I wish I had known about The Mailbox years ago. I won't have to worry about my miscellaneous office needs anymore. Yay! They do everything, are super nice, and are very knowledgable. They have state of the art copiers/printers (I couldn't tell which was the original signature). And their prices are very competitive. They have 24hr box access (which I wish I knew when I got a usps po box last summer). And I had no idea they also provide shredding services, too. I came today to do a legal-sized print out and get a document notarized. I had no idea about their other services. I'm super excited to have met Dan and learn about all the services they provide. They're always friendly and helpful, and do a good job of being efficiently quick without making you feel as though you're taking up their valuable time by asking questions. I also had a spectacular experience recently, where AT&T were threatening to charge me $450 for not returning a phone, using their pre-paid USPS label. (I know, I should have taken it to the Post Office and asked them for a tracking code and receipt - but it was Holiday Hell week, so I risked it.) The guys at the Mailbox moved heaven and earth to try to track it through detective work, even offering to pull 10-day-old security videos to help prove I'd brought it in, if need be. (Today, another 10 days later, AT&T told me they'd received it, so all's well.) Oh, and their opening hours are far more convenient, too - no small thing. read more

We've used the Mailbox for a few years now after consistent bad experiences at the post office across the street. Dan is incredible at this location and is beyond friendly and today proved how generous he is. We went in for a notary and he went above and beyond in making us feel welcomed, and get our notary service done in the utmost polite and kind way. He absolutely made our day today. Who looks forward to sending a package?? I never did, until I started shipping through The Mailbox in Magnolia! I recently decided to use Ebay to sell some of my things that I don't use very often. I found myself needing to ship objects of varying sizes to all different locations across the country. Each time I'd go to the Mailbox, the owner, or any of the other employees would do a great job at helping me find the most economical options for boxes and shipping speeds. They would even box it up for me! I was so used to shipping through the Post Office, where I'd always needed to bring my tape, scissors and bubble wrap. The Mailbox treated me with absolute generosity, patience and friendliness. In addition to my Ebay project, I send out client gifts and presents to my family on a regular basis. I had rushed in one day right before closing (actually I did this a couple times... sorry guys!), and the owner made sure to find a way to get my Mother's Day gift to arrive before Mother's Day. What a kind soul! During Christmas Time, I needed to ship off several returns. I had always just gone to the Post Office across the street. The line was so long that the post office people were recommending we go across the street to the Mailbox. That's how I found out it was there. There was no line, and the employees all seemed happy to be there. Next holiday season, I will definitely ship from The Mailbox. I have a remote business, so I use The Mailbox for my mailing address. There rates are competitive, and I always get my mail delivered correctly. I'm very happy I chose The Mailbox to be my mailing address. I highly recommend using The Mailbox in Magnolia for all your shipping needs! They even have cute last minute gifts, and a photocopier for printing. I usually send my Christmas boxes to the east coast from here. The boxes are often big and bulky and being an old lady--the thought of trying to get them to a post office and stand in a long is out of the question. They have always been helpful and provided good info about costs and speed for various services. The guy who helped me last year was very nice and even helped with taping up my boxes more securely (no charge.) My only complaint is that parking around their store is virtually impossible. So having learned my lesson, I get my packages prepared in November, put them in my car and drive via the mailbox whenever I am in south Magnolia looking for a parking spot, if I can't find one, I just try to drive by the next week looking for parking,. I know I'll eventually find a spot but know I have to prepare early. read more

During the busy holiday season, I was planning to shipped several packages out of state and headed for the US Postal Office but saw the long line. Across the street, I saw the "Mailbox" and went over. I was so happy as there was only one person in line. The owner, Dan, is super customer service oriented and he was able to show me the difference in shipping UPS vs USPS. I was surprised to learn that one state was really the same in cost but the other package to the East Coast was significantly less. These guys are great, they stand by their packing and are happy to take care of any situation that involves the receipt of damaged goods. Just call them, they are happy to help! I have been going here for years and do my best to avoid FedEx or UPS stores as I have found them to be not as careful or personal. The USPS employee sent me over to The Mailbox, where I was happily greeted and immediately helped with all 3 things. Needed to get a small chandelier we bought at Acorn Floral to my mother-in-law in Spokane, by Christmas. For one reason or another we didn't get around to mailing it until the 22nd. (It was too big to take in our carry-on and we weren't so sure about checking it through.) Came to the Mailbox Saturday morning. I was expecting to have to do a fair amount of the work myself, but I really only needed to unscrew what could be unscrewed, for better packability, give him the address, Express Mail postage and about $10 extra, and he took care of everything: box, packing, packaging. Arrived on time, safe and sound. Really--when you just don't have the time yourself, $10 for box, packing, and packaging is a steal. Will definitely use them again. read more

Didn't get to the post office before they closed with a flat-rate Priority box so went to these guys. Charged about $2.50 more for the box than USPS (their extra take I suppose). When guy behind counter entered the zip code on the label it came up a different city. So I read it back to him as written and he says "yeah that's what I put in". I wrongly assume he knows what he is doing, and the city coming up was how post office states it, & just say send it. Turns out he entered the zip wrong, then didn't catch his own mistake once given the opportunity. My nephew's birthday present got to him 2 days late instead of 2 days early. THESE GUYS SUCK!!! read more

This place would be a lot more useful if they had longer hours. They're only 1/2 block from the US Post Office, and yet they are open basically the same hours. Some of us have to work for a living, and can't get there by 5:30 pm. It would be nice if they were open until 7 pm. I have to take my packages to Fremont UPS store to mail them, even though I live 4 blocks from this place. And they should stay open until at least 5 pm on Saturdays. Several times I have brought packages to be shipped before 3 pm on Saturday, and they were already closed. read more

They packed some Xmas gifts for us, and managed to do such a poor job that most were damaged in transit. Go to a real UPS Store, where they always know what they are doing, but DON'T use these guys for your packing needs if you care about what you are sending. read more

Horrible. DO NOT DROP FEDEX HERE!!! They don't have a regular pickup...I dropped off a package for Next Day Service and found out that they didn't get it sent out. They blamed it on the Fedex driver saying they didn't pick up that day...I called Fedex and they confirmed that they are not an authorized Fedex drop off location and that they CALL IN their shipments.
