I switched over from Sprint and he had me done and out in less than an hour. He also answered all of my questions. I can only imagine how insane this place gets midday, however, because there's little to no parking out front and it does get very busy. This is the largest Verizon store in my area. I've been coming here since 2006 and have never had a complaint, except for maybe one little one. It does tend to get a bit overcrowded at times. Luckily, they have a large staff that work hard to accommodate customers as swiftly as possible. read more

I've been coming here for years, but now it definitely has gone down. It's like it is being run by a bunch of sketchy gym guy sales people. I came in to buy a new phone at the end of October. Great. Got the phone. However, came the bill...I was charged an activation and monthly fee for a tablet access line that I never agreed too nor did we even discuss getting a tablet. I called customer service and was told that it looks like they had opened the line and meant to close it but never fully did. Therefore, I had to go into the store to discuss the issue with them. I went into the store and was helped with some guy named Joe. I told him the issue that one of his colleagues made. Unapologetically, I was quickly sent to their store phone to be put on hold for 21 minutes. He only checked up on me once "oh wow, you're still on hold?" while he walked away with another customer. The other Verizon workers did not even ask why I was standing there for so long using their phone, except one guy. But by the time he tried to help- the customer service guy on the phone answered(aka the only helpful and nice Verizon person of the day). 21 minutes came along and I had to steal the chair from behind their little computer/kiosk thing to sit because I was standing for so long waiting. It took almost 40 minutes to get my issue resolved and it was done on the phone by someone not in the store. I understand you may not be able disconnect lines in the store, but the fact that my issue was quickly brushed off, not apologized for, not checked up on to see if anyone had answered the phone again (somehow people tend to disappear in the store), and not even asked if it was resolved eventually...is pretty much ridiculous and poor customer service. I didn't think this store could get any worse. The amount of time I was there... I could have watched two episodes of Friends during time that too ( or who knows maybe a whole season if the Verizon guy never answered the phone) Just avoid this one and go somewhere else so you don't waste your time like I did. read more

