Have been a customer of Verizon since way back when they were Airtouch cellular. Always received great service and never plan on leaving.

I really love how version has really nice employees because they were really kind and I like how Mr.Darwin Showed initiative he was nice and really helpful and I think that is how all employees should be. read more

The two employees had me wait for over 2 hours only to tell me that they couldn't help me at all unless the account manager was present. I went in yesterday to get my own phone plan and separate from my family's. Franklyn helped me out and answered all of my questions but when it came to signing forms, he was consenting to them for me without having me read them. Consenting for someone else is illegal, not to mention unethical, and cannot be happening. When I brought this to his attention he immediately stopped and had me do it myself. This store is a Verizon company store, and is supposed to be able to make changes to Verizon accounts. That's why we went by today. However, they chose NOT to do their job, saying instead that we needed to call Verizon ourselves for this, at 888-832-4540. So we came home to call. It turns out that the number they gave me is for switching phone numbers or something, NOT what I came in for and NOT what I wanted. I was finally able to get a phone number for Verizon on the web, and am now in an interminable hold pattern because they have no sense of urgency and really don't care about their customer set one way or the other. On the other hand, they're probably saving tons of money by eliminating anything that resembles customer service. If there was ANY WAY to get a better phone provider, I would ... but it seems that they're all cut from the same poor cloth. read more

My phone was having issues and I just purchased it alittle over a month ago.. drive to the Verizon head quarters in Fullerton who told me they do little troubleshooting and referred me to the Samsung store in Costa Mesa at the plaza and they would be able to help me with trouble shooting. I guess I should of called the Samsung store first before driving 40 minutes there to find Samsung store is no longer there. read more

I needed a new phone for family, went to Verizon at main st. Near to main place mall, Orange County Santa Ana/orange the salesman rep. His name is De Andre was dishonest, liar, he did try to sell to us unnecessary items for phone claiming was promotional, also without telling us he added protection plan $17.00 monthly and was telling us that he couldn't remove the protection plan until after 30 days, big lie,next day I ended up calling Verizon and asked for cancellation of protection plan, with no problem. The advice I can provide is check all your paper work and make sure not to get taken advantage of your order and plan . I feel that the transaction was a lot similar to car dealers, if you are not ready , they will get you. On a previous review I have a really bad experience also at Verizon Tustin market place. I guess there is no professionalism and honesty at Verizon,really sad about the fact that we are not appreciated as a customers. read more

This store is horrible. The staff seems content with being unhelpful. I asked for some guidance transferring from Android to iPhone. They would not help. 3 hours later, my phone is still waiting to be authenticated to transfer contacts. This is ridiculous that there was 6 people on staff and no one cared to help transfer from my old phone. read more

Went in to get the new iPhone 7, was rushed through the sale, not offered to assist in getting my old phone transferred to the new phone. After messing with the phone all night to finally get it all synced up, the very next day the camera completely stopped working. Had to go back and go through the process AGAIN, and still was not offered any assistance in transferring the second time. I would have given it a 2 star, but after seeing that management does not care about the integrity of their store, I decided that this location is a complete service failure. What is sad is that I have had Verizon since 1996, back then you could walk in with your broken Nokia 3390 and walk out literally 10 minutes later FREE OF CHARGE with a new phone completely cloned to your old phone. They used to actually care about their customers, now it's run by a bunch of hipsters and "talkers" who just need to compete in a sad numbers game. Useless, pointless, disorganized, unhelpful and fibber are a few words I can think of to describe my most recent visit here. Disclaimer - this is a long review, see summary at end. Useless/Pointless - To make an appointment because although they say no walk-ins and "by appointment only", they service anyone who queues up regardless of having an appointment or not. I probably wouldn't be so bitter about it if I wasn't one of the people with an actual appointment that was pushed back without warning for an hour. Disorganized - Is how I would describe the workers of this location. I made an appointment for this location, and unfortunately, through no fault of their own, they had to close during the hour of my appointment which I understood but all they had was a hand written note saying "Closed until 4pm, sorry for the inconvenience", ok.....? What about people with appointments? Mercifully while I was trying to contact someone at the store an employee who was getting his lunch passed by and I was able to ask them what was going on with the store closure. The employee informed me that it was a directive from corporate but that if I came back in an hour they would be able to assist me with no problem. Since I had other errands to run, I left and came back approximately 45min later. Upon my return I see a customer waiting at the door, I presumed he may have been a 4pm appointment. At this time the doors were still locked and closed. I then notice another man walk up to the door, I then begin to wonder if I need to walk up as well but I still had my appointment that had the option to check-in when I arrived, so being Covid conscious, I decided against joining these men. Eventually the doors are unlocked at 4pm I get out of my car and another man has joined the group. I am expecting the employees to start asking for who has an appointment but nope! They just start asking the men in front what they need. The employee then tells these men they need to wait 6ft apart in the marked areas where I was already standing, of these men gave no nevermind to me and just stepped right in front a few steps ahead of me. Unfortunately, there were only enough employees on hand to help the men in front of me so I waited like an idiot. At this point I should have known to take my business elsewhere. Unhelpful/Fibber - The reason for the visit was to activate a new phone. I was making the transition from Google pixel to iphone. I know it is something that should have been easy to do on my own but I was afraid to mess something up so I took it in just to be on the save side. When I explained my reason for being there the employee flat out said it wasn't possible to transfer anything from the old phone to the new phone and all contacts had to be put in manually. At this point I wasn't 100% sure if he was telling the truth or not but since I had read by someone else they were previously told the same thing I didn't believe him but i was over it so I left and took myself to the Verizon retailer off of Chapman and Yorba. See my other review for how that went, but basically the other Verizon place just proved this guy to be a big fat fibber. Summary - This location used to be good with helpful staff, but now has apparently gone down. I would recommend avoiding here if it can be helped and heading to the retailer off of Chapman that has actual helpful and competent staff. read more

