My son arrived at this Verizon location before me. He was sitting down waiting for someone to assist him. Upon arriving, I wasn't sure why he wasn't being helped. Soon, Jeff (the manager) said that he would be helping and for us to wait a minute. Upon finishing with a customer he turned to us then turned to an associate and asked HIM to help us. My son has a speech impediment. Which is to say, you have to be patient, understanding and kind. Something this manager is NOT! My son wasn't daunted, he bought a new phone from a helpful associate. 5 stars. Would have been 4 because my entire experience was decently pleasant and I walked out with a smile on my face. But it's 5, because of Marty. Honestly, from a management perspective, he is the kind of employee every company wants to have and every employee should want to be. He is extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent costumer service. I also admire how readily he availed himself to learning something new from his manager (regarding setting up my account with Verizon -- just switched from Sprint to Verizon). Ordered a new smartphone on the Verizon website and chose to pick-up the device at this location. While chatting with a Verizon representative online, he informed me that I would be charged a $30 upgrade fee. He informed me that this fee would "help Verizon continue to provide customers with the level of service and support they have come to expect." The representative recommended that I transfer all contacts, images, messages, etc. before picking up the new phone. My experience at this store- Entered store at 6:00 PM (Saturday evening). Greeted by the "store manager" dressed in faded blue jeans and a sweat shirt. Manager was on a personal electronic device, did not make eye-contact with me, asked me my cell phone number, informed me that someone would be with me momentarily. I counted 6 customers (including myself) and 7 sales associates (including the manager). 3 of the sales associates and the manager were on their personal electronic devices not helping customers. No employee ever interacted with me during this time (30 minutes of waiting). 6:35 PM- sales associate named "Juan" called my name and asked how he could help me. 6:45- Juan presented new phone and asked if I wanted to set up phone. Phone was set up. Juan indicated that "I was all set to go." 7:00- left store with new phone. Final analysis: - Poor service / manager did not represent store in a professional manner. - Sales associates were not friendly or helpful - Juan was a nice person / not overly helpful or informative - Manager and employees did NOT provide a level of service and support they I have come to expect from being a Verizon customer for over 15 years. read more

Pls find another Verizon store with better reviews. My husband has a business account with Verizon for 16 years. Thousands of dollars worth of phones and products from them over the years. I was there two days ago to buy some accessories and was given the wrong charger. When I came back two days later I was told the price increase by five dollars??? The sales person I was dealing with did not seem very competent he was staring at his iPad screen or whatever you call it to try and find the receipt. I was sitting there for almost 10 minutes and he couldn't find it. He then told me I needed to pay the additional five dollars I had my credit card out I did not authorize him to charge it but he grabbed it and swiped it and I said can you please find the receipt before you charge me the five dollars there should not be a price difference? He handed back my card and said that he had already charged me which was so wrong! I finally asked for the manager. Oscar was the name of the manager. When I said to him that the five dollar difference should be waived because of the previous sales person mistake who sold me the wrong cable he was not willing to do anything initially. After me reminding him of the years our company has been with him he polished the correct cable over and saiid I could have. It. I then asked for him to please refund my personal credit card and he said he could not do that. I asked him for a print out of the receipt for the original purchases I made two days ago and he could not provide that. I asked again and he finally said he could refund me the five dollar swipe that his sales person dead and the original wrong cable. I now have a $27 credit on my personal card that should've been refunded to the business account?? I do not understand why he couldn't originally do the refund for the five dollars that wasn't authorized? I went to the Verizon Store in Santa Ana on Main Street (Across Main Place Mall). Sean (Customer Service Rep) help me transfer all my contact and apps to my new Samsung Galaxy S4 phone. He was very helpful, took his time, answered all my questions! Excellent customer service! I called the store, spoke to the manager and told him what excellent service Sean provided. I came into the store on June 3rd in the evening and Phillip helped me out with my purchase. I already have a family plan with 2 iPhones. I need to add another one. So, I told him exactly what I just wanted; new Samsung phone, but this line is coming from Sprint. He was very friendly and informed me about the price difference with adding another phone line and more data. Told me about the old phone trade value. He told me what the Samsung had to offer vs the iPhone incase I want to switch. Final recap. I got the new phone with 0 down because I'm never late on my payments. I was there yesterday I was really, really mad (with the cust. serv on the phone) because of an issue that happend with my plan. I love verizon, and Yes is expensive but it's worth it when you know the rules, but ofcourse they do not told you that. This Verizon location was the absolute worst. Came in inquiring and ready to switch from T-Mobile only to be stuck waiting for literally 25 minutes before finally receiving help. Naturally, I had a bunch of questions and I came prepared to outweigh pros and cons of switching, the first employee was fairly helpful, but then "had to check something" in regards to one of my questions. Nearly 20 minutes went by before another