Atlas Networks has been such an amazing wifi service provider when we lived in our apartment complex. They provide 5G and regular wifi all in one box for just the cost of $39.99 per month. High speed wifi that it was able to hold up to our gaming/streaming needs. When there were any issues with our wifi, I would easily access a call to the Atlas team to inform them. They would either send their team immediately to the site if your building id causing the issue or send a member if it just happens to be your own wifi box acting up. The Atlas team would tend to the problem immediately. If its a problem within the building network, rather than calling constantly for an update, you could just go on their website and in there, there is a part of the site where you can track the status of the problem. They will inform you whether their team is done, still trying to fix the issue, or on their way to the site. I wish they serviced other locations, but they remain only for businesses and for residentials around the Seattle/Burien area. If they expand further to our area, I will definitely change my wifi in a heartbeat. read more

Update on the Atlas situation. It's way way worse. As I'm sitting here on a rainy day in Seattle (pretty common) our packet loss is over 15%, our download speed is ~85mbps, and our upload is 100mpbs. We pay them for gigabit down/up so this is less than one tenth of the advertised speed. Their customer service has literally started ignoring our account because of frequent complaints. Three of the units in the building are already back on Xfinity, which apparently doesn't have massive packet loss during bad weather. We'll be trying to get Atlas off of our HOA so we don't have to keep supporting such a terrible, terrible company. read more

Every time I called them, whether it was a billing issue or switching service to a different unit, the representatives were always immensely helpful and fun to talk to. Service calls were taken care of in 2 hours or less, and when they mistakenly billed me for an extra month they resolved the error and refunded my account before I even called in! 2) The Price. $40/mo for 100 Mbps and $60/mo for Gigabit is simply unbeatable 3) The Speed. I had 100 Mbps service and was regularly clocking around 50-60 Mbps on Wifi 4) The Reliability. Not one instance of downtime that I can recall in 2 years of service. DON'T let the "positive" reviews fool you. This company is UNRELIABLE. I called on Thursday, Oct. 13th and spoke with Andrea to get service for my apartment in Seattle. The conversation was going great. She told me that I would be able to get free internet service since my apartment hadn't received their services before. I'd only have to rent the modem for $6.00/month (I'm assuming plus tax as well). Month to month with no contracts or starting fees. I was thrilled! She then told me she'd contact my apartments manager on tomorrow (Friday) and provide them with information. I informed her it was an older building (there's Comcast, Century Link, and other networks here) so I figured it wasn't impossible. But the most inconvenient part is that it would take 2-3 MONTHS for it to be installed in my apartment. She also told me that she'd call me back. Woohoo, right?! WRONG. I called on Tuesday (Oct. 18) because I hadn't heard from her. Ashley picked up and come to find out they had NO RECORD of our 45 minute conversation. She couldn't find my name or anything (yes I spelled it for her. yes she heard me correctly). We checked my email and phone number. NOTHING. I told her "I'm frustrated you guys don't have my information on file after my long conversation with Andrea." She then proceeded to scramble and say "oh it looks like Andrea is in a meeting. Can I have her call you back?" I reluctantly agreed because as someone who's worked in customer service this is how you get frustrated customers off the phone. Did I get a call back? NOPE!!! I called them 3 times and they hung up on me after going through their "new phone tree". I left a message explaining the conversation with Andrea and what Ashley had told me. And I added how "pissed" I was because it shouldn't be this difficult to get in touch with a customer trying to buy your services. They STILL HAVEN'T called me back. If they have this much poor customer service to get started then how can I trust them to provide great internet service?!?! read more

The worst installation experience, from the nicest people. I've suffered through two installations with Atlas and gotten to know some of the staff. In the first installation we switched to them for Internet and analog phone lines from Comcast. The installation was a pretty rough experience and we had to call them back a couple times, it was frustrating but they got there in the end, and for a couple years had a reliable and fast service. Then I decided to move to VOIP phones. The installation- the worst installation experience ever, by far. Everything was done incorrectly even to plugging in the power supplies to the phones, we had to do everything over, move the phones to the correct desks, recable them, etc. The phones- I was recommended a particular phone. It is a complicated phone (40 buttons) without a manual. I was told by the person who sold us the phones that it was the tech person's job to 'train' us on the phones, But Wes, who is an awesome tech, had never before seen this model phone and didn't have a clue. He took one of the phones back to their office and figured out some features but it's the blind leading the blind at this point. We have no idea how to operate it. Tech issues- Wes is great, and generally gets back to you very quickly, but he was the only tech at Atlas for this sort of thing and buried in work. Billing- I has a billing question and was talking to the correct person very quickly. I don't think I waited 15 seconds to get a answer. The is typical of the response times I've experienced, hold times are usually seconds, not minutes. I wish I had gone to a 3rd party for VOIP and set them up ourselves, I was trying to avoid the time and trouble, but got double. And phones that don't work and the promised features never happened. read more