These sales guys are definitely not known for their integrity because they're going to use whatever cleaver fast or vague talking they can to get you to sign a contract. Make sure to do your homework before going into ANY Verizon store. Otherwise, you could spend more than you expected. It's getting to the point that I dread phone shopping just as much as I dread car shopping! I've never had good service at this location so not sure why I agreed to meet my parents here to help them get phones. After wasting 15 minutes trying to find the direct phone number to this store and speaking with someone overseas, I finally got the number: 714-564-0050. However, the recorded message you're greeted with tells you that you can't speak to anyone in the store as they're assisting other customers. Really? I would give this corrupt store 1 star if it weren't for Sergio, who eventually rectified the situation. I have always been a loyal Verizon customer, and I was shocked at how unethically I was treated at this location and how many blatant lies I was told. First of all, this wretched customer saleswoman Amy swindled me into buying a phone without my knowledge and charged me over a thousand dollars. When I realized what had happened, I went back to return it only to find out that it "couldn't be done". Why? Because incompetent Amy already used up my return by ringing up the wrong phone the first time. She AND her manager then proceeded to shame me for Amy's mistake and made me come back the next day because they "couldn't access the system after hours". When I spoke to customer service, I figured out this was a flat out lie; they were just too lazy to do anything about the situation that night. I also found out through customer service that the manager had written scathing notes about me. To make a long story short, it was only after a week of stress and speaking with corporate multiple times that everything was fixed. So yeah, unless you want your money stolen or a woman named Amy condescending to you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

They also charged us two $35 activation fees with no disclosure, they just showed up on our first bill which was about $75 more than what they told us it would be. Total unexpected fees ... $105! I've never had to pay to activate my phone with other providers, nor switch phones nor anything. This Verizon branch exemplifies very poor customer service and miscommunication, especially when it comes to the sales staff. I went in there a couple months ago to upgrade my phone. Sergio was the gentleman who helped me out. Essentially, I traded in my phone and was told by Sergio that he would be to get me some type of cash credit. I want to add that I don't know how the process works or any tactics that they try to use. Anyway, I go in the next day to follow up and management informed that it goes against their rules and that he was not suppose to promise that. Second, I went in a few days ago to upgrade my girlfriends phone. (Samsung user converting to iPhone, finally!!!) Lisa was the sales person that assisted us with the transition. However, upon learning that we wouldn't be purchasing any accessories in addition to the upgrade, her entire demeanor changed. She showed poor body language: slouching over her desk and absolutely no enthusiasm . We honestly felt as if we were wasting her time. In addition, she told us that we can simply transfer the info from her old phone with little trouble and that we would get a certain amount of credit for her phone. Well, surprise! We followed her instructions and it did not work. Thanks a lot... When we asked about the trade in value, we received a completely different price! Lisa did not help us at all and misinformed us on a lot of things This issue with their sales team stems from mediocre training by management. There is no accountability and something has to be done. My experience at the Verizon Store 1500 E Village Way, Orange Ca, was a disaster. It was fine to start but in went down hill form there. Nothing personal, I am a senior, why would the salesman tell me 5x's or more  " don't you remember" Moving forward, I made an appointment to purchase an new I phone, simple yes?  should  be. I have been a customer of Verizon's for over 15 years. After all the fast talking, 30 days warranty on a new phone??? I decided to cancel my transaction, NO refund, NO proof of anything.  Store Manger could of cared less.  ( Gabe ) So I paid for a new phone $445.50, and Verizon has my money, and I don't have a phone.  RUN fast from this store, poor customer service, I'm speechless..... read more

