Won't be going here anymore. Forget the replacement screen program I will get mine from a Verizon store store. In May my sons went to get there phone screen replaced and were treated as if they were as if they were trying to get one over on them. My husband took him back the same day and they were able to change his screen under the replacement plan. Today I went to get his screen replace - the lady (assistant manager) was helping us then someone came in and she passed us on to her assistant, she asked him to unlock his phone which he did using the face lock feature then behind the counter she turns off the phone needing my sons pass code to unlock it- my son didn't remember to pass code, when I asked her coworker if she turned off the phone he says No she didn't. They didn't even offer any options to assist him with retrieving his pass code. Come on dude this is not that serious he is a young shopper and has already made the decision not to visit your store again. Treat people how you want to be treated I say. read more

I had an extremely negative experience here this morning. When I arrived, there were only two employees working, and both were involved in lengthy transactions with other customers. They both had the courtesy to ask if I had any questions they could answer quickly. I said no, as I had some rather involved questions. I had a bad feeling from the start, though. A female employee "greeted" me as I walked in. She was cold and unfriendly. I thought about requesting to speak to the other guy who seemed more polite. I ended up waiting nearly thirty minutes for her to finish her transaction. She answered my questions in a rude and condescending manner. I left and won't return. read more

Gabriel was helpful in setting up two Edge upgrades. He laid out the prices and quoted us on our new monthly bill. But what he failed to mention was that GoWireless charges a $20 "Ready 2 Go Device Set Up" charge. I guess it's a convenience fee of some sort. He did not mention this to me; I was under the impression I was paying for the first months payments on the new phones I had received. Due to this, I feel a bit cheated. But overall I believe this place is decent compared to the other Verizon retail stores in the area. Be sure to ask about this "Ready 2 Go Device Set up" fee before you finalize anything. read more

I came into this Verizon store looking to trade in my old iPhone in and get a new iPhone 13. The day I came in my new phone was ordered and I was told that I would receive $800 for trading in my old iPhone. When I got the email stating my phone was delivered, I came back to the Verizon store to pick it up. I was told my phone was not ready to be picked up and to come back tomorrow and it would be ready. I showed up the next day and the system was not running properly so I had to leave yet again without my phone. I received a phone call the following day that I could come pick up my phone so I went to the store crossing my fingers that I would walk out with my new phone. Once all my information was transferred over to the new iPhone I was informed that there was no evidence in their system of me being eligible for an $800 trade in for my phone and had to come back the following day to try to sort out the madness. I would have never come in in the first place if I knew the hassle it would be just to get a new phone and to get the money I was promised for my old phone. This location is extremely unorganized and it is difficult to talk to a manager to sort out any issues. If you're looking to waste your time this is the verizon store. I went into the store an was greeted by Kenneth Amazing young man, he went above and beyond with the quality of customer service. As opposed to John, he was dealing with a customer an showed no true interest in helping the customer. He keeped asking question about numerous things an John was giving him the bare minimum of info that he could provide. With no details or enthusiasm that Kenneth showed me as a customer. I hope this dude receives recognition from his superiors. He definitely deserves it. Let alone a raise, I just hope something positive happens for him. He is very personable he knew how to communicate with me an made me feel good about my purchase. Very satisfied with how he handled the whole transaction. read more

