I've been a long time customer with AT&T…read more I have two iPads that were part of my cellular plan with AT&T. I no longer need them to be part of the plan, so I was able to cancel one of the services using their app, however, I could not do the second line. That is why I am visiting the AT&T store. Matt greeted us and was very informative and helpful. First he canceled the second iPad account and then explain their home Internet system. He was thorough and efficient and quick. While we were there, my wife asked him about another line and the cost it would be to add it to our account. He was able to quickly set up our account to include this new line, but we had to get a transfer ID number from T-Mobile. Needless to say, we had to call T-Mobile and my wife has waited on the line on two separate occasions each time it was an hour and longer, in fact she's still on the phone with them and we're already at one hour and 10 minutes. So right now if I were to compare AT&T with T-Mobile, there would be no dispute, and it's not because I've been a long time customer of AT&T it's because of the length of time is taking T-Mobile to get a simple task completed. I would rank AT&T's customer service far away better than T-Mobile. Matt also answer one of my questions about their home Internet. He said that I could try their home Internet for seven days without any charge. I did have to set up that account, and wait for the unit to be delivered to me which should take a couple of days. Once I get it then I can test it out for seven days, and if I like it, then I keep it and set up the rest of the account or excuse me activate the account, and if I do not enjoy the service, then I simply return the unit to them. Because I am an AT&T account holder the value for the home Internet is a significant savings, 20%.

Avoid this AT&T at all costs!…read more After almost a month, the manager Humberto Ramirez, told me I had to come back and fix THEIR mistake or I'd be charged full price for my iPhone 17 after already trading in my iPhone 13. They forced me to drive an hour to the store, reverse the entire transaction, get my phone back, and redo everything with a new device... all because of THEIR error. When I arrived, Eric told me to "come back another day" because the manager had left early. This is after the manager, Alberto, had already been in contact with me multiple times about this "urgent matter" and knew I was coming. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. Eric then pushed me to purchase iCloud, claiming scanning a QR code would take too long because "the wifi here is very slow". Meanwhile I had already been in the store for THREE HOURS. He explicitly promised my data would be backed up before any work was done. That was a lie. I lost ALL my photos, including my engagement pictures, completely irreplaceable. On top of that, my property was mishandled. Eric ripped off my $40 Belkin UltraGlass screen protector and slapped it onto another phone with zero care or professionalism. I've called multiple times asking for a replacement and have been completely ignored. This place is careless, unprofessional, and takes zero accountability when they make serious mistakes. They cost me irreplaceable memories and wasted hours of my time. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else. UPDATE 03-23-26 never received a callback from Humberto, so I had to drive to the AT&T store myself to request a refund. Humberto told me I would need to pay a $55 restocking fee and refused to waive it. He also declined to replace my screen protector despite the inconvenience caused. He mentioned he might have covered these under different circumstances, but not in my case. Thankfully, Ozzy stepped in, contacted customer service, and was able to secure a full refund for me. I really appreciate your help, Ozzy. Due to this experience, I decided to move my service over to T-Mobile.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!…read more I had a very disappointing experience at this T-Mobile Authorized Dealer. The Assistant Manager, Rupali, and one of the customer representatives were extremely rude, lacked any sense of urgency, and showed no empathy toward a customer who had just had their phone stolen. I visited the store in the afternoon, and there were no other customers waiting. I was asked to wait, which I did. I was extremely anxious because every minute mattered--I was worried someone could access my personal information and steal my identity. When I saw another representative enter the store, I politely asked if she could help me. The Assistant Manager immediately interrupted and said the employee had not logged in or clocked in yet, so I continued waiting. A few moments later, the representative came back out. She clearly knew I was waiting for assistance, but instead of logging in and helping me, she delayed. Because I was desperate and anxious, I politely asked again if she could assist me. Instead of showing any understanding, she refused to help and told me to "just go to another location." She then told me that I needed to "respect her," when in reality, she was the one being rude and dismissive. Rather than addressing the situation, the Assistant Manager tolerated and supported this unacceptable behavior. I understand that employees have procedures to follow, but when a customer comes in after having their phone stolen, empathy and urgency should be a priority. A stolen phone is not just an inconvenience--it can lead to identity theft and financial fraud. This is an Authorized Dealer representing the T-Mobile brand. I sincerely hope T-Mobile looks into how this location treats its customers because experiences like this damage the company's reputation. No customer should be treated with such indifference during a stressful and urgent situation.

The one great thing about Cricket Wireless is that they have a trial available where you could try…read moretheir service alongside your current provider to make comparisons in performance between the two. I downloaded the Try Cricket app on my iPhone and tested it out with my then-current provider. I was convinced to switch to Cricket after I tried using my cell phone in my church's basement level (we are meeting there temporarily until the church's roof can be refurbished). My then-current provider had NO signal at all, yet Cricket still had a signal, even though it showed one signal bar on my phone. I then switched later that week online, after which I received an email notifying me that it would take 2 business days to switch over. I had seen the Cricket Wireless store adjacent to the Walmart on South Street, so I decided to stop by to see if they could speed up the process of getting me switched over. The employee on duty, Emely, was helping other customers who were there before me, so I had to wait a short while. When she was ready, she called me over and I explained my situation with proof that I had made the switch online; I just needed to make the switch complete on my device. It was a bit of a laborious process for Emely (she was helping other customers in between), but she punched a few buttons on my iPhone and told me that I was finally switched over to the Cricket Wireless network. :-) I signed up for the $55.00/month unlimited data plan. Since I elected to have my monthly payments on auto pay, I get a $5.00 discount, so I end up paying $50.00/month. Emely was very welcoming, friendly, and patient while she got the process started in switching me over to Cricket. So far, the service is working flawlessly. I highly recommend the service and this particular Cricket store for sure.

I even qualified for a free screen protector, which was a huge bonus. The entire staff was welcoming and professional, and everything was completed on time. My phone works perfectly now and has a brand-new screen protector as well. Quick tip: liquid screen protectors are not worth it. I had one, my screen still shattered, and the company didn't truly stand behind their warranty. Definitely use a physical screen protector on top of your screen--even if you have a liquid one. I highly recommend this place for phone and electronic repairs. Just note that if you don't have insurance on your device, repairs can be a bit pricey.