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Erika, who helped my wife and I upgrade to a new iPhone 11. We actually had a discrepancy with our account, which she explained to us very clearly and patiently, and helped us find a workaround. We even had to make a call in the middle of our session, which felt really rude (sorry!), but she never rolled her eyes or showed any sign of frustration with us. Switching phones can be a huge pain in the butt, but when you have help from people like Erika, suddenly it's not so bad after all. This review is long over due. Verizon's sales approach to service is why I am rating them a 1 star. They are amazing when they are trying to sell you something and you add 5 lines but if you ever have an issue they don't care about you. They brush you off to customer service or to other stores. I walked in today on 9/16 with an ongoing issues with a trade in promotion. There was no willingness to assist or any ownership. Instead I was told to go the the store I made my purchase from (45min away) or call Customer support. Because they would not be making any commission from me, I was bushed off. I was so angry that I just walked out. To the manager of this store, I think you should reevaluate your business model. As a sales store, if you don't treat your customers well at all points of the business partnership, they will not come back. Every customer should be a priority whether you are selling them something or not. Trust me, if you treat them well they will be loyal customers even if your prices are higher. After my promotion ends, I will be leaving Verizon. read more

This Verizon corporate store is my go-to store when I need something done and I feel like I need someone personally to do it for me. Its located right across from the mall in Orange...near CHOC. I have gone in to this store on numerous occasions to do everything from purchase a new cell phone to have one replaced under warranty to even just having them swap out the ESN on an iPhone I was selling. My one complaint would be that I always seem to have to wait 30 minutes to get something done, but other than the wait they are always friendly and professional with me. :0) read more

I just received my finalized bill and turns out they did not remove the charges from the amount of the invoice after my cancellation date! Upon calling Verizon, me that it will not be credited and that the previous employee and mgr. whom I had spoke with had never mentioned anything about my bill being prorated for the amount of days the phone was not billed! When terminating your contract with Verizon here are 2 things to keep in mind: 1) Contract End Date - Is NOT the date that you are eligible for a new phone. The only way to find out your contract end date is to check your original contract or call Verizon; they do not post it on their website. 2) Date that you terminate contract: Make sure you terminate your Verizon contract at the end of the months billing cycle. If you cancel before the end of your cycle date, Verizon will charge you for the FULL month. Happy Phone Hunting!!! = ) read more