employee came over and said I had been passed off to him. This new employee immediately back tracked on nearly everything the previous employee had said and had little to no knowledge of any of the plans or holiday deals going on. He was rude, dismissive, and seemed as though he was being dishonest and passed me off to another employee who ended up being the guy that put me on the waiting list at the start. He was friendly, but also had very little knowledge on specific plans or correct verbiage to explain things. I've worked in sales and customer service my entire life and for a company as reputable as Verizon, this was completely unacceptable on what could've been a fairly large opportunity. Needless to say I'm now writing this from my new IPhone 11 max pro 256 gig while my family plan with 3 added lines and 3 additional phones from T-Mobile happy with my decision to stay. I came here because my iPhone got stuck on the startup apple logo and i went a full day without any access to my phone, I have insurance so I figured they might be able to suggest something since the stores normally offer to call tech support and try to trouble shoot issues I've had in the past. The girl who greeted me was not warm or friendly and could simply care less for the issue I was experiencing. She tried doing a reset which I explained I tried doing that multiple times and nothing worked, she never looked at my account to even ask about warranty or Insurance until I brought it up and said "well we could get you a phone within 2 days" and didn't empathize with my situation WHATSOEVER call me crazy but anyone that can go 2 days without a working phone in this day and age, that is damn near impossible. I told them i needed a working phone they suggested I find a family or friend that had an extra phone that I could borrow, as if people have extra phones charged and ready to go laying around, if it's so easy to do that...why am I paying insurance? I understand they are limited as to what they can do to troubleshoot but they didn't care about my problem or make me feel a valued customer. Pretty pathetic that I've been a loyal 11 year customer who shells out almost $400/month to be treated that way. I will make sure to research other carriers next time I upgrade any of my lines. Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. I was non-assisted by Solutions Manager, Ed Q. My 91 year old mother had purchased their Ellipsis Jet pack and it never worked right from the beginning. We had brought it in several times and they could never find anything wrong with it. Then she started getting excess data charges and we decided to return the product and cancel the contract. Mr. Quintero refused to cancel the contract without an early termination fee even though their product was defective. Called their customer service department from the store and talk to Becca who also refused and when I asked for her supervisor she said he didn't take calls. My time here was very frustrating and a complete waste of time. I had gotten a new phone at the Irvine location a couple weeks prior and was told that I could bring in my old iphone to this location (after I backed up my pictures) to trade in for Verizon credit that I could use toward my bill. When I came in, the manager let me know that they prefer to have customers trade in their phones for $100 worth of accessories in their store but that they would be able to help me anyway since the reps at the other location had directed me here. So, I waited almost half an hour to talk to a sales rep only to be told that they couldn't do this in their store and I would have to go submit for this on the Verizon website. When I let him know his manager his manager had told me otherwise, he stormed off to get him. When he finally came to talk to me, he said that was what he said all along. Clearly that was not the case. When I pointed out that I wouldn't have waited there in the store if he had told me I needed to do this online, he started to back track on his words and bumbled around until there was nothing else for me to do except leave. Bascially, he thought they would be able to convince me to use the $100 on accessories in their store. WHICH I TOLD THEM I WASN'T GOING TO DO! Trying to get to the bottom of this, I checked in on their website with a Live Chat representative. She let me know that I should have been able to do this in the store. So, in summary- management and representatives in this location don't adhere to Verizon policies, are unhelpful, disrespectful, and a waste of time to deal with. read more

I love Verizon, but I hate going to their stores. I recently had troubles with my phone. I have three chargers and none of them were working on the phone. First off the woman that helped me did not even ask my name or how she can help, all she said was her name. I explained that my phone would not charge and she immediately stated it was my chargers that were faulty not the phone. I explained that 3 chargers could not possibly be the problem. She then plugged her charger to my phone and of course it started to charge. She told me she will let it charge then left me in the lobby while she helped someone else. While she was attending to another customer, I asked another employee to test my car charger, he did and the charger was fine. When the woman who originally was helping me noticed I was talking to another employee she immediately decided to come over and be helpful again. I explained that the car charger worked, she grabbed it from my hand plugged it into her little machine and proceeded to tell me it did not work. Another employee stepped in and said it looked like a port problem. Home girl then rolled her eyes and huffed," well I guess it's a port problem." She then took me to another station to order a new phone, my phone was under warranty ,thank goodness. She proceeded to tell me I will get a replacement phone in 2 days and I can download all my stuff into the new phone by going to the website. When asked if I could just bring the phone back she rolled her eyes again and huffed " I guess so." I tried to get more information about the process of getting a new phone and she acted as if I was bothering her. So sorry to