cool my heels in line. There's something a little bit unfair when we spend 18 billion dollars a year keeping UPS afloat and to help pay for Canadians to send their mail around the world as well as ourselves. That being said, this post office is particularly impacted by the volume of parcels that go out from our neighbors northward. I'm usually lucky enough to get my favorite postal clerk. He pulls out sheets of Janis Joplin for me to frame and shares info about other stamps that he thinks would get my stamp of approval. By the by, a forever stamp is the only purchase I make that is inflation proof... as long as the Postal Service is still around and people will still use mail. read more

Very friendly staff, nice location. Not sure why one person says they can't find the phone number, search for Mountlake Terrace Post office! Number and address comes up. I have never had anything but GREAT customer service. They are all hard working and helpful. My favorite post office for sure. read more

My favorite post office by far! I have used Lynnwood, North City and North Seattle and by far this post office has the smallest lines and the best staff! Convenient Monday thru Friday hours and package pick-up available on Saturday mornings. Rhonda and Joslyn (hope I am spelling the names right) are always helpful and answer any questions I might have. I love the fact that the employees have worked at this branch a long time and call most people by name! Just like small town! Will not go back to other branches as this is by far the best post office in south Snohomish County! read more

I phoned this post office to notify them that some of my mail/ packages weren't received or arrives days or even weeks late. I don't even get "junk mail" any more. This was around the holiday and the sales and coupons are helpful. They told me someone must of phoned to have it changed. Also, someone could of put a change of address in. I didn't. I verfied my correct information again. Now, I just received a priority mail with tracking. It showed that it came on the 28th of December. I received it on January 15. The sender told me they even paid extra to send it overnight. Since that phone call to the post office all my mail comes late or not at all. I am shocked to find out anyone can put in a change of address and stop your mail!! Felony? read more