After going to the Brea store, and being had, because I am young, tattooed and female, I took my less young, less tattooed, less female dad with me over to the Orange store. Eric J. blessed us with his presence. After discussing with upper management on what to do with our situation, he got the go ahead to help us out and accommodate us in any way possible. Ding! Score. All bases were covered, no problems. I would suggest traveling that extra mile to come here versus Brea. The self proclaimed "tech" girl who had no idea how to even start troubleshooting a problem or even attempted to understand it, proceeded to blame - in this case the OS, classic incompetent tech support: "when stuck, blame". Complete waste of my time. They had a IT real geek here a while back but this one is a true bimbo!!!! She would be better off working in one of the adjacent fast food restaurants! I post this after the service my husband received by this location tonight. He is not a complainer and quite honestly this is the 1st known complaint I have seen him do in 14years. It is worth letting the public know about. Good Evening Manager, I came into your store today to try to get a nano sim for a phone that I have on order (Motorola Nexus 6) that arrives tomorrow.  The representative immediately told me that I couldn't have a nano sim without activating it in the store. I explained that would be a pain because it's very difficult to get the sim out of my current phone, but that I did have a sim adapter in my car and was willing to activate it in store if that was the only way.  Your employees told me it was.   I went to my car and got the adapter at which point your employee took me to a table.  He attempted to activate it but said he couldn't because my phone was not a nano sim device.  I explained again that I had an adapter but he said it wasn't possible and I should just bring the new phone in when I got it. I explained that even though the Nexus 6's sold directly from Motorola and Google are white listed for Verizon's network that they cannot be activated directly.  The work around is to activate the nano sim in another device and then swap it in to the Nexus 6 and then everything works fine.  I told him that customer service could send me a nano sim, but that it would take two days.  I asked him why they were able to do it over the phone but he couldn't do it for me in the store.  He said the sim's were part of inventory and there was nothing he could do.  I asked him to call support and he refused.  I then asked for your card. On the way home I called Verizon customer support and they are sending me a nano sim.  The process was painless and my sim will arrive Monday.  In the meantime my Nexus 6 will be a paperweight this weekend since I don't have the appropriate sim. I have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years and have always received excellent service.  Tonight however was the single worst experience I've had at ANY retailer.  I'm extremely disappointed that your staff couldn't assist me, but even more disappointed they didn't seem to care.  Considering I spend $300 a month on service, it seems trivial to not provide me with a nano sim that has to cost less than $5. I spoke to a representative online to lodge a complaint and they told me I would have to send it normal mail which I plan to do tomorrow.   I appreciate your time and attention to this matter. These people leave their integrity at home when they go to work. Their gimmick is to say they are making a "custom" plan for you. I was told the $500 I was spending was going to the payment on plan for my phones. A while later the sales rep came back saying I was getting $500 store credit, since I have been a customer for a while, and could spend it on anything in the store. Brandon, the douche bag rep, assured me everything was fine as I was checking out. I get my documents through email and don't see the $500 down anywhere when reviewing it. I call up Corporate and they confirm it wasn't towards my plan. Turns out it was a shady sales tactic to get me to spend $500 to increase his commission. The store manager was definitely aware of what was going on as he had his hand up his puppet reps ass. Thankfully, the person in Corporate wasn't a jerk off and I was able to return the items. It doesn't end there ... I see my asshole rep in the store when I return the items, tell the people he was helping about it, and I was TOLD to leave. read more

I have been with Verizon for well over 10 years. I tend to do my account business online due to the ease of access. I had to go into a store today to cancel a line off of my account....oohh, what a mistake. The give your name and someone will be with you way of doing business is horrible. They had 5 employees (3 behind the counter with customers, 1 behind the counter looking very intensely at the computer screen & 1 at the door greeting and taking the names). I stood around waiting for someone to help me for over 30 minutes. The employees worked soo slow with the other customers (I understand that getting things right with each individual person is the right thing to do, but come on). When one would finish with a customer, they take their sweet time to help the next person, then bump you for the impatient lady that walks in and is having a fit at the front door because she has to wait. I had a really strange experience. I didn't have my ID, so the employees couldn't help me. Here's the problem- my phone didn't work. I wasn't making changes to my plan or even looking anything up. Apparently, when my phone was activated, the Verizon people didn't activate the part where I was supposed to receive calls. So, because the employees (albeit very friendly) couldn't help me, and I couldn't call Verizon, they let me use their phones to... call... Verizon. Does anyone see the irony in this? Eventually the phone call with Verizon (who had NO WAY of verifying that I was the correct person) from the Verizon store was a success. I'm going to give props to Martin, who saw me struggling with a very active baby and offered to help me even though it wasn't my turn. He also let me know how much longer it was going to be. Also, he helped me put my sim card back when I couldn't because of the aforementioned active baby. read more

I am a fan of Verizon- i've visited many stores for different reasons, but this one is the best. The employees there actually seem to enjoy their work and spend quality time with every customer. I recently had a phone issue with my blackberry and though they couldn't resolve the issue, Gary- an employee there spent about 2 hours working with me with NO attitude or resentment, I really appreciated his help. My son arrived at this Verizon location before me. He was sitting down waiting for someone to assist him. Upon arriving, I wasn't sure why he wasn't being helped. Soon, Jeff (the manager) said that he would be helping and for us to wait a minute. Upon finishing with a customer he turned to us then turned to an associate and asked HIM to help us. My son has a speech impediment. Which is to say, you have to be patient, understanding and kind. Something this manager is NOT! My son wasn't daunted, he bought a new phone from a helpful associate.