Service is mediocre, both for internet and customers. Some argumentative staff, no apologies for huge mistakes. They demanded money or the return of a specific modem the customer never had in the many months we used them. Humility with growing pains is commendable. Self righteous attitudes are deplorable. Internet was never near speed even directly connected. They pulled the, "we can come out but we may charge you," routine. Recommending a company that may treat new customers badly wouldn't be wise. They want referrals and an introduction set up with the building manager. They won't call the complex themselves if you tell them you'd like service at your new place, even when you say they can use your name. Hence, don't ask people to set up referral introduction without customer service that won't embarrass them. read more

Reliability is top-notch with practically zero issues and minimal downtimes. Speeds are blazing fast and I regularly stream online content with zero issues related to buffering or throttling. The cherry on top are the insanely cheap prices - you can't beat this value. Atlas is so far ahead of the competition that it's not even fair..... they're ahead of their time. Because of the phenomenal product, I don't ever think about my internet or provider anymore...... and that's exactly how it should be. Unlike other companies, Atlas makes it where you can rely on their product and you really end up taking for granted the quality of the product. I've had Atlas as my ISP for 2 years now. Pros to their service include nice affordable prices for high bandwidth residential connections in the buildings that they operate in around Seattle. Unfortunately, while many companies strive to provide 99.9% uptime, Atlas seem content with somewhere around 90%. When the service is working, it's phenomenal. Often times though outages to my service will coincide with their site being down as well which means you can't submit a support ticket and without an after hours customer support number there isn't much you can do but sit around and wait. It would be quite helpful if they actually made use of their Twitter account to quickly notify customers of current issues and to set expectations for when their service will resume. read more

Had one issue during Covid, they reached out and called within hours. Even the installation was a breeze, technician was really kind and respectful (we still remember it 18 months later). I was shocked when a non-robotic human called to set up our installation and didn't pester me for add ons, or grill me about how, if we were to terminate a contract early, they would take one of our children and a finger of their choice. Our new apartment community, Station House, offered internet options of both Atlas Networks and Comcast/Xfinity. I had comcast already from my last place, so initially just transferred that service. When I learned that Atlas was an option I changed over to them and very glad we did! Not only do you get better upload/download (guaranteed, not "max"), but at a better price and we never had issues with unexpected outages like we did with xfinity. As if that weren't enough, the team at Atlas Networks are AMAZING. They are quick to respond, kind, friendly and I can tell the team enjoys what they do! I've had Atlas for almost two years and the service was always great. Any outages were always taken care of quickly but even so there were very few of them. The rates are the best offered, I've never had throttling issues with them likes other companies tend to do (I'm talking about you evil Comcast). Atlas networks built a circuit for our company with tremendous speed and efficiency. Cheers to Dan for being our point of contact and Robert for running the fiber. Atlas beat out a major ISP called Level 3 for us in time and cost by leaps and bounds. To explain, we signed a contract with L3 about two months before a deadline for our new office. L3 had numerous people managing the project and yet repeatedly made mistakes and missed major details and deadlines. L3 didn't provide us with a timeline nor updates. With two weeks remaining in our deadline, L3 continued to provide excuses and an exacerbating lack of communication. When the two week marker hit, we enlisted Atlas to see what could be done. With a team of two Robert and Dan built us a highspeed and reliable circuit in under 13 days. Nothing more need be said. We were blown away and impressed the whole way. Dan and Robert saved our office build-out tremendous downtime and operational costs. We will be terminating our L3 contract first thing and directing our business to Atlas Networks. read more

I had Atlas at my apartment for about one year. It was the best year of internet I have ever had. for $25 per month I was able to rent my modem/router and get internet that was fast and worked 99.99% of the time. There were only two times all year that the service down--it was only down for about 1-2 hours and I got an email explaining the problem and what they were doing to fix it. I received personal emails from the customer service team, and I could actually speak to a person without going through annoying automated systems and waiting for 30 minutes. Such a great experience and I wish they could provide internet at my new home. I can't wait for them to grow and hopefully allow me to ditch Comcast once and for all! read more

We started in 8/14 with a 50Mbps connection and are now on 300Mbps. Since I have been a customer we have only two unscheduled downtimes in the last two years and they both were out of Atlas' control. The are very proactive and always send you information on upcoming outages or after-the-fact reports on what happened. We are moving buildings soon and just extended our contract with them for a third time. I am very happy with their service. Also I get less than 2ms pings to google:) read more

We have over 2,000 persons a week logging onto the network and most of them are devs, so reliability is paramount. They even reached out to me after noticing that my Airport Express had a significant security vulnerability - they went out of their way to find and put together a detailed & easy to understand description of how to fix it.