I'm super disappointed with my experience at this store. I came in to pick up a new phone. When I was checking out, the guy told me that I was getting a free tablet (I thought it was free with the Note 7), and I said, oh, OK cool. What he didn't tell me was that it was not really free. It was a 2 YEAR CONTRACT at $10 a month to have it activated. When I went to pay my bill, I noticed that I was being charged something like $15 for a line I didn't recognize. I hadn't even taken the tablet out of the box...I really didn't need it but oh well. I was also being charged something like a $60 activation fee for this tablet. Nobody told me I would be paying a monthly fee and an activation fee for this thing that I didn't even ask for. I spent a few hours on the phone with Verizon (this is not an actual Verizon store...just an authorized dealer) and they contacted the store to see if they would take back the tablet. They said they would ask their supervisor and get back to me, so the Verizon rep said he'd call back in a few days to check up on me. He (the Verizon rep) called back a few days later and I told him they hadn't called (which they hadn't). He contacted them again and they told him they forgot to call me back but couldn't take the tablet back because too much time had passed. (By then it had been about 4 weeks, since the day I went to buy the phone I had just paid my bill and it wasn't due again for another month). The Verizon rep actually took care of the activation fee and the first month, but couldn't do much more. I still end up losing the $175 cancellation fee. It's a really low thing to do something like this to a customer. The guy Joey who signed me up could easily have said, oh this is $10 a month and costs this much to activate and I would have said no, because I didn't need one. We have too many tablets in our house as is...but instead, I spend my hard earned dollars learning a lesson and getting caught in a weak con. Steer clear of this place and I'm sorry if you got caught slipping too. The Verizon rep said this happens all of the time. Shame. UPDATE 01-30-17 After writing this initial review of my experience, I was contacted by a GoWireless representative by the name of Marci K. We spoke and she said that she was going to find out more about what happened and why this happened, but she never called back after that. That was 3 months ago. I paid the cancellation fee. What else could I do? The GoWireless rep actually told me to sell the tablet on Craigslist to pay off the cancellation fees! Fast forward to today, I received a letter from GOWIRELESS stating that I OWE $300 for the tablet because I cancelled the service and did not return the tablet. THEY TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T TAKE BACK THE TABLET BECAUSE TOO MUCH TIME HAD PASSED. Now they are saying that I breached their Mobile Device Agreement and that if I don't pay this in 30 days, that they will send it to a collection agency. I guess my next call is to my lawyer. I just recently moved to Long Beach and I am so glad that this store is right down the street from me. The store manager Ian was so helpful when I had issues with my phone bill. First of all .. anytime only one person can fix an issue and you have four other guys standing around saying that you have to talk to the manager because they don't know anything.. beware you will have a problem. Unfortunately I didn't see the signs when I walked into this store a month ago. I was looking for a solution to my WiFi problems with the other carriers. What I got was a new phone I didn't need and yet another bill that I have to dispute . Have talked to corporate and found out that they have no knowledge of what I was sold at this store so they can't speak regarding the overcharges on my bill. Each retain store has their own package deals with Dish. So I've come to this store three times trying to catch the manager Jonathan. Now I've been here waiting 20 mins and still waiting ... I'm NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS STORE... if you are thinking of Verizon be sure you go to a corporate store not one of these retainer authorities stores . I would not be surprised if this manager , Jonathan, gets a bonus or kick back on number of new accounts he activates with false information. Now I have a bill for a phone and Dish bundle of over $170 a month. So frustrating. Hope this guy gets fired . read more

Not no, knowing how to sell type tactic, straight up lie. He's a damn manager???! Disappointing and shameful. He charged us for packet he DID NOT mention and tried to say it's non refundable when confronted? Ha! Grow some balls. You can still make your quota without making yourself look like a di**. Oh, Jonathan the "manager" even had the audacity to ask me to write a review for him. Which I did, to help him out. Until the truth came out. Great service! At first, they told me I wasn't due for an upgrade for another 2 weeks, but were able to work it out. Joey Nunez found a way to get me a phone even though my upgrade was a couple weeks out. Ian, the manager, ended up doing the upgrade and worked it out so I could keep my phone number and all my info from my old phone. They think outside the box and find ways to get you your phone. Zero Star Rating - Be VERY careful when dealing with the people here. We were completely hoodwinked and bamboozled into signing up for that Stupid Edge program when we went in for an upgrade. The rep said he would apply our upgrade to a new phone purchase, but instead extended service on one phone (which we absolutely did NOT need) AND signed us up for Edge on another line. Of course the Customer Service people were of no help and now we are stuck with a freaking $577 Edge contract and a G3 phone extension. Thanks for treating your long time customers so shitty Verizon. We will be moving our service to another carrier. You suck!!!!!!!!! read more

Just had the best customer experience I have probably ever had! These guys truly care about the customer and providing the best services. I have had a few different instances at different stores over the past few years where I am promised things but end up seeing extra charges on my bill that I didn't expect. After being so frustrated I was finally able to get everything worked out and Bismarck helped get me more data and cancel what I didn't need. The result is a cheaper bill but I'm getting more!! On Saturday afternoon I went to the Long Beach Town Center to look at new phones. When I walked into the Verizon store there were 4 staff members there. Each of them greeted me and were eager to assist me. One hour later I walked out with my new phone the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The staff reviewed the new features with me, demonstrated how the phone works and made suggestions on usage. Other patrons came in as I was there and the staff were professional with each one. I've already told my friends that this store is the place to shop for their new phone. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and real.