ask you to do your job. The customer service in this store is HORRIBLE! I had better experiences at the kiosk in the main place mall. 2/2/11 I just need to add one more thing about how horrible the service is at this store. I received my new phone and refusing to pay 40 bucks for the memory card to save my pictures, I deleted them. Only to find out a week later that I could have saved my pictures to the online album on my web account with Verizon. No one at the store could tell me that? Really, don't you think working for the company you should know some basics and options for your customer besides selling them crap they don't need? I am a customer service trainer and train over 1oo people a month, I will make sure they all know about where not to go or better yet where to go to see what not to do when working with customers. I never was able to find a qualified sales rep in a Verizon store until today. This statement is made after being a faithful Verizon client for over 13 years. Basically I did all of my business online. In fact I've often wondered if sales reps at the Verizon stores were even trained. I even thought perhaps they were prisoners doing me any service That changed today when I met Marty. His name is Martin Nall and I can truly say that he had my best interest at heart. I recently purchased a Samsung Note 4 and was considering options, notepad, data, etc. 1 He clearly laid out options He wrote them neatly on a piece of paper and showed no frustration when I asked him if I could give it further consideration before making a decision Where did this customer service person come from? Whatever the answer to that question I will drive 60 miles 2 complete any business I have with Verizon. Mr Manager take note you have a team member the truly cares for the needs of the client and after all is said and done isn't that the only thing that separates you from your greatest competition? I just asked a question about Assumption of Liability to transfer unlimited data, which is totally allowed with Verizon but he insists that is not true and if I can find a illegal way to do it, have at it. He also told me pretty much to gtfo the store. Verizon has the most uneducated employees. I can do their job and be nicer about it at my angriest moments. Customer service is crap here. I was 1 day late in returning a device and they had no trouble telling me tough luck. They even tried to convince me to keep something I don't even need. They made no effort to try and find some sort of solution so that I wouldn't have to be stuck with a 2 year contract. All the time I'm thinking... yes, it may be my fault for not being able to count but I'm one day late. Isn't there something the manager could do to help me out? Nope. This Verizon corporate owned store at 691 S Main St. Suite 80 Orange, CA 92868 is a JOKE!!!!! This store screwed me over big time years ago. They told me that I could upgrade by adding a line, and then when the contract on my primary line ended, I could then transfer the new contract over from the add a line and then cancel the add a line. That was a COMPLETE LIE!!! When I called Verizon Wireless customer service to cancel the add a line, they told me that I could not transfer the contract, and that their reps would never lie and tell me the wrong thing just to get a sale. Recently I wanted to find out about the new Device Payment Program. Verizon Wireless customer service told me to contact a store to ask more details about it because it's an in-store only program. The person that I spoke with over the phone at this location was hard to understand because he sounded like a homie from the hood. He said that he was the manager, and that the plan didn't cover phones only tablets, which was a LIE, and that I should come into the store so they could help me. I told him NO, and flat out told him over the phone that he didn't know what he was talking about. The previous rep who screwed me over at this location was a homie too. This location has been a BIG JOKE for years, and Verizon corporate obviously won't do anything about it. Avoid this store, and go to one of the other corporate owned locations such as in IRVINE. Also, this location is in a small shopping center with sh*tty parking. Some workers do a great job helping out..problem is..it takes literally 30-40 minutes to get help. I have gone on multiple occasions over the last few months and I end up having to wait ridiculously long. It literally takes 2 minutes to get it done too. I was the only person waiting to be helped and literally waited for 30 minutes only to be told that my phone could not get replaced and they did not have a charger available. Total waste of time. Not going back to this store. They seriously need more employees or JUST WORK FASTER. The store itself provides good service however; DO NOT EVER buy Verizon's Home Phone Connect. It is awful. I have been paying for it for over a year and it never works. I'm on my second receiver and it still doesn't work and they will not let me out of the contract without an early termination fee so I've just been paying for it until my contract expires. I never get any reception and half the tiime when I pick up the phone to use it I can't even get a dial tone, and the times I do get a dial tone, most of the time when I dial a phohe number it won't even connect the phone number and it takes several attempts until I can get the phone to dial the number. It is just plain a horrible system. You are better off just using your cell phone than having this at home service. read more

Wanted an iPhone 6 for his birthday, so I went in ready to pay in full. To their credit, they were polite. That's the extent of the positive experience. It took an hour waiting - only 2 people ahead of me - to get an agent to get the phone, case and Bluetooth device from the back, then she told me I could only buy it (I was paying full price) if I used my daughter's upgrade. My husband is happy about the phone, and I am, too, BUT it took another 2 hours on the phone with Verizon to unravel the paperwork nightmare the sales agent created. I'll drive over to Tustin Marketplace Verizon or Newport IF I ever have to go into a Verizon store again. read more