Literally the rudest people work here. Walked in to no greeting at all and the store was not busy. Asked where I could check in and the woman said she couldn't help me but asked a man doing nothing to help me. He walked over to me slowly. Told him my situation and phone interests and he couldn't have been less interested in answering my questions or selling a phone. I asked him what was different with the newer phones and he condescendingly said, "each year Apple makes a newer phone. It's newer." Yeah, I get that, dude. What is different? What makes it better? You're in sales, right? I'm in there asking to be sold a phone. Don't really need to beg people to take my money, so I left. I work in a service-based industry as well and it's always boggling to me when people are rude and inconsiderate to customers for no reason. Had to go into this location last week to exchange my Samsung 7 note because you know they were sorta burning up. Anyway, I was anticipating the long wait as this was the first day the new replacement phones were being issued. I waiting only 45 minutes. I was helped by Nasir Osman and Michael Abed. They coordinated a smooth transaction and once I was serviced, I was out the door within 10 minutes. In this age where customer service is an afterthought, I appreciate the great service I received. The wait was super long compared to Burbank and Glendale but worth the wait. They had my phone in stock and the guy who helped me was an ex military guy and extremely helpful and nice. We went there yesterday to purchase my son a iPhone 5c. I called ahead of time and spoke with Austin. He had the phone in store and told me he would out it aside for me. We got to the store 20 minutes later and Austin not only had the phone set aside but pulled some cases for us to see. He showed us different plans to add the new phone to our account in order to get the best price. He also looked at our existing account and restructured it so we I could get more data and save money. I sorely needed to update my aging iPhone, and as a long time Verizon customer (going back to the Air Touch cellular days...) I have always appreciated their service. I made an appointment in advance and had a short in store wait (with bottled water and candy) before being introduced to Brianna. She was a joy to work with - knowledgeable and upbeat, and all of my apps transferred perfectly to my new phone. It took about a half an hour to update, but the neighborhood has plenty to do. Ordered a new phone for pick-up here. For starters, though they asked for my ID, they never checked it, so literally anyone could've come to take this phone. I started setting up my phone in store with no one's help. Once it got to the point to download my iCloud backup, the phone shut down in the middle of it and when I turned it back on I couldn't figure out how to start the back-up again. I asked for help, and they told me it was an issue with the wifi and that I needed to restore my backup at home. I seriously doubt this is true as I've been in Verizon stores before where people have helped me download an iCloud backup. Even if this is the case, though, why wouldn't you tell me that before waiting 20 minutes into a back-up? Besides that, I also needed to buy more iCloud storage and, as with the backup, my new phone wouldn't let me do this. Again I asked for help, but rather than getting any, I was told to try again at home. Is this their solution for everything??? Do it at home without the help of a Verizon employee? I thought the whole point of stores like these was to have people who know how phones work help you with set-up and trouble-shooting. Overall, the whole experience was very upsetting. We're in the middle of a pandemic, many people are out of work, I myself have had my work cut back so it really pisses me off to see someone WITH a job not do it; completely thankless. Weren't allowed to handle the phones as we were told by David Chacon the manager of the store that it was Verizon corporate policy. I replied would you buy a new car or buy a suit without trying them first.he suggested that we go to the Apple store and try them out down there. I could not get it to turn back on. Jennifer addressed me as soon as I walked in the store. She was able to get my phone to turn back on and showed me how to fix it. My experience at this location was horrendous. I was looking for a hot spot, and didn't know anything at all about usage/plans (basic browsing vs. viewing movies/videos). Naturally, I went to Verizon location for help. After all, they claim to be experts in the field. One of the kids (salesman) there sold me a hot spot and I signed up for a 2 yr. contract. Then the nightmare began. I went way over my usage and ended up with nearly $1000 overages. Looking back, I now understand that the kid that sold me the hot spot didn't know what he was talking about. I called the location many times to sort it out, and never once received a call back from the manager. Not once. This location is only interested in making sales. If you need help or accurate information, call the 800 number. They are better trained and better informed AND you could avoid CRIMINAL overages. What would I do next time? Order over the phone! Went in to do in-store pickup for an online order, and decided to add my husband to the account at the last minute. John was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, and very resourceful about solving the many problems that came up (our fault, not his!) I was also impressed by his attention to the other customers. When some other people lost their place in line he spoke up on their behalf and made sure they were taken care of. I have been a Verizon customer since 1998 - can you say Air Touch? I get excellent service from calling 611....each and every time... That is NOT my experience at the Pasadena store... ALWAYS a wait...and, as much pressure to buy as the old used car lots... My wife walked in, looking to upgrade a single phone, walked out with 2 new phones. a jetpack (hotspot), a new Bose Bluetooth player and a hefty $380 bill. Granted she did buy everything and signed the paperwork... But, wasn't told the hotspot was a whole new line, with activation and a $20 per month change, regardless of us needing or using it...who needs that, when it goes against your data plan and you can use another phone as a mobile hotspot - that is when you cant find a Starbucks within 30 seconds of your location...we are in Pasadena, after all. She was told our bill would be the same...well, $90 later - activation, 1.5 months of line charges...a 2 year contract... and, now, we're stuck with this stupid, useless device...and again a 2 year contract... With all the competition out there, I would think Verizon would bend over backwards to be helpful... While she did ultimately buy it, she trusted the sales guy and, frankly, after 2 hours (much like the interrogations in LAW and Order SVU), she was worn down One star.. cause we cant go any lower... BTW - the Bose is nice... but, it was for 'free' - no additional payments, no contracts and no data plan required read more

I have been a loyal customer of Verizon since I can remember and today at this store I received the most unprofessional service. The management did not take accountability for the major mistake of their employee that hurt my credit because they didn't do their job. For this reason the only option they left me with is one to hurt my credit. I am now looking for a new service provider due to this horrifying experience as a customer. They get a 0 for not caring for their loyal and responsible customer. 0 for customer service. Perhaps if they had professional skills and empathy for this case I would have chosen to stay with Verizon, however their attitude and disinterest was disheartening.
